Unfortunately, working in a tavern on Krawk Island was both boring and badly-paid. One day she was reading an old book that spoke of ancient caves, built by pirates many years ago - a place where they could hide their loot, but unfortunately guarded by traps and monsters. Hannah couldn't wait - this was exactly the thing she'd been looking for. There are 26 levels in this game (six tutorials and twenty levels). You are controlling a Usul named Hannah. She can jump over three squares on the game board, and also jump on top of three stacked squares. There are five enemies you'll encounter in this game:      Controls: Use the left and right arrow keys to move. You can use the down arrow key to crawl and the up arrow key to look above you. Use the spacebar to jump. The six tutorials will guide you along the way, and cover many of the things you will face later on in the game. Tutorial One (Basic Training) Treasures: 19 Gem Crate Follow the path up to the right. When you get to the top, break all of the wooden crates (touch them), then fall down the gap. Fall down and collect the treasure chests. Go the the right. You'll have to crawl through at one point. Go up the ladder and to the left. You can jump up through the wooden platforms. Go right, jumping over gaps and collecting treasures as you go. If you hit the wooden crate above you, it will break and everything above it will come falling down. Continue on. Now, when you are at a really high peak, fall down the gap. See those boulders off to the right? Jump over the one on top and start walking left (you are pushing the boulder). Push it off past the ladder and down the ledge. Follow it down. When on top of the boulder, take a step to the left. You're in the land! This is called a secret area. These are usually used to hide gem crates from you. It appears as a solid piece of land, but you can walk right through it! So, start walking right. You'll see a crate with a green blob in the middle (a gem). Run into it, then head back left. Jump up on top of the platform and follow the green arrows left. Repeat the jumps you made earlier, but this time don't fall off the ledge (when on the peak). Grab the treasures on the right and go up the ladder. You'll need to jump to get to the door. Jump off the ladder and land on the ledge. Walk into the door. Level complete. Tutorial Two (Arrows) Treasures: 8 Gem Crate Hit the two arrow crates above you. These are just test arrows. Continue on and hit the next two arrows. Jump over the steel crates and hit the next arrow. Collect the treasures when they fall. Now continue on and hit the next arrow. Be ready to jump! Another one comes flying at you. You will lose a life if an arrow hits you. Go collect the four treasures to the right, then go into the secret area to your right (in the corner). You can tell if there is a secret area if you see slight holes in the land. Go get the gem crate and come back to the door. Level complete. Tutorial Three (Boulders) Treasures: 9 Gem Crate Go to the left, following the "messages" as you go. After you push the two boulders into the gap with the spikes, STOP. You have my permission to disobey the "messages." Go through and hit the arrow. DO NOT GO ON. You're not stuck. Walk up the wall of boulders and go into the secret area at the top. Keep going left and grab the gem crate. Grab the eight treasures on the platform and go to the door. Level complete. Tutorial Four: (Dynamite) Treasures: 11 Gem Crate Go to the right and hit the dynamite crate. Continue on over the steel crates. Hit the dynamite from below and move out of the way. Go down the opened gap and go into the secret area on the left (at the bottom of the gap). Go grab the gem and come back. Continue on to the right and up the ladder. Jump over the dynamite crate and hit it from the left. Go down the gap and continue to the right. Hit the arrow crate above you and keep on going. Climb the ladder and hit the next arrow crate. Continue left and hit the next crate. Grab the treasures and go to the door. Level complete. Tutorial Five (Water One) Treasures: 14 Gem Crate Go to the right and down into the water. Grab the treasures, but watch the row of bubbles on the bottom. If those run out, you'll lose a life. Go up the ladder and down the gap. Hit the arrow and swim back up. Continue to the right. Go down the next gap, grabbing treasures as you go. Stop for air in the air pocket at the bottom of the tunnel. Continue back up on the right. Go up the ladder and grab the treasures, but DO NOT GO TO THE DOOR. Instead, jump over it and go into the secret area. Go and grab the gem. If you fall, don't worry, just go through the tunnel again. Now you can go to the door. Level complete. Tutorial Six (Water Two) Treasures: 13 Grab the treasures and go to the right once the water is high enough. Climb and go across the gap. Go up and right. Look before you leap! Wait for the water. Grab the treasures and go to the door. Level complete. Level One Treasures: 18 Gem Crate Jump over the spikes on the left and go into the secret area to get the gem crate. Go up the ladder and to the left. Grab all the treasures in the area, being sure to have enough air and to dodge the Pirate Pteri. If he touches you, you lose a life. Continue on up, and grab all the rest of the treasures and head to the door. Level complete. Level Two Treasures: 11 Heart Crate Gem Crate Grab the treasures above you, then go back down into the water. Once you get to the second dip, you can go into the secret area and grab the gem (on the left wall in the dip). Go back out and grab the treasures on the right. Go up the platform and hit the arrow, making sure to get out of the way. Jump across and grab the treasure, then fall down into the water. Grab the treasures and break the crates. Go back up for air, then head back down again and past where the crates were. Grab the bonus life at the bottom and come back up. Go back up the platforms again and hit the arrow at the top. Then go back down into the water and head back towards where you started. Go up and to the right to the door. Level complete. Level Three Treasures: 12 Gem Crate Start heading up the ladder and grab the treasures on the right. Go back and up the ladder the rest of the way. When you get to the top, continue on right past the next ladder and crawl down the passage to the bottom. Wait for the water level to rise, then hit the arrow and get out of the way. There is an air pocket to the left if you need it. Then go up the path where the boulders just came from and head up the ladder. Go left and hit the arrow. Be careful of the Pirate Pteri. Another arrow has fallen to the left. Go and hit that. Go down and get the last treasure, then swim over the spikes and into the secret area (in the wall on the left). Go get the gem then swim back up to the door. Level complete. Level Four Treasures: 12 Gem Crate Go left and collect the treasures (being careful to dodge the Mynci). Hit the arrow on the far left wall. Go down and hit that arrow. Go to the right and up through the platform (watch out for that Mynci). Push the boulder until it is directly under the arrow and hit it. Go back to the right, collect the treasures, but don't go to the door. Go all the way back to the left and climb the wall on the right until you grab the gem. Now you can head back to the door. Level complete. Level Five Treasures: 9 Heart Crate Gem Crate Jump up the platforms until you reach the ladder, being careful not to run into the enemies. Jump off the ladder to the right (entirely optional) and bounce off the bonus life and into the secret area to grab the gem. Go back and continue on up to the top. Push that boulder off the edge and follow it all the way down. Keep pushing it off until it breaks the platform at the very bottom. Grab the treasures and head back on up to the door. Level complete. Level Six Treasures: 23 Gem Crate Follow the path to the right and down to hit the arrow. BE READY TO JUMP! Once the path is clear, jump up to where the crates just were, and fall into the water (being sure not to hit the skull). Hit the arrow in the water and watch out for the falling boulder. Grab the treasures and head back up for air. Then head back down and crawl through the passage to the left. Collect all the treasures on this side of the map and head back to the right. Go up to the door but not in it. Jump up the platforms above the door. Follow the path and grab the gem up above you. Once you fall, you are back where you started. Just follow the path back to the door. Level complete. Level Seven Treasures: 23 Follow the path and hit the arrow. Run quickly through before the steel crates come and block your path. Wait for the boulders to fall then go through the newly opened path. Go through the tunnel (remember to stop for air). Don't go in that secret area. There's no point. Keep on going. Hit the dynamite crate and get out of the way. Keep going and jump over the next crate of dynamite. Hit it to clear the path. Go through the new path and up the platform then over all those boulders. Collect those treasures below you, then go back up and left. Hit the arrow and go down. Now stand next to the stack of crates and the boulder. Run straight on through without stopping or slowing at all. You should break all the crates. Now you can push the boulder down and continue to the door. Level complete. Level Eight Treasures: 16 Heart Crate Gem Crate Jump over the boulder and push it into the spikes. Jump on the platform and hit the wooden crate above you. Hit the dynamite off to the left and go hit the arrow in the newly opened path. Now continue on to the right. Watch out for that Pirate Pteri! Climb up the ladder and collect all those treasures to your left. Now go into the secret area to the left to grab a bonus life. Just follow the path (jump over the gap). Now head back the way you came. Go up the ladder the rest of the way and go to the right. Jump over the boulder and get the treasure (be careful of the Mynci). Push the boulder off the edge and follow it down. Now leave it where it is and continue on. Hit the arrow off to the far right to open up the next path. Go back up to that boulder and push it down off the edge. Follow it down the new path and hit the arrow (be sure to move; the metal crates you stand on are about to fall). Jump down to the bottom. Hit the dynamite crate off to the far right, then grab treasures and hit dynamite crates that are open until you can no longer. Go up the path to the left and down the ladder. Break all wooden crates that you can in the big pileup at the bottom. Remember to get air when you need it. On the way back up, go in the secret area in the left wall right where the walls widen. Hit the arrow and wait in the air pocket for the dynamite to explode. A gem will fall, and you should collect it. Head back to the main part of the map. Swim up and to the right, where you will see that a gap has been created in the huge pileup. You can now go get the last treasure. Now head to the right and to the door (watch out for the skull). Level complete. Level Nine Treasures: 20 Go to the left and hit the arrow. QUICKLY GO UP THE PLATFORMS. You can use the floating wooden crates to juice your jump to get across the gaps and to the ladder. You can move across the three ladders and onto the platform on the right. Hit the box above you then QUICKLY move out of the way. Go down and then up to the right. Collect the treasures then push the boulder down below you. Now wait on the ladder, then jump on top of the arrow crate then land in a DEEP pool of water to the left. Swim on down to collect the treasure. The gem on this level can't be collected, so don't go into the secret area. Go back up, carefully swim over the spikes, then go right to the door. Level complete. Level Ten Treasures: 18 Heart Crate Gem Crate Go down the ladder and collect the treasures. Now go back on up all of the ladders until you reach the top. Trigger the arrow on the left and wait until the boulders fall. Jump onto the boulders and break the crates above you until you grab the bonus life. Continue on to the left until you reach the floating dynamite crate. Hit it from below then quickly get out of the way (but NOT ONTO THE TERRAIN). You need to remain on the dynamite, and jump over it so you will miss the explosion below you. Fall to the left and under where the dynamite just was. Hit the arrow to the left, and now, the race is on. Go up and to the left, collecting treasure as you go. You are safe once you reach the ladder. Climb the ladders and go to the right. Hit the next arrow and be prepared to run. DON'T go into the door once you're done running. Jump down to the left, but don't go past the floating wooden platform. Look down below you and fall down the gap that you see. Ignore the boulder. Go left and up the ladder to collect the gem. Now continue on back and now you can push the boulder to the right. DON'T WASTE TIME. Break the crates and climb the ladders. Follow the path you took earlier, but DO NOT PUSH THAT LOOSE BOULDER TO THE LEFT. Your path will be blocked. Jump over it and continue on up and to the right until you reach the door. Level complete. Level Eleven Treasures: 33 Heart Crate Gem Crate Jump onto the platform above you and push the boulder off the left edge. Now start pushing it to the left again until it falls. Go down and to the left. Hit the arrow and move right to get out of the way. Push the boulder left until it falls. Hit the arrow you see hanging above you. Follow the arrow and get the treasures that you can now get to. Now go back into the tunnel and climb the ladder with an arrow at the top. Hit it and come back down. Now go up the platforms to land back where you started. Go down the newly opened path and collect the treasures at the bottom. Now start heading back left (towards the ladder) and swim over to the next ladder. Climb it and jump across to the next one on the left then down the gap. Hit the arrow on the left and move out of the way. Climb the fallen crates to reach the ladder. Keep following the path to the left release the arrow above you, then jump onto it when it falls. Retrace your footsteps on the ladders to get to the pool. Now dive down to the right. Push the loose boulders to the left (both of them) and crawl into the secret area on the far left wall to get the gem crate. Follow the secret area down to the next section. Grab the treasures there, then push the boulder (optional) down to break the platforms, leaving the heart crate open. Now go through the spike path to the right and head on up to the top (be fast but careful to have enough air). Now go up and to the right up the ladder and to the door. Level complete. Level Twelve Treasures: 15 Gem Crate Hit the arrows in the order indicated below. Be sure to catch all treasures as soon as they are available.  Once you've collected all the treasures, fall into the hole just to the right of the door and go into the secret area to get the gem. Now go back up and to the door. Level complete. Level Thirteen Treasures: 23 Heart Crate Gem Crate Go up and to the left before you reach the ladder to grab the treasures. Now go up the first ladder and grab the treasure off to the right. Now head back and up the next ladder to grab the treasure off to the right. Continue up and to the left. When you reach the ladder, go on past it to grab the treasures before continuing on. Go up the next ladder, but when you reach a three way split, take the two lower paths before going up the next ladder. Now push the boulder off to the right so you can get the four treasures down there. Head back on up and take the path to the left. Don't go down to get the last four treasures yet. Go up to the door and jump past it (don't touch that boulder!). Go in the secret area and head to the right to break the arrow. This will release the gem crate. Now head back left and fall down to collect the last four treasures. To get the bonus life, push the loose boulder by the door left and off the edge. Follow it down and push it left again. Go down the passage and get the bonus life. Then head back up to the door when you can. Level complete. Level Fourteen Treasures: 10 Gem Crate Go down and to the left. Watch out for the ghost, and push the three boulders all the way to the left. Hit the crate above you, but don't let the arrow land on you! Hit the fallen arrow then head back up the ladder. Go hit the dynamite crate off to the right. Now climb the pile and grab the treasure on top. Continue to the right to hit the arrow above you. Remember to look out! Hit the arrow that falls and QUICKLY go to the right. Grab the treasures as fast as you can then either duck into the hole a ways off to the left or jump over the arrows (jump into the space above). Once all is clear, head on to the right and grab the gem crate. Now head all the way back left and up to the door to exit. Level complete. Level Fifteen Treasures: 19 Gem Crate Go down the ladder to the left and jump onto the platform. Trigger the arrow then QUICKLY head back up the ladder and to the right. Stop when you see two arrows right next to each other. As soon as they go off, jump ACROSS the gap before the boulders fall. Follow the boulders down and go to the left. Jump over the spikes and hit the arrow, then move back right. Follow the fallen boulders down into the water. There's a secret area in the wall on the left. Go into it to get the gem crate. Be quick! There's no time to lose! Return back to the main map and swim right and up. Hit the arrow and QUICKLY get onto the ladder and climb it before it blows up. Hit the arrow to the right and follow it, QUICKLY grab the treasures then go back up left to QUICKLY climb the ladder before it blows up. Jump off to the left once you reach the top. Be careful of those robots on the platform! Grab the treasures then go left and drop down. Drop down again and go on past the metal crates. Keep on going down to collect the treasures on the right without setting off the arrow below. Now, AS FAST AS YOU CAN, hit the arrow below and QUICKLY run left to climb the ladder before it blows up. Remember to not get hit by the arrow that triggers the dynamite. Follow the path to the right, grab the treasures and go to the door. Level complete. Level Sixteen Treasures: 26 Gem Crate Go left to collect the treasures then climb the ladder. Continue on to the right once you reach the top and up the next ladder. Grab the treasures above you and hit the arrow. Time for another race! Quickly fall down the gap and keep going, grabbing treasures as you go. Don't stop until everything has calmed down. But DON'T go to the door yet! Wait at the bottom of TNT mountain in the corner. You should be a level above the door. REMEMBER not to grab the treasures yet! Everything is about to come falling down on them. Once all has stopped, hit the dynamite crates. Work your way left and across the gap to grab the gem. Hit the arrow crate above you to clear a path. Now head back and go to the door. Level complete. Level Seventeen Treasures: 37 Gem Crate Break ALL of the crates THEN hit the arrow. Wait for the dynamite to explode, then head on up and to the left. There are two sets of four treasures above you, so be sure to grab those. Then when you get to the spikes, go grab the next set on the left. Head back on up, grabbing yet another set of treasures off to the left before continuing on up. Now grab the set to the RIGHT, then break the arrow (being careful to avoid the falling boulders. Grab the treasures to the left, then continue on to grab the ones on the right. Now start heading right to the door. When you get there, swim over the door into the secret area to get the gem, then head into the exit door. Level complete. Level Eighteen Treasures: 25 Gem Crate Go down the ladder and grab the treasures, but watch out for BOTH of the Pirate Pteri! Go back up and continue to follow the path to the right. Remember to go down the path to the right to grab the treasure chest before continuing up the ladder. Get the treasures on both sides before going up. Now, you've invaded enemy territory. Wait for the skull to be off to the left wall, then head right. Push the boulder laying on the platform to the LEFT (NOT THE RIGHT), and follow it down. Now push both boulders to the right off the ledge. However, you don't need to follow them down yet--you're still missing treasures! Go up the ladder above the platform stack and jump over the gap at the top. Hit the dynamite, but JUMP OVER the boulder. Hit the arrow below then collect the treasures. However, you can't jump back up to the right. So, go into the secret area in the left wall to grab the gem. Follow the path back down, then retrace your footsteps. The door is down where the boulders fell earlier (below enemy territory). Level complete. Level Nineteen Treasures: 70 Gem Crate *NOTE: This would be a good time to use all restarts you have. It will get you a lot of points. Grab all the treasures on the left, but DON'T TOUCH THE BOULDERS! Push them down one at a time (after you have all eight treasures) to the right to lay them down nice and calm like shown below.  Now head right to grab all those treasures. Ignore the lone boulder. You need to focus on the two above you. Push the left boulder off the ledge to the left. Follow it down and push it to the right to break the first platform. Now go back up and push the other boulder to the LEFT, and break the second platform. You can now go down the path. Go to the right. Run under the boulders N-blocked-. Don't pause for a break or you will be crushed. Go back over the boulders to the left. Grab all those treasures above you. Go down the ladder on your left then jump up all the wooden platforms (grab treasures as you go up). Before you hit the arrow, read this part. When you hit the arrow, move as far right as possible. After the boulder is clear (don't wait too long!), jump back to the left as far as you can to dodge the next boulders. Go follow the path into the chamber. Follow my instructions exactly (just in case I made a screenie).  Push the first boulder off to the right. Follow it down, and push it EXACTLY five spaces to the right. Now go up and push the second one off to the right (leave it alone). Go push the third one to the LEFT. You can go down and grab a treasure. Now go back on up to the top and push number four to the left. Push this one EXACTLY two spaces to the right. Now push the fifth one to the left and leave it alone. Now push the sixth one to the left and leave it alone. Now go all the way up and push the seventh and final boulder to the right. Grab all the treasures in the pits below. You should now have 53 out of 70 treasure chests. Now you can go down the hole on the far left (where the path goes on), grabbing treasures and stopping at the arrow. This is the part where you grab the gem crate. Hit the arrow. As SOON as the arrow comes up, go down the gap and to the right to avoid the arrows. You're not done here! Now go up and to the right to hit the arrow. Go down and grab the treasures in the pit as well as the gem, then head QUICKLY left to the door. Level complete. Level Twenty Treasures: 17 Gem Crate Drop down to hit the arrow. The race is on! You won't get a single break from now until you reach the exit. Head QUICKLY up the wooden platforms, grabbing treasures as you go. When you reach the part with the spikes, wait for a safe path (not a full path, enough to keep going) so you can run across. Be careful; MORE ARE COMING! This next part is difficult. As soon as a boulder passes, fall across onto the next ledge with a treasure. Go to the left and wait for the dynamite to explode. Quickly go across the platform before boulders fall. Go down and WAIT by the door until the boulders have stopped falling. Go down until you are on top of the one on the far left. There is a secret area in that wall! Go through it and to the left. Keep following the path. When you reach the gem, TURN BACK and go back the way you came to the door to complete Hannah and the Pirate Caves! Level/Game complete. Congratulations on completing the game!
