One of our eagle-eyed members, Joel, noticed that the Gourmet Club trophies on pet lookups are linked to their high score table. Because he is so intelligent from all the reading he does, Joel then noticed that our Book and Booktastic Award trophies link to ...drumroll... nothing!

But wait, there's more! Once you click the Gourmet Club trophy and land its high score table, you can then click on a pet's number of Gourmet Foods Eaten and it will take you to a page displaying all of the rare foods that pet has eaten.

Won't you join us in asking TNT to link our Book and Booktastic Awards on our pet lookups to the high score tables, and also linking our number of books read to a page displaying them? Please take a banner and display it wherever you can to help spread the word.

Should you wish to take more action, please help by writing to the NT Editorial or use the Premium submission form if you have access. Those are the most efficient ways to get TNT to see our plea. At the top of the website you'll see a series of tabs leading to different sections of the website. Take a little time to poke around, and discover all the wonderful things S2 offers. By far the most important tab is the one labeled "GuildHQ", this is where you'll find information about the guild, our expectations of members, and guild ranking information.

The home page is where our newsfeed resides. When new books are released, this is where you'll see them announced. We also make guild and website announcments here, as well as occasional Neopets news.

Registering for the website will allow you to comment on our news posts, and that very same registration allows you to participate in our forums. The forums are a great place to hang out, get to know your fellow guildmates, and share a lot of information about books and reading.

What the S2 website looks like:

One of the oldest and most well known guilds, Spanky's Book World has been around since early 2002. Our primary goal is to provide all the information on Neopets books that we possibly can so that our members can achieve their goals, whether it be just to make their pets more intelligent or go for the gold with the Neopian Book Awards. Our members are mainly focused on reading to and educating their Neopets. Most members read a moderate amount of books and have many other interests. Friendly, helpful, and informative, our members are some of the most wonderful people in Neopia.

The Council and Subcouncil of Spankys Book World are all volunteers who do their jobs because of their love of book reading and helping others to achieve their reading goals.

This is not your average guild -- we're friendly, respectful, and all members are expected to treat others with kindness and thoughtfulness.

Spankys Book World Highlights:

• An online book database where you can keep track of all the books your pet has read, as well as view approximate prices of books. This database will also keep track of your stamps, avatars, etc. if you choose.

TNT gives us very limited board space, and they auto delete messages that are more than a few days old. Because of these limitations, we generally only use the guild board for book news, guild news, book info, etc. We tend to discourage conversations on the board as it bumps off important posts that members should be reading.

We have a wonderful forum on our website that we'd like to encourage you to use instead. Your posts will live forever there, huzzah!

What SpankysBookWorld Guild Expects of You

First and foremost, Spankys members are expected to abide by the Neopets T&C. We expect you to be a team player, and think of how whatever you do will affect the guild and guild members.

Quickest Ways To Get Banned

Cheating, lying, whining, disrespecting, and/or making things difficult/unpleasant for members or council are always an instant exit out of the guild/guild hangouts.

There is no such thing as a Councilbot

Please remember that the people who run this guild do so on a volunteer basis, and being thoughtful and helpful keeps them from asploding. Should we ever decide to hire robots to run the guild, book deals, and website, you'll be the first to know.

Hey, I Thought You Said There Were No Rules!

There aren't! But we do have some guidelines to keep things running smoothly -- we do have approximately 2,000 guildmembers besides you.

Please read the GuildHQ section of our website for more information about what we expect from our members, but this short list will get you started on the right foot.

• Respect your council and subcouncil. They are all volunteering their free time to work for the guild. Making things difficult for any of them is a good way to get yourself talked to, warned, or even banned. Don't treat anyone in a way you would not want to be treated yourself!
• Respect your peers. This is not the place to talk down to other people, make them feel badly, try and bolster your own ego at someone else's expense, or be disdainful.
• If you simply cannot get along with someone, ignore them. Do NOT pick a fight with someone or instruct them on the rules as if you were council. Please contact a councilmember if you need to, but be mature about it and don't whine -simply let them know about an issue or ask if you can discuss something with them.
• No lying, no cheating, no scamming, no posting of outside links, no begging, no being mean, or you will find yourself demuppeted before you can say "Bork! Bork! Bork!"

Do you have to read a lot to be in this guild?

Gosh no, whatever your pet's reading level is you're welcome to jon us! We all read at different paces and with different goals in mind. If you're just starting to read to your pet and feel like you're behind, don't! We all started with one book, and over time even the slowest readers build up quite a library of books read :)

Do you give away free books or newbie packs?

We are unable to give away anything, however if you become at least a Super Muppet you may participate in Spankys book trades!

What's a "Snag Alert!"?

Whenever a guild member finds a book in user shops, trades, or auctions they will make a Snag Alert! on the guild board listing the shop, title, price, and often how big a discount it is. The post will be erased if it's noticed that the snag is no longer available.

Are Spankys members rich?

No, most of us are perpetually poor since we spend so many np on books :(
