THIS PAGE WAS MADE 12/14/2009 WHEN THE WORMS RANDOMLY APPEARED IN MOLTRA AND EVERYONE STARTED FLAILING AROUND LIKE CRAZY PEOPLE!!!
This page is currently being constantly update as I get items/info etc from the HC..so bear with me...

To start off the Worm catching You need to get yourself a Lamp So head over to : Lampwyck's Lights Fantastic. Getting the Lamp is a Random Event! (Depending on the amount of Lag neopets is experiencing the event might not show up) If you haven't gotten the even after 5-10 refreshes check you inventory- it might already be in there

NOW GO COLLECT SOME WORMIES!

In Moltra Caves you Will Find the :

Yellow,BlackPurplePink and Blue worms.(THE "PURPLE" WORM BY THE PETPETORIUM IS THE BLACK WORM)

In Moltra City you will find :

The RedGreenOrangeWhite and Rainbow worms.

you do so buy returning to Moltra and clicking on them!
The position of the worms will change once in a while, so you might have to click a few times before you actually get one!

When you get lucky:

Be sure to collect all 10 colors!

Once you get all 10 worms ( You cannot add them to your lantern until you have all 10 collected!!)
Open the lantern via your inventory and the last option on it will be "fill with worms., go to your inventory and place them all into your Lamp.
Afterward go to the Dark Cave then it will be lighted, ~~next go to the magma pool and you can paint you pet from an option menu!~~ (NOTE: THE MAGMA POOL AND THE WORMS ARE NOT RELATED)

AHHHHH WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!?!? RUN AWAY!!! no just kidding don't..just keep looking around eventually you will run into the Red Moltite! ^_^

Once you find the red moltite in the dark caves, bring your lantern back to lampwick. (It doesn't work anyways) You will then get a "Friendly Glowing Lantern (wearable)" as an item.
Lampwick mentions that he will nurse the worms back to health and to come back tomorrow, so I'm guessing we will have to find the worms again tomorrow and go back down the caves.

If you take your Red Moltite, Shiny Obsidian, & Scrap Metal and Stone to Tangor's Workshop, you will create the Albot petpet.

F.A.Q.
I did everything why can't I paint my pet Magma?
The Worm Plot and the Magma Pool are not connected. They don't relate in anyway, getting to paint your pet magma is believe to be a random event!
Can I do this on my side account?
No. you receive not one but two items while completing the quest.
What does the Moltite do?
Helps you create petpets!!!!
Can I collect the worms more then once?
Yes you can once you get all 10 you can start all over again the next day to get more moltite. Are the worms found at certain times?
This has been an ongoing question, so far it's been concluded that the times are random.
