Elise's Layout Tutorial

Note: This tutorial was made in psp9 basic knowledge of the program is required as I will not explain every minute detail of how to do each step. Also credits can be found here.

Rules


1. You MUST credit me (cupidsbarbie) for this tutorial. If I find y0u didn't you may be put on the wall of shames and your hands chopped off. I spent hors working on this tutorial so you could use my style the least you could do is credit.
2. Do not steal any images from this tutorial if I find our your dead!

Colors I used
Black:#000000
White:#ffffff
Pink:#e81884
Pink: #3ab6cc

Part1


First we are going to have a grunge background similiar to this. (You may copy this part and this part only!!!!!

Part 2


No we are going to be adding some some black brushes for the base on a new raster layer. It should look similiar to this.

Part 3


Now make a new raster layer for circles. Pick a nice color and fill the layer with circles like this.

Now we have to have a border. Make sure you read this very carefully!
1.Copy the layer with the circles and then ,ake a new image the same size as your base an fill the background with black. 2. Now paste it as a new selection. Go to Selctions •• Modify •• Select Selection Borders. (see image for help)

Match your setting to mine

3. Now hit ctrl C and go back to you original pice and paste them on the layout. Line it up more with the brushes. Then set the outlines layer effect to darken.

Wow.. Glad that parts over with.. But wait there is more...

Part 4


Now make a new layer and chose a new color for the brushes. Black is sometimes good but I am going to be using the blue color.
From ther follow the same steps as you did in part 3 with the outline.
You should get something like this:

Now go back and forth between the pink and the blue and add circle brushes and such until you get something like this. (use outlines)

Your probaby saying darn that looks crowded but have no fear.

Part 5- Almost done!


Make a new layer and add some sparlie white brushes. Add some black ones too if you would like
Now Add another layer ad add some line brushes like so.

Now go to effects •• 3D effects•• Drop Shadow.

Match your setting to mine

Now for this layer site th opacity to around 60%

Part 6- Final Stage


Now go the the layer under the base and add some ray brushes. so it looks similiar to this
You may want to set the opacity to around 60 on this layer as well.

Now under or above which ever looks better add a pink, black, and a blue stripe and rafe the right edge like you would a psd so it looks like this.

Now just add your psd, text box, ad text and your done! Remember if you use this tutorial to credit! Also neomail cupidsbarbie your finished version I'd love to see how they turn out!

Yours could turn out like this if you just play around and add on to it (xstrikexaxpose is a spare account of mine and the psd is cut from mysite)
