This is my world...
♦ You are cold when you walk now, and the cobblestones at your feet seem to only mock your current situation. The sky overhead is a dreary one, a solid shade of dark grey, like a thick blanket of dust as far as your lethargic eyes can see. The bitter wind blows softly, but with enough force to ruffle the leaves of the tall oaks in the park around you. Raindrops sit with content atop thin branches and rust-colored bushes, puddles form in the labyrinth of cracks and valleys between the cobbles. As you breathe in the clean air, tasting the recent rainfall, your mind relaxes and all your stress seems to pool at your feet, along with the water. You can't help the small smile that flutters across your features.
♦ Now, as long as it took for you to become completely relaxed, everything vanishes within an instant. Your back starts to ache, your head begins to throb, and your heart feels heavy with regret and anger. The soggy sound of paws over wet leaves catches your attention, and you crane your neck to the left instinctually. Standing there not five feet before you is a lovely blond canine, with a thin frame and creamy white markings. Slowly, your eyes wander up to meet with his, and your heart seems to stop. You gaze into his grey eyes, and you can feel nothing but his extreme grief, his stare piercing and mocking. Your head fills with screams and moans, and you can't do anything but shiver and cover your ears. It seems the weight of the world was crammed into your skull, and you can hear the pulsing of thick blood ringing in your head. Anger, hatred, sorrow, remorse, depression, anxiety, illness, and everything in between. You scream.
♦ You open your eyes and you are on your knees, arms dangling limply at your sides. The path is clear once more, and you can hear the birds begin to sing as they come out from their storm shelters. You look down and you can see thick strands of red fanning out underneath you. Your knees must have hit those stones hard when you blacked out. You let your head hang as you watch your blood find its way through the labyrinth, along with the puddles of water, letting a cool breeze rustle your hair.
This is my life...
My name is Beaumont and I have been crazy for as long as I can remember. Not really, but I get pegged with that particular label quite often. Most, just don't understand.
I originated in Paris, not too long ago. I don't recall any parents, but I have been far from alone, my entire life. You see…
COMING SOON.
This is my kingdom...

Cahmeol is my friend, my savior, my life. You see, when we crossed paths for the first time, I was younger, and I was drawn to him instantly. I soon found that my mind was my own when he is in close proximity. I mean I can't hear any traces of the angels in my head, I can feel their presence, sure, but they don't dare utter a sound. His company is like a fresh breath of air after a spring rain, or like curling up in the tall grass under a shady tree. My world, I can't imagine I could going on without him. |
