Known to his parents as Colton Marconi Prefers to go by Cole
Blew out twelve candles
Eats cake on December 7, 1997
Has dusty blonde hair
Sees through bright blue eyes
Stands a whopping five feet, two inches
Fatal flaw(s)... hubris [excessive pride/arrogance], dogmaticalness [trust me, this is a real word]
Is a proud only child
Lives with his caring, yet clueless mother
Could care less about his said "Olympian" father and all of the stupid history surrounding him
Would rather jump off a cliff than attend a "dump" like Camp Half-Blood

All of the writing on this page is solely mine, meaning NO STEALING. If you have to ask, yes, Cole is completely original and my own creation. Not to be mean here, but I've spent countless hours creating my roleplay charries and would appreciate them to stay under my name.

The Indestructible Colton

AT HOME...
For as long as Colton could remember, he has woken up to his mother's Josh Groban CDs- In Her Eyes, You Raised Me Up, the whole deck o' cards. Never has he been shaken awake by an eager father, offering to take him to shoot baskets or see a baseball game; no sibling pulling him out of bed on Easter to see what the bunny had left. Though, in a way, Cole had gotten used to this, used to having no one around but his mom- so much so, in fact, that at one point, he no longer had a desire to uncover the mystery of his dad.

After a while, his version of a normal day had become obscure- afterall, what normal person is taunted by a crazy, dictoral math teacher and stalked by a pair of large dogs on their way home from school? However, unaware of its significance, Cole neglected to mention these strange happenings to anyone, not even his mother. Besides, it wasn't as if he and his mother talked about school at all.

ISSUES...
When he and his mom did take the time to converse about school, it was usually concerning the "minor disagreements", as his mother called them, that went on in the hallways between classes. Though, Cole knew perfectly well that they were far from disagreements- tackling someone to the ground? A little more dangerous.

Time and time again, the two of them had tried having a mom-son talk about "getting along". But time and time again, Cole's anger would take control, and he'd end up punching a guy or pinning him to the floor...all because the student had accidentally bumped into him; sometimes, there'd be an all-out fight. Occasionally, he had a good excuse, for example: "that cheerleader looked deadly" or "that boy was creeping me out" or "he bumped into me on purpose".

Believe it or not, the verdict was usually something along the lines of detention, or, if he was lucky, suspension for a day. He didn't mind; getting sent out of class was comforting, in a sense. Rarely, Cole had to switch schools. Not that he had any friends to miss.

VACATION...
Every summer, Cole and his mother try to make room for "family bonding time" by taking off on a wild road trip. The one thing that he count on every year, this crazy ride is normally a rendezvous to hotspots New York City, Manhattan, or even Chicago, from their hometown of Philadelphia. He is excited as ever.

That is, until Cole discovers that this year's vacation will exclude his mother. It isn't until they reach their destination that he realizes what his mom is up to- a camp; she wants to send him away "to rot in a stupid, insignificant camp, where they roast marshmallows and sing cheesy songs around a fire made of sticks".

However, he has no choice. His mother is marooning him at this Camp Half-Blood with a brand-new cell phone, and Colton doesn't like her idea one bit. So far, the goat-people, Peter Pan weapons, and flying horses have yet to make sense, but only time will tell what Cole will make of his new surroundings and and unvieled mysteries of his past. And time better pass quickly, because there's only so much you can do in a jam-packed cabin full of ugly pickpockets.

note

Cole is normally used for CHB/PJATO roleplay, but I may occasionally use [a variation of] him for a POTC/pirate roleplay. If this is the case, please disregard everything about Camp Half-Blood, demigods, etc. Afterall, what significance does any of that have in a pirate roleplay? Haha.

also hangin' around CHB

Jacey as far as Cole's concerned, she's "just another girl", another girl at Camp Half-Blood out to get him. Though her insults are few, Cole still has doubts.

Ari otherwise known as Cole's annoying, backtalking, big-mouthed archenemy. If there's anything he loathes, it's this daughter of Zeus; through arguing, physical combat, and intense glares, these two are forced to share Camp Half-Blood...and work together. You'd be more successful asking Cole to eat a tarantula.

If we are currently working on a CHB roleplay and you would like your character here, don't hesitate to neomail me ^^
