Beginnings

The first elisio guild was created by Laura on April 13th 2009. It became a semi-successful guild with around 40 members, but was hesitantly closed down due to inactivity.

On September 28th 2009, Laura hunted down the old co-owner (Trinh) and a few other elisio members - in an attempt to create a new guild. Thus elisio was re-created to be bigger and better than ever.

11/25/09: Secret Santa

First off I would like to wish you all a happy thanksgiving! I'm not sure if everyone celebrates it, but turkey is delicious.
There aren't many updates today. However...

Secret Santa!
I am compiling a list of those participating in the Secret Santa.
If you wish to participate, you must neomail me by December 5th.
The current people who are participating are:
liltorianna, cyndikins, friendly_angel27, x_im_not_your_star_x, grimzopper, druselia, rain_e_days, exile_detoured, and katgirl_77.

Realize that with secret santa you are basically obligated to send someone a gift. This gift can be anything - neopoints, graphics, etc. Please do not say you are participating, then back out at the last second/don't send your user a gift. I will feel terrible if somebody ends up not getting a gift from their secret santa because it wasn't organized well enough.

On the bright side, if you definitely want to participate neomail me and I will add you to the list. I am organizing the entire event.

Here is how the Secret Santa works:
1. On December 5th I will have a list of everyone who is participating in the Secret Santa.
2. On December 6th I will assign and neomail everyone a single person that they have to send a gift to.
3. On December 24th, everyone will send their assigned person the gift that they got for them.

Does that make sense?

I realize that the secret santa won't be very "secret." It would be too complicated to make it secretive. I can't exactly stop anyone, but please do not share who your person is on the boards or anything! I will delete any posts that talk about secret santa. (This discludes questions and other things of course.)

I hope that clears everything up! Remember - Secret Santa begins December 5-6, and it ends on the 24th! Have fun! :)

11/12/09: Council!

Third council position has finally been chosen!
Congrats to Tori! (kittyxrawr) She has received third council position, along with full admin.

Also - congrats to our other finalists; Kym, Sandy, and Kat! They have received the oisile rank - along with the board monitor, calendar monitor, and member privileges.

Choosing council was so hard, and really, all of you members are fantastic and probably deserve council as well!

Remember there are always the fourth and fifth council positions, so if you really want to be on council just keep up the great work!
