Today, I begin preparations for my world tour adventure! I have to pack my suitcase, book hotel reservations with the Neolodge, figure out transportation, and of course, go take some Neopoints out of cool34537's Neopian Bank account so I can buy lots and lots of souvenirs! I can't wait to start traveling the world tomorrow.I guess this blog will be kind of like a diary? I guess so. Anyway, tomorrow, I'm going to jet off to Roo Island. I'm really excited!woohoo!Well, I better start packing, hehe. I have to be up bright and early tomorrow. Talk to you all tomorrow! Bye!

Wow, spending the day in Roo Island was such a blast! There are Blumaroos everywhere! (No duh!) Haha. First, I went on the Merry-Go-Round (very cheap folks, only 50 NP). At first, I thought it was a little wierd that the seats were all Unis, since my sister Mary is a Yellow Uni, but then I though, "Oh, whatever, at least they're not REAL Unis!" haha.

Gee, those Blumaroos really love to play dice. They're really good at too. They could make some real money off of this. Oh wait, THEY DO. I certainly know for a fact that they got a lot of MY money. It's those darn Blumaroos that just randomly pass by and distract me, telling me that they love Nachos or that there's a secret sixth die in Dice-a-Roo. Whatever.

Roo Island Nachos are pretty good, by the way. You should try some. Peace out. Who knows where I'll be off to tomrorrow! (It's a surprise, even I don't know. Besides, life is an adventure and full of surprises, so who knows!)

LOOK! It's my sister!
Just kidding!

Brrr! It's so cold up there at Terror Mountain. That's right folks. My globe-trotting adventure brought me to Terror Mountain next. I spent some in Happy Valley, buying supplies so I could skiing at the top of the mountain! It was so much fun! I wiped-out at least twenty-bazillion times. There are many activities that the locals to during snowstorms too. I was talking to a Bruce at the Ski Lodge and he said they sometimes had snowball wars! Doesn't that sound pretty awesome? To play "war" they build forts and catapults around snowmen, and then pelt each other with snowballs! Another thing that locals might do is to roll snowballs down the mountain peak with the goal of running over everyone! MUAHAHA! That sounds like fun.

Now, a globe-trotting adventure would be nothing without doing a little shopping here and there. I visited the Neggery in the Ice Caves (I even met the Negg Faerie!) and got myself a super awesome Happy Negg. It was delicious and it made me really happy! :D And please don't ask me if I visited the Snowager, I'm adventurous, but not crazy. Besides, he was awake while I was at the Ice Caves, and the last thing I want to do is be pelted by ice crystals.

Finally, I decided to spend the night in Happy Valley for a nice relaxing rest. I'll tell you, the Neopets in Happy Valley are so friendly! I went to the Ice Rink to try my hand at ice-skating (it was my first time). I met a friendly Bruce who agreed to teach me, for free (now that was nice!). Then, it was time for dinner. cool34537 wasn't around to bug me to eat healthy food (hehe), so I gorged myself on slushies and ice cream. I tell you, if you ever visit Terror Mountain, the food you should try there are the slushies. They are Delish! I was certainly tantalized by them.

Anyway, I'm blogging from my lodge room right now, and I'm super tired. I'll blog more tomorrow on the next leg of my journey, wherever that is! Bye!

Me at the ice rink (it's actually more of a pond than a rink)
I'm actually not that bad at skating!

Today...is a slow day. I am traveling through the mountains right now...it's very cold, blizzards everywhere. I have decided to head towards Tyrannia. I will probably reach there tomorrow. There is a peak I must climb, it'll take forever. I should log off now, the internet connection is pretty weak up here in the snowy mountains. Where's a satellite when you need one? Oh, that's right! It only passes past Neopia's southern hemisphere and NEVER passes over Terror Mountain. Brrrr, gotta go now, bye!

Well,I made it through the narrow passes into Tyrannia! I arrived late at night yesterday and spent the night in Tyrammet Village, which by the way,, was like heaven compared to facing a blizzard. :D

When I woke up, I headed over to the Big Chomby at breakfasted on some stew, which, if you ask me, was kind of questionable. Oh Well! Let's see, what else did I do in the jungle. Oh right! I played some mini-golf and a game of Tyranu Evavu. Well, I think I did, it seemed like Tyranu Evavu, but I don't really understand what "ugga-ugga" means in Tyrannia Speak. Ugga ugga.

After 15 minutes of trying to decipher if I was playing Tyranu Evavu or not, I got a bit bored and hiked up to the plateau. What a climb! I finally got to see the Big Omelette for myself, and boy, is it huge! I never believed it until I saw it. I thought the idea was silly that such a dinosaur of such gigantic porportions could lay such an egg, but it's true! Take my word for it. I took some Cheese Omelette for my own, and it was delicious! Ugga ugga!

After my omelette lunch, I played some Kacheekers, which is just like checkers, but more...prehistoric. Hehe. Then, I headed over to the town hall to hopefully meet the famed Tyrannian leaders. I did! I got to meet Kyruggi, Grarrg, Tekel, Plesio, Sabre-X, and Myncha. I even got a picture taken with them. Woohoo!

It's now nearing the end of the day, and I'm going to a M*YNCI concert soon! Can't wait. I hope I get some cool M*YNCI merchandise too! Peace Out! I'll be blogging from a different Neopian World tomorrow! Ugg Ugga! whatever that means in Tyrannian.

The picture I took with the Tyrannian leaders.
I got the picture framed because it's so special!

Wednesday, August 4, 2010

Well, I went to the M*YNCI concert today. It wasn't everything I expected it to be. They're just too, how do I put it, "boy bandish" for my taste. I suppose I prefer a band like Twisted Roses. My sister Mary, (the yellow uni, remember?), got me into them, and now Twisted Roses is one of my favorite bands! I wonder when they'll be playing at the Tyrannian Arena. Soon hopefully! I took a picture from the concert, so for all you M*YNCI fans out there reading my blog, enjoy! I guess...

I absolutely love the peaceful setting of Meridell. Even the name sounds peaceful-see for yourself: Merrr-i-delllll. Anyway, despite common misconception, there's actually a lot a young Bori like me can do in farm country. I'm proud to say it, but I made the mighty King Skarl laugh! I forget the exact joke, I think it had something to do with blueberries. Anyway, as a reward, he gave me some leftover food from his kitchens(It beats the yucky gruel they sell at Merifoods at least!). yum.....(ha, no). Afterwards, I headed over to Sinsi's to play some Shapeshifter. And well, let's just say I need more practice. :D Next, I headed over to Ye Old Petpets just to look at the cute little critters. But don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Deela my Christmas Buzzer (I just enjoy browsing store, that's all!).

After my lunch of Yeasty Bread (probably the only edible thing at Merifoods), I went on over to the Turdle Races and watched other Neopians lose hefty amounts of Neopoints betting on losing Turdles. That's one thing I learned after playing Dice-a-Roo: Never bet your Neopoints on ANYTHING! With that thought in mind, I walked over to the Round Table Poker table, and watched even more Neopians lose hefty amouns of Neopoints. Ouch. That poor Lenny tourist sure lost a lot of money!

But, I did try my hand at archery lessons with Turtum. Archery may look easy, but I assure you, it's not! After getting used to the archery machine, I played Ultimate Bullseye and finished with a measly score of 18. Yup, I'm sooo an expert. I really wanted to visit Illusen, but when I went to visit her, she was busying away doing faerie things and muttering about dark faeries. Oh well.

It's now nearing the end of the day. I'm planning on taking Deela to the infamous Symol Hole. Who knows what's she'll do in there? But Deela really wants to go. Then, afterwards, we're going to play some game called Cheeseroller: Nighttime Edition. I wonder how that will work out. Well, goodbye Internetians, I'll be back tomorrow with more of my adventures in Meri Acres farms!

Remember folks, betting = bad!

Before I forget, here is a picture of the Cheeseroller: Nighttime Edition. It's something Sinsi supposedly came up with. Pure genius! She's a genius! I want everyone who's reading this to play Cheeseroller at night. It's awesome!

Today, I spent my time exploring Meri Acres Farm- a very merry place to be. There are many fun activities to do in Meri Acres, for example, potato counting. I'm a pretty fast counter, if I say so myself. The key to potato counting is to not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the amount of potatoes. Sometimes, there could be 10 potatoes in a sack, and sometimes, there could be 60,or sometimes, there could even be 2,472 potatoes in a sack. It doesn't matter, you have to keep a straight mind and stay focused. :)

Another fun "mind-game" to play is "Guess the Weight of the Marrow". It's a popular pastime among the residents of Meridell-everyone does it! One must have a keen eye for spacial recognition, like me! I have a very keen eye, which caused me to win the competition! I think I was the 6th Neopian to guess the correct weight, or maybe it was the seventh. Whatever, I won! As a reward, I got a neat little Marrow Bone (it's food) prize. So pretty!

As I was leaving the marrow plot, I saw a giant pile of rubbish near the Meri Acres river. It smelled SOOOO bad! I would'nt advise anyone to go near it! Yuck!

I crossed the bridge over the river to get to the other side of Meri Acres arm so I could play a game of EXTREME potato counter. How is it extreme you may ask? Well, you have to count how many potatoes are thrown in the air, and they're thrown pretty fast too! And they don't just throw potatoes, they throw spinning carrots too! Spinning carrots make it very difficult to count! I only racked up 38 points, sooo, yeah, it's a pretty gnarly game. :)

I heard there was a place where you could pick your own Meridellian berries, so I walked over to that farm plot, paid the 400 NPs, and explored the berry farm looking for fancy berries. I took a picture of all the fancy berries I found. Look, they're so fancy!

It's the end of the day now, and I can't wait for what's in store for tomorrow. Goodbye!

The Fancy berries I picked today :)

Today, I'm, erm, visiting the Darigan Citadel. It's really dark and gloomy up there, but I really want to visti my "Vacation" NeoHome there (I still don't know why cool34537 wanted a NeoHome in Darigan Citadel, I would have much preferred anywhere else!). It took me awhile to find my Neohome because of all the confusing streets and alleyways in the residential quarters of the Citadel. Our NeoHome is kind of empty right now, but cool34537 is working on filling it up with cool furniture, soon hopefully! At least it has a nice bed in it. :)

After putting all my stuff away in the dresser, I decided to explore the Citadel for a bit, before it could get any darker outside. First, I visited the Cellblock Dungeon and met all the prisoners there. I played a unique game that Master Vex, the prison warden, invented (it's called Cellblock, if you didn't already know). I played against a prisoner named Clop. Although Clop doesn't speak and only communicates by stomping his hooves, he beat me miserably at Cellblock. I'm not very good. :D

After playing some Cellblock and losing, I left the dungeon, avoided the Petpet arena (I don't want Deela getting hurt!) and headed over to the toy shop. I really wanted to buy something, but all the toys looked a litte...dangerous to play with, except for the Master Vex Puzzle, which I ended up buying. It may creep me out, but at least I'll stay intact playing with it!

After buying a hopefully safe toy, I mustered up the courage to try and visit Lord Darigan himself. After all, I was here anyway, why not try, right? WRONG! He shooed me away. He told me I could'nt just explore the citadel whenever I felt like it. Umm, excuse me Mr. Darigan Lord, that's EXACTLY what I'm doing. Grrrr. So I skedaddled quickly out of there before he summoned his guards. Eek!

There's not really much to do here, and I'm returning to my Neohome right now. I think I'll go to Brightvale tomorrow. At least it's bright there! Pun intended. :D Bye for now!

A coloring page I colored
A Darigan Citadel exclusive item! heehee
It's 1 trillion NPs if you want it

The only way to get from Meridell to Brightvale is by hopping onto the slowest moving vegetable cart ever. Although Brightvale is only 50 miles away, the vegetable cart moves at probably 7 miles per hour as it travels through field and forest. It's VERY slow. *sigh* It's going to be a long trip, talk to you all tomorrow. *sigh*

Me beginning an hours-long ride to Brightvale. blah

Monday, August 9, 2010

Well, it took forever, but I'm finally in Brightvale. I arrived late after sundown yesterday, too tired to blog about me arriving. But now I'm here and ready to tell the world about what I did in Brightvale!

So first off, I bought some Brightvale fruits, oh how delicious and ripe they are! Especially the freshly squeezed Florange juice they prepared for me there. Mmm, there's nothing like freshly squeezed florange juice and fruit salad to wake a Neopet up! Afterwards, I went to Brightvale Books and got a neat book called Bori of Brightvale. I haven't started reading it yet, but I will when I get back home to Neopia Central. Then, I went to the Scrollery to see if I could get some magical scrolls for cool34537, but they were so expensive,so I got cool34537 a picture of a magical scroll- good enough, right? teehee

After snapping lots of picture of the scenery, I went to the Royal Potionery and got to watch the shopkeeper make a Steaming Skeem potion with fresh Skeems he had from his very own garden! It was so magical! As you can imagine, I was working my way up to Brightvale Castle so I could meet the elusive King Hagan himself, but I wasn't there yet. I had to stop by the Wheel of Knowledge first! I spun the wheel and won some great Green Herb Dressing in a pretty crystal pouring bottle. How exciting!

I then went to Brightvale Glaziers to look at some windows. Brightvale is famed for its window-making craftsmanship, specifically stained-glass windows. And I was not disappointed when I went there. The windows glinted so brightly in the sunlight, which made them all the more beautiful. Finally, I had reach Brightvale Castle. I couldn't wait to meet King Hagan and try to impress with with my smarts. I told him that there's nothing like the tenacity of a school of Angelpuss, but he's not dense, he already knew that! But, he did give me some Neopoints for the effort. It's very difficult, perhaps impossible for any neopet to surpass King Hagan in knowledge (his words :D).

It's now almost the end of the day. I want to go visit the Motery and look at the cute little battle motes, then I'm staying in the upstairs room of Brightvale Books. Yay! I'll be here blogging tomorrow in a different place. Yipee!

the "gift" for cool34537

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

Oooh, I'm in Kiko Lake today. Bring on the Kikos! I left Brightvale as soon as the sun rose so I could hike up to Kiko Lake, since it's at the top of a (dormant) volcano. The view up there is beautiful and the water is so sparkly! I immediately hopped on to a Glass-Bottomed Boat Tour that Neopolitan Magazine raves about. The ride was so much fun. I got to see many of the Kikos' homes and the giant coral gardens they tend to. I also saw the the High Street, which is the main street underwater that all the underwater shops are located (too bad I can't swim, otherwise I would've gone shopping underwater!). After the tour, I went to Kiko Lake Treats and ate a Freshwater Kelp Burger- delicious! I also bought some Rock sticks and popcorn balls so I could eat them later.

Then I went to Kiko Lake Carpentry and got cool34537 some Coral salt and pepper shakers- she loves those things! Afterwards, I was looking for a bit of adventure, so I went and hired a Pedalo, which is a kind of pedaling boat. I of course, had get the Kiko pedalo, you know, just cause. I pedaled around the surface of the lake and waved to all the Kikos at the bottom. :)

I had so much fun in Kiko Lake. I tell you, when I finish my world tour, I'm going to make cool34537 teach me how to swim. I'd really like to swim down to the bottom of Kiko Lake and explore even more, but I can't swim! Maybe I'll visit Kiko Lake in the near future, and hopefully by then, maybe I'll be able to swim to the bottom! Bye for now!

Some Kiko's house I saw from the Boat Tour
Random thought: Faerie Kikos can Swim and fly. cool!
