Okay, so you want to hear my story then? Well good! If not you can move on ahead because it's not a very....fun story sometimes. I don't really remember what happened before I was this me now anyway. Hmm? There was a me before this? Oh yes there was! I don't recall much of anything, you see, except for this little fuzzy picture of my brother in my head..His name was Kouhaku. But that's it—don't remember where I'm from, what I liked to do, or who I knew. But that's okay because I've got new hobbies and new friends and lots of new family that I'll never, ever, never leave! I'm sorry. I've gone off on a tangent again, hmm? You just tell me if it happens again—sometimes I get sidetracked.
It was a long LONG time ago when I woke up in this big-creepy-dark-place filled with all sorts of odd machines and strange smells. I was sitting on something as cold as ice and I could hardly tell up from down. The floor and the ceiling looked like the same thing: this strange mirror-substance. What was even
weirder was that there was this really strange thing looking back at me from the floor. It kinda looked familiar but there were these strange white tattoos all over it and big blades sticking out of the back that looked like wings. Wings! Blades? What was this strange thing? I tried to say hello, but as I opened my mouth to speak, she did too.
I was that weird thing.
I had those wings and the strange tattoos imbedded into my skin. Something didn't feel right.
I looked around the room and saw lots of cages in the big-creepy-dark-place. Red eyes were glowing from the darkness and staring straight back at me. Some of the eyes made loud, scary noises; others just cried
let me out! Let me out! A voice in particular caught my attention-that of a large dog-looking thing with huuuuge teeth. He was chained to the bottom of a cage and his girth filled the entire metal box. He looked so unhappy in it, so I tried to stand up and move over to him. But silly me—apparently I hadn't stood up in a long time, so I'd forgotten how my legs worked! So as I got up to say I'd help him out, I fell to the ground with a THUMP! The big dog laughed.
You best not worry about learning how to move around with that body. You're as good as TRASH anyway! But I'm not Trash," I said, attempting to get myself up off of the ground. "I'm Lue...Who are you? Why are you in that cage?
The same reason that all of us are here...the same reason that You were made. You're lucky...getting to leave this place. If only death could come so swiftly for the likes of us!
Death...?
As I tried to drag myself closer to him in the big-creepy-dark-place, I heard the slamming of a door behind me. Lots of loud, angry voices filled the big-creepy-dark-place and men in white coats came at me from everywhere. I don't remember much after that, but I know that I was trying to get away. The big dog was barking madly, white stuff coming out of his mouth as the men in white got closer and closer.
FAILURE. 219 FAILURE.(I don't remember what they sounded like, but it wasn't very nice).
They had mean, angry faces and were looking right at me! Who was this 219 they were talking about? I was Lue! I scooted back further and suddenly felt this sharp pain in my back, like something stabbing and ripping at me followed by this red stuff...
Next thing I knew it was rainy and very, very cold. I was out of the big-creepy-dark-place and there were no men in white to be found. But the red stuff was still there and I felt so very, very tired. The rain was making me sleepy, but as I moved to turn over to get more comfortable, my claw scraped loudly against something beneath me. I realized I was laying on something solid..something gray...something rocky. I had been laying on a boulder this entire time. For a long time the rain fell. I was quiet. The rock was quiet. It didn't yell at me, it didn't try and run away, it wasn't calling me strange names like "219" or talking to me about death. It just sat there in the rain with me....I didn't remember any of my real life before this happened, before I met Mr. Rock.

I had no where to go to or no where that I even
wanted to go to. So I decided to stay there with Mr. Rock and I've been here ever since. I've met lots of people over the years but no one that's stayed with me like Mr. Rock, Jimmy, and all the others. I love them SOOOO much! And I know that they love me too! If you listen really closely, I'll bet you can hear him say so—If you're lucky they might even sing for you! We can sing together next time, okay? It's much more fun to be together and have fun then thinking about things that happened a long time ago, right?~~

Oh oh! Something else that happened after I escaped from the big-creepy-dark-place. While I was out on my island one day, this little human girl came out of no where and said that she was visiting with her family. She would come out every day to Mr. Rock and we'd play in the tall grasses and swim in the warm oceans-she was SO much fun and one of my very first friends since I found myself with my rocky buddies. It was sad, then, when the day came that she had to leave the island and return home. She and I both wished we could spend forever with one-another playing and enjoying the sun. On the day that she left, she invited me over to her cabin and gave me THIS necklace that I wear
all the time. It's a little blue and white flame with just a simple-black string. She said that she made it herself! Isn't she talented?
She's a little older now and will often come and visit me on her own, though it's not as frequent as it use to be. Still, I have this necklace to remember her by until her next visit. Maybe she'll bring some of my other 'family' next time? Wouldn't that be fun, Mr. Rock~?
