Appearance
Height: Daenixx is pretty tall for his age, standing at around 6"2. He loves the fact he towers over people and he certainly has a thing for people who have to stand on tip-toes to reach him. He also likes the fact it makes his stand out. He feels like he has the up most control over people and can certainly shout orders from all the way up there.
Weight: Being so tall, Daenixx has found himself rather lanky, his body seems all out of proportion and he doesn't enjoy the fact people can see when his bones stick out. He's not too fussed about his weight, though, and doesn't really do anything about it. He feels the fact he has feathers fills him out a little and that's okay.
Overall Body: Daenixx takes pride in the shape of his body. Though not on the scales, he does go to the gym as often as he can and likes to stick to a strict healthy eating diet to keep himself in shape. He adores the reactions he gets when he takes off his shirt and people see him. Just because he's a little self-centred, at least he has something to be self-centred about. He always makes sure his feathers are clean and straight and has taken to plucking out any that look a little different.
Eyes: Daenixx's eyes are plain yellow, matching his feathers. They don't change colour, they don't glint in the right light and they certainly don't sparkle. He always wished his eyes were green and, when he was fifteen, he bought those pathetic contacts that change the colour of your eyes. No one noticed the difference, and after the pain it had caused him he never tried it again.
Plumage: Being a yellow Pteri, Daenixx's feathers are...well, yellow. They are always kept clean though and he is waiting on the day when he had enough money to paint them a different colour. But his skittish mind keeps changing and he doesn't really know what colour he wants to be just yet.
Overall Face: Daenixx's face is long and almost vulture like. His bill is curved and dark, compared to others of his species. He has a hideous scar running down his bill which he covers up with a skull mask. He doesn't mind how he looks when he knows he;s covered up, but when he's in bed he always worries someone will see his scarred face and so he has taken to locking himself away at night. Just to be safe.
Piercings: Sadly, as he is part bird, there aren't a lot of places to have piercings. There are far too many feathers getting in the way. But, if given the chance, he would be covered in them.
Tattoos: Again the feather issue makes it hard for Daenixx to have tattoos, but he has just about managed it. Around his left leg he has what can only be described as a tag with the code 3103DAET.
Unusual: Daenixx has a band on the sole of his foot which looks like something from Dr Sloth. But he doesn't talk about it...much. He also has his skull mask which he hardly ever removes. It covers up a scar he got from a battle with the neopians, which he hates to talk about. Well, only because they lost. If they had won he would be boasting about it all day long.
Personal Style: Daenixx has always described his look as an elegant gentleman. He's rarely seen in public without a proper shirt on, and usually a tie to accompany it. A fitted blazer is next with a pair of very smart trousers. He usually wears suits, but had never been seen in shoes. Mostly because his talons don't fit in them.
Personality
Arrogant:
Smart:Many people underestimate the extent of Daenixx's mind, when in actuality, he is very insightful. He has a very clear perception of the things he deals with, especially when he's conning people. He, as many would say can turn his smart on or off and he uses that to his advantage. He doesn't rub his overshadowed intelligence in a person's face, not because he finds it wrong, but because people would know right away that he's messing with them and that he'll use what he knows and what he studies to his advantage. On many occasions, he's found himself reading psychology books, and such. That's also another thing people don't know about him. He reads up on a lot of things and plans for the future. So if something goes wrong, he knows how to get out of it.
Aggressive:As far as he knows, he's been aggressive since the day he was born. He's always lashing out at people and he doesn't even have to have a reason for calling them out about something he noticed. He doesn't like when things don't go his way, so that's probably where a lot of his aggression comes from towards people. He tries to calm it down with smashing things, but normally, it's towards people that he takes his aggression out on. His aggression could also come from the fact that he rarely sleeps and tends to stress out. Being a con-man puts him in the hot seat because there are always those people that do understand his intentions.
Cunning:Daenixx is like a Hissi. He can slither around small corners, get himself out of things and still manage to get what he'd wanted to obtain. He can convince anyone of a falsehood he concocted from his head. He's highly deceptive without even trying at all. At this point, he doesn't do it by accident. More so he uses it as a weapon. You could call him a magician of deceit. He talks to people and gives them this illusion of getting what they need for them and ends up taking what he wants from them and explaining that he never promised them what they wanted. He's like an unread contract. If you don't carefully read between his lines, you won't see him turning you over, and he's use to being underestimated.
Confident:Daenixx feels that he can step on anyone's face and that he'll get away with. He also feels as if he's better than anyone and everyone who underestimates him and that he'll still come out unscathed. He has the carefree sort of stance, and the calm demeanor that only comes to his age not nearly as much as it should. Dae is crazy in his confidence and self assurance, if that makes sense. He knows what he does; he doesn't try to sugar coat his intentions by telling himself that he's trying to make life easier for others. He knows he's conning people. He knows he's pretty much evil and he let's people know that, even if he's made out to be a witch for it.
Loud: He's smart, cunning and confident, but along with that he has to be observant and tell everyone about it. He studies just about everything, from the amount of times a person blinked while talking, to the color of a person's pants. Well, he isn't that observant, but he's a lot more observant than the next person. He takes in everything; he's like a sponge, like when a baby is three or four and they hear a bad word for the first time and repeat it. He soaks it all up and throws it right back in your face and he isn't secretive about it.
Guarded: Although his outlandish appearance may give you an idea of someone who is completely confident and self-assured, there's a large part of him that is a completely terrified little chick. He hates talking about his childhood and never brings it up unless completely necessary. He's always sure of something before he does it and although it may seem like he acts on impulse, each move is carefully planned out so no mistakes are made.
Controlling: Probably his worst trait. Unless you know him more than a friend, Daenixx is controlling and he knows he has the power to determine most social outcomes. He is manipulative to the max and only just manages to stay far enough away so that when things get messy he isn't to blame.
Dishonest: Although Daenixx pretends to pride himself on his honesty, he's pretty bad when it comes to the truth. He likes twisting people's words and generally makes a mess of everything. He's not scared to make up stories either and always makes sure he knows the latest gossip to keep up with the times.
Imaginative: One word that can really describe him. He loves to imagine. Often he would be found sitting under a tree or something when he didn't have another friend around him, and he'd imagine his own made up world and people. He loved to not live in reality, and would rather live in some dream world in some cases. His friends sometimes said he needed to come back to reality, and he'd only shrug it off. He preferred imagination. Besides, if he hadn't imagined things he would still be stuck in a cage!
