Hello and welcome, guest, to our recruitment page! We are most pleased you've taken interest in EKoN, and offer this page to give you a little information about us and about how you may go about joining EKoN. We're a close-knit neo-community, so we love to have people that we can all get along with, and who share similar goals and ideals...much like any guild. So yes, we have a few guidelines for those who wish to enter our hallowed halls!

The Enchanted Kingdom of Neopia will be public for a short time starting July 19th. These are the special rules for those members who do join while we are open to the public. These rules superceed all other rules for new members.

1.) If you do not make a post to introduce yourself when you join, you will be deleted!

2.) You must be active! Posting at least once a week or more is required unless you cannot be online_ at which point you will need to notify Juniper. If you fail to post, a warning neomail will be sent out and you will be given 2 days to rectify the situation. After that, you will be deleted.

3.) Everyone who joins is a temporary member for the first 3 weeks. After your 3-week trial with EKoN, we will either move you to a permanent member or remove you from the guild. If we decide to remove you, which is unlikely, you will receive a neomail stating the reasons for our decision to not have you stay with EKoN.

**** You may rejoin if you are deleted. If you break another rule, you will be forever banned from EKoN. Bans cannot be removed as per TNT so you will never be able to join again.

Well that depends on several things. We are actually pretty picky about who we let in the guild. Here are the GENERAL requirements listed below. (Note: Not all requirements MUST be met, mostly it depends on the person, and how EKoN's Council feels about them.)

EKoN is mostly a family guild, we welcome all types, from neohome fanatics to collectors, as long as we all get along and can work together to achieve common goals.

You are to send, Valiant Queen Juniper, an application. Your application can be in Neomail, Webmail, or Petpage form. She will look closely at how your application looks, is worded, and the length of it. This tells us how much effort you actually put into the application. The more effort that is put into the application, the better chance you will get into EKoN. We base this reasoning on "If much effort is put on an application, then much effort will be put into the guild," respectively!

Also, if you see any of us recruiting in a board, stay and chat a while. Sometimes we can just tell if a person is qualified WITHOUT an application. So if applications make you nervous just have a conversation with us on the board.

But don't let all this scare you away. Just send us what you can and be honest. The most important thing is that you want to be a part of our great guild and will enjoy your time with us.

Juniper will send you a Neomail stating that you are approved, and shortly following that will send you a guild invitation. If you do not receive a Neomail, then most likely you were not approved to join the guild. EKoN used to stand for Elite Knighthood of Neopia. King Jake is the creator and started the guild October 18th, 2005. He created it because he wanted a place where Chivalry, Kindness, and Understanding reigned supreme. He wanted a place where people could go to relax and escape other pressures. He wanted to create a place where members could get support and help in achieving their goals without all the negativity and drama of the regular boards. He wanted to create a family that would be there for each other in a time of need. He wanted to create a guild that was active and was around to care about others.

EKoN was mainly a Battledome guild, but we have become more of a place where great friends have become family. We have members that are still Battledomers, so please let us know if you enjoy that. Honestly, we have experiences in all aspects of Neopets. Some EKoNians have well-aged accounts and have been active on Neopets for a very long time, and are well versed in many aspects of Neopets.

Since things have changed as our King had to leave us, we are now Enchanted Kingdom of Neopia. All things still hold true for respect in the guild.

EKoN does have a donation shop. It follows all rules set forth by TNT. For more information, please visit the Notice Board Fund page. All of our Royal Council and Sub Council members are VERY honest and trustworthy, and would never think of cheating anyone.
