A cookie is a small, flat-baked treat, usually containing fat, flour, eggs and sugar. In most English-speaking countries outside North America, the most common word for this is biscuit; in many regions both terms are used, while in others the two words have different meaning. In the United Kingdom, a cookie is referred to as a baked biscuit most commonly containing chocolate chips.
A cupcake is a small cake designed to serve one person, frequently baked in a small, thin paper or aluminum cup. As with larger cakes, frosting and other cake decorations, such as sprinkles, are common on cupcakes. A standard cupcake uses the same basic ingredients as standard-sized cakes: butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. Because their small size is more efficient for heat conduction, cupcakes bake much faster than layer cakes.
A pancake is a thin, flat, round cake prepared from a batter and cooked on a hot griddle or frying pan. Most pancakes are quick breads; some use a yeast-raised or fermented batter. Most pancakes are cooked one side on a griddle and flipped partway through to cook the other side. Depending on the region, pancakes may be served at any time, with a variety of toppings or fillings including jam, chocolate chips, fruit, syrup or meat.
Shortcake is typically made with flour, sugar, baking powder or soda, salt, butter, milk or cream, and sometimes eggs. The dry ingredients are blended, and then the butter is cut in and mixed (or "combined") until the mixture resembles cornmeal. The liquid ingredients are then mixed in just until moistened, resulting in a wet batter. The batter is then dropped in spoonfuls onto a baking sheet or poured into a cake form, and baked until set.
6,000 feet above Neopia sits a cloud—a gigantic cloud stretching tens of miles in each direction. Resting on the cloud is a vast city that has been home to the Faeries of Neopia for as long as anybody can remember... Faerieland! A giant castle in the sky, full of games, puzzles, and faeries galore.
Each year, the Faerie Festival is held in a new place, depending on what type of faerie the hostess is. A few years back, Psellia hosted the festival upon a cloud in the sky. Though the Faerie Festival is held in a different spot each year, one thing always remains the same: it's never boring - the fire faeries make sure of that.
The Grey Faerie said nothing. She kept her eyes low and to the ground, so she would not have to look at her captor. The shadow laughed again and walked away.
The day crawled by, scorching sun burning down on her, without even a blanket to shade herself from the heat. The little water she got from the rain was already dried up.

I never promised you a happy ending.
You never said that you wouldn't make me cry,
But summer love will keep us warm,
Long after our autumn goodbye."
Palm trees, ocean breeze, salty air, sun kissed hair.
That endless summer, take me there.♥"
