Welcome to Bucket of Bolts, a directory for all robot neopets. I'm Alley, the same person who created Gorgeous Gelerts. My aim is give all robots the chance they deserve to shine, so why not take a moment to look around? I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The rules are simple. If you wish to list your neopet, all you have to do is neomail me the name and species of your pet. I'll take it from there!

Don't bother the owners of the pets listed in this directory, please! These pets are not UFT/UFA, and it's both rude and annoying (on the owner's part) to ask!

Monthly Updates

May 13, 2012:

I'm slightly teeved that I wasn't notified about being listing in other sites. I was going to ask until I saw my sites already listed. I added their button nonetheless, but notification would have nice! I don't bite! I don't exactly care if you list me without my permission, but if you do, I'd like a neomail telling that you did so I can link you back and it doesn't come as a total surprise! But at any rate, I'll deal with it.

I cleared out some dead affies/listers. As long as they still had content on it, I kept it in the Sitely section.

I also plan on doing a pet sweep whenever I have the time and my computer is cooperating. I hope this can turn that in a monthly thing!

**I'm currently going on a little hiatus until I have time to actually run my sites! I'm still be on neo when I can be, put for the most part, my attention will not be geared towards my sites! I'll still list pets if I can get to them, however!**

Get a Robot!

You want a robot neopet? They're not exactly ease to get, considering there's no paint brush! However, there are always a few ways!

The Robotification Zappermajig

The One-Use Robotification Zappermajig was a plot prize at for the Return of Dr.Sloth plot. If you haven't spent your points, you can check them out here.

The Lab Ray

If you have access to the lab ray, you have the chance to get a robot zap. This is how Bluto turned Robot and I believe it's probably the most common way to get a robot.

The Pound

Robots can be found in the pound just like any other pet. The problem is, they will not have their casing if they're pounded. You'll just have the insides. Transferring the robot will allow to keep your casings, so you could always ask if someone has a spare set.

FAQ

Can I add my robot to your directory?
You don't need permission, just do it.

Is there a limit to how many robots I can list?
Nope! It'll be a pain in the rear to list them all, but I'll list every single robot you have.

My friends are holding some of my robots. Is that alright?
I don't see a problem as long as it's ultimately yours and you're not adding random robots.

Will people ask if my robot is UFT if they're listed here?
A directory is for permanent robots, and they should realize that. They shouldn't ask you, but I can't guarantee anything.

My robot is uncased! Is that alright?
Completely! My robot isn't wearing his casing either, so I won't make anyone else having casings.

So-and-So doesn't look like they listed -petname- in your directory!
I realize this. Between updating both of my directories, I've come across a lot of people who traded for pets, only to find that they were already listed in my directory. As much as I would like it, people are going to forget this exists and trade anyway. Instead of causing myself a big headache, I would rather not remove these pets unless they've clearly moved owners (as in someone under 13 gets them). It just saves me that trouble of trying to find out if a pet was traded or moved to a side. :/

Finding URLS

When I list a pet, I put a small image of the pet that is linked to the lookup and you can hover over the image to find the name. If you're listing only or two pets, it would help a lot if you were to send the URL as well! Here's how to find it:

Go to the lookup that the pet is located on
Right click the image of your pet and click on Copy Image Location (or something along the lines depending on the browser)

Easy, right? The URL will find will look at little like this:

http://pets.neopets.com/cpn/Bluto123neo/1/2.png

The important part of the url is the bolded section. The first number is the pet's emotion (1 is happy, 2 is sad, etc.) and the second number determines the size of the image. The 1/2 means that this the full sized happy image. To make the size that I need, you just have to change the alst number is that it looks like this:

And there you have it! Again, this is not required, and by no means do I expect you to send the URL if you have over 10 pets! No, no, no! It would just be helpful if you had one or two pets.

Link Sweeping

These are pets we are talking about, and a lot can happen to one pet. Everyday, pets get pounded, adopted, frozen, zapped or suffer from unfortunate (but random) events. The only way I know about these is to click on each individual image and check on the status of the pet. This can take awhile all by myself!

It would help a lot that you tell me when you see a pet that is no long a robot or is in the category (if you see a Cybunny in the Chia section for example). You can also let me know if you see a pet that has been frozen so I can replace its image.
