Hi!Hi! You must be here because you are interested in adopting one of my pets. Thats great because they all need new homes and they all hope you can be the one to do that for them! My name is Jamie and you can address me as such. There are some rules to adopting my pets but don't be scared! They're just to make the adoption process easier for the both of us. Before you go on, just in case you are new to all of this, here are some terms I will use.
UFA-up for adoption UPDATE 1/26/09: Lustiah's new owner will be contacted either today or tomorrow, depending. Lakailaa has been adopted out, thus their listings have been removed.
The PetsHere is where you can find all of the pets I have up for adoption.Click on their pictures to go to their lookups.Bori has been zapped desert and is looking for a forever home. He's been UFA many times but with no luck. Dustixks was UFA a very long time ago, and I thought that I had found the perfect owner for him! However, she never got around to getting back to me, and I'm sure she has forgotten about him by now. But Dusty is back and ready to be adopted by someone who will treat him right. I continued zapping him and now he's robot! DEADLINE IS MARCH 16TH. Chloesia was zapped rainbow after only a few days under the ray! She has been in my care for a long time and it's time that she find her forever home! DEADLINE IS MARCH 24TH.
Some Things You Should KnowThere are a few things you definitely should know especially if you are new to the adoption process.1.I am in no way selling my pets-Accepting payment for pets is STRICTLY AGAINST NEOPETS RULES. That means do not offer me anything for my pets. The only money you will NEED is the pound fee, and any extra money you spend on the pet for welcome gifts or a petpet etc. is your business and not my responsibility. 2.Anytime you spend on an application is your time-If you are not chosen as the new owner, then do not write me ranting, "I spent [insert amount of time here] on this app, and you didn't even choose me!" I'm very sorry, but you must know that I cannot guarantee you will be chosen. 3.The pound is an unfair place-Once a pet is in the pound, it is up for grabs by ANYONE. I will do my best to ensure that we have a successful transfer, but there are pound sharks and they can and will grab the pet. The most I can do is tell you leave a copy of your app up, and if I think the transfer is very risky, I will take a screenie of the pet on my account to prove that it was supposed to go to you. Other than that and asking politely, I cannot do anything. 4.I will check up on my ex-fosters from time to time-This is really big and important to me. IF YOU KNOW YOU NO LONGER WANT MY PET OR IF YOU ARE LEAVING NEO, TELL ME AND I WILL TAKE HIM/HER BACK. This is extremely important to me as I spent a lot of time on my fosters making sure they got homes, and if you no longer want them, I can find a new home.
Rules! It's time for what you have been waiting for...The rules! They're not scary, just guidelines to make sure your app is as nice as possible!1. When you decide you want to adopt one of my fosters, before you send me the app, send a neomail to manny724 explaining you wish to adopt my pet. Put his/her name as the title of the neomail. If you send a neomail to any of my fostering accounts, I may get back to you, but it's not likely.*PEOPLE HAVE OBVIOUSLY NOT BEEN READING THE RULES AS I KEEP GETTING NEOMAILS ON MY SIDES! I'M GOING TO BE A LOT STRICTER ABOUT THIS IN THE FUTURE! 2. I accept both neomail and petpage apps. If you are sending a neomail app, please tell me in advance because there is no way you can fit an entire app into one neomail, and I will be confused if I see a bunch of neomails from you. Also, creativity is great! However, HTML isn't everything to me. I prefer good content, but do whatever you think is necessary.
3. Include for me in your app: 4. My fosters have names and genders. I would like you to remember them if possible. I don't mind if you give them nicknames. I like nicknames. 5. The account you want to adopt my pet on must be older than four months. TNT's rule. Sorry. Exceptions might be made. 6.If my pet has a petpet and you do not want it to come with the pet, that is fine. I do not mind, I don't really care . 7.Please no chatspeak. I only speak two languages, English and Spanish. Plus it's easier for me to understand if you write in proper English. And while I'm on the subject of language, if you do not speak English or it isn't your first language, PLEASE TELL ME! This way if I see bad English, I understand why. *I do speak okay Spanish* 8.Be friendly. I am very understanding of the application process, as i have gone through it before myself. It can be stressful, but be nice to me at least. Don't be afraid to ask me anything. I won't bite you. Girl Scout Honor. 9.Artwork is not necessary, but it is nice. Poems and stories and stuff like that will set you ahead of the competition. 10.Tell me if you wish to put my pet on a side. I might consider it if its an active side. HAVE FUN! Having fun with the application process will make it easier for both of us. Accept and Reject LettersIt is a lot of work to sit down and compose a personalized accept or reject letter, so here are premade ones I did to make it easier. I will add a few things, and tell you what was wrong, etc. In some special cases, if I feel you were trying but didn't quite make it, I will allow you to re-do the app.
