News Rules 'N' Info Fee Sand Ad Stats Banners Members Weeks Table

** IMPORTANT NOTE; Please Read **

~~~ Just wanted to post a message to bring an issue that has arose about our Ads Posting Placement. Our Ad has had a Target Area of position 5 or better on page one of the NB, sence we started the Ad. This past month our Ad has been placing in the 6th to 9th position, as there have been several New Ads on the NB as of late. If they continue to post regulary we may have to concider upping the Ad fee to place higher on the NB. Just wanted to put that out there for everyone to start concidering. Right now there are 6 Ads all posting in the 1,200,000np range or better. This means everyone would have to start pay 80k just to match this posting level. That is a min 30k jump to bring us up to this amount. For May i,m going to keep watch and see if the Ads keep up and what not, i will keep everyone posted with weekly updates added below this paragraph. If they due, in June we will have to concider putting up the Ad fee to the members for a vote. I,d love to here any thoughts that any of you may have on this issue, Please feel free to neomail me with any input you may want to share on or about ithis issue, i'd be glad to here any suggestions or comments any of you may have in regards to this. UPDATE; NEOMAIL FEEDBACK - I have recieved several neomails so far from ad members, sence i 1st posted the above paragraph. Some of you have neomailed to say you will pay any added nps required to bring the ad into a better placement. Some have mailed that they only want to pay more if really needed and another way can not be found. I have recieved a few suggestions for the ad as well. Although any major changes to the ad will need to be run by mall mamagement 1st and a whole bunch of other behind the scenes stuff like that, i thought i'd still share any major change suggestions with you as well. So some of the suggestions so far are to possable add more ads on different posting days. ie; mon, wed, fri ads. Or offer ads of different posting amounts. ie; 1mill, 2mill, as well as keep the 750k one and add in more for 1 - 2mill. Another suggestion is to change the banner and add in more catagories by breaking up some of the existing ones, so that more users can be added to keep the fee the same (or just slightly increase it). An allow us to post for higher. ie; making petpet and petpetpet/supplies 2 different catagories, making magic and meds 2 different catagories, making neohome and neogarden 2 different catagories, making foods and drinks 2 different catagories and so on and so forth to create 20 catagories on the banner. Adding seperate spaces for the 6 faerie spots has been sugested as well. The last suggestion for this round of neomails is to pay a higher weekly fee than we need and hold back the extra nps for use on the weeks we need to have more nps to post in our target top 5. ie; if the fee is 50k everyone pays 60k with the 10k kept in reserve each week till its needed to be used to post higher. I realize that some of these ideas/suggestions may or may not work or even be workable in regards to the ad. But i thought you all should know what the other members of the ad are suggesting to me. UPDATE; WEEK 1 RESULTS - So far i have been watching the ad placement from the time i posted it on Mon the 7th to Mon the 14th. We landed 3rd when the ad was posted. On Tues we were still 3rd, with 2 - 2mill ads above us. On Wed we were 5th, now with 3 - 2mill ads above us and another for 750k+ to place it just above ours. On Thurs, Fri & Sat we were still 5th with no change at all. On Sun we were 7th, now with, 1 - 4mill ad, 2 - 2mill+ ads, 2 - 2mill ads, and the 750k+ ad all above us. On Mon we were still 7th right up till the ad dropped off. This ends the 1st week of my placement watch. This was week 1 with the cloud banner. Now we are into week 2, which posted last night with the purple faerie banner. I will update week 2's results when i update after the comming weekend on Tues after the next ad posts. - I'd like to say "THANK YOU!" to vanilla_paw for creating our current Ad banners for us.

- I'm keeping a private waiting list for users who want to be on our ad. Neomail me if your space isn't available and I can add you to my list. You can go on a list as a permanent space filler or as a temp filler if your category is open a week. Or you can be down for both. Neomail ziggypop302sguild if you wish to be added.

- I'm always looking for permanent fillers for any open spots on all of the 4 ad weeks, whether they be from the malls branches or non mall members. See list above for any openings.

- If you're not happy with your placements, please neomail me ASAP. So I can see what I can do to help / fix it.

- Any mall members who want to join the ad needs to neomail me to be added into the ad. If spots are open, you can be added right away. If not, then you will have to wait till the next round of ads to be added. If the category is already full of users, I may have to add you to my waiting list. I'm trying my best to get everyone the ads and spaces they want. But remember, I do have to be fair and give everyone an equal chance to be on the ad. That said, members will have to realize that spots are limited and they may have to wait a few weeks or even months to be placed into the ad rotation, as adding users can only be done when there is room and at the end/beginning of each month. Unless the space is currently already open.

- Thank you to everone who has signed up for the ad! And a big thank you to all the members who are buying their sands early and making my job a lot easier, by not having to chase them for their fee.

- Please remember to recycle your ad sands by sending them back to the sand shop account. Thank you!

The Nursery Malls combined NB ad will be posting each week for 750k (700k is the least I'll post it for). That's 50k per user per category per week. The ad is not a must for mall members to take part in, though. Members have the choice to join it or not. We are running 4 ads a month (and a bonus optional 5th week on months with 5 Mondays). When open, members can sign up for any combo of ad spaces, for example: weeks 1 & 3, weeks 2 & 4 or weeks 1 - 4.

Mall members will always have the first chances at any open ad spaces. But only if open, I'm not removing a user on a set or prepaid ad space to add in a mall member, nor will I remove a permanent non-mall member to make a space. Tuesday to Sunday is the time for setting users in any open spaces on the ads for the coming Monday. If all 4 weeks of the ads are set, you will need to wait till the following month to be added into the ads.

This means...

If there is only one member in a category, they will be on the ad every week, until another mall member in that category would also like to be on the ad.

If there are 2 users sharing a category, they will be on the ad every 2nd week (1st user, weeks 1 & 3. 2nd user, weeks 2 & 4).

There will be only 1 - 2 users in any one category, no more. Once on the ad, non mall users will not be removed from the ad unless they choose to leave. But if the user is doing all 4 ad weeks and a mall member wishes to join the ad, they will have to give 2 of the 4 weeks to the active mall member. Mall members doing all 4 weeks of the ad will also have to share the weeks, but only if another mall member asks to join the ad.

The ads will be posted before I go to bed late Monday nights. On nights when I can stay up till 4am my time, they will be posted at midnight NST. Otherwise they will be posted at my normal bedtime midnight, which is around 8pm-ish NST.

Categories that don't have a user signed up for them by Sunday each week, will be farmed out to any user who wants it, no matter what their category may be. So that the ad can post on time for the ad min of 700k.

Please remember that participation in the NB Ad is totally up to the members. If you change your mind at any time, feel free to neomail me about it. I have no problem changing or omitting members from ads. If you need to be off the ad for a few weeks or something of that sort, arrangments can be made to get a filler for you for these weeks. But please... please... be sure to give me some notice (before Friday), so I can try and fill the spot as I may have to look outside the mall to fill it. I'd hate to have to miss a Monday posting due to a last min backout or non-paid fees by multi members.

The shop size for users joining the notice board ad will be size 100 from now on. Users with shops any size smaller than that will have a hard time showing any amount of profit from our ad. Users with smaller shop sizes should try doing one of the less expensive ads on the notice board to allow them to build their shop up and have enough profit to stock their shops with good resonably priced items. Through experience, I know that smaller shops just don't have enough stock in them to make our ad profitable for you. Sorry!

Users who have signed up for the NB ad can pay their neopoints by buying a sand from my side accounts shop. I thought it better to just buy a sand from there than dealing with a bunch of trades. This way the nps will all be in one place at the same time and there will be a record kept via the shop history. It can also be kept apart from my shop.
