We are a literate to advanced feline roleplay guild. We live in the desert, and there we strive. We are based on the warriors books by Erin Hunter, but we have a twist. We where built on the want to create an active warriors roleplay guild that is more than just a semi-lit chat place.

Rules

◦ We are considered a literate to advanced roleplay guild, this includes using OCC, and IC. Any chatspeak will not be tolerated. The occasional slip of "lol" "btw" or "brb" is alright in OCC, but it must not be used in excess. Spamming and flooding of the boards will not be tolerated. Spelling must be correct, grammar, sentence structure and punctuation. Ya, I know, we're not writing a paper, but you joined a literate to advanced roleplay guild, don't like it, go join a semi-literate.
◦ We do not require you to be on every hour of every day, but activity is a must. To be a member of DF, you must be active. Checks on members activity and member sweeps will be frequent. If you cannot be on for a long period of time, let someone on the council know.
◦ Neopets rules are a must. You must follow neopets rules at all times. Its not my rule, its neopets, you know, the place where we're roleplaying. Like it or not, if you become frozen, don't expect sympathy.
◦ Powerplaying and godmodling are an absolute nono. Absolutely not aloud. Killing other roleplayer's characters without permission is not aloud. Playing others characters without the roleplayer's concent is not tolerated.
◦ Character names are cruitial to our guild. We are a warriors guild, therefor, we will play with warrior names. No names like "Angelwing" the cats don't know what an angel is. If you can prove that cats do know what the prefix means, than you may use it, for example, Dragon is a perfectly suitable prefix. Cats do infact know what Dragonflys are, therefor the prefix may be used. Also, like every other Warriors guild, we follow a certain naming process. Kits, who stay in the nursery and are watched by queens have a prefix -kit. Such as Brackenkit. Apprentices, who are studying to become a warrior or medicinecat, have the prefix -paw. Such as Brackenpaw. Warriors prefixes are usually chosen about something on the cat. Such as Brackenpelt, because his pelt was rough like bracken. The suffix of the name is chosen by the mother (or adoptive mother) usually about something in nature, such as Bracken, Ivy, Fox, ect.
◦ We are a realistic roleplay guild, which means, no powers or strange colors. Cats do not grow hair that is naturally lime green. They do not have moons on their forheads or starshaped pads on their paws. Jewelry is acceptable, as long as it does not get over extensive. A collar from a kittypet that is torn off later is acceptable, but nothing like a godess necklace that gives her controls over the water. Absolutely no.
◦ There is no character limit, but if you create 13 cats, I expect you to roleplay all 13. Not 2. Most players can roleplay a maxiumum of 5 and keep them all active. If you want to play less or more, thats up to you.
◦ Fun and friendship are a must in the guild. If you feel like this guild is not for you, no one will make you stay. It is your account, and your guild. We expect friendlyness from all of our members, even if you dislike someone, pretend.

Council

• Ivy(orlando_crazy_987)- The leader and owner of Desert Flowers. Shes usually on causing maham either on the roleplay, guild or guild message boards. Shes a product of sarcasm and sillyness. She enjoys listening to alternative rock, and country music, and loves nothing more than a juicy science-fiction book. She doesn't watch manga, and is no longer a teenager, but loves watching disney childrens movies. Her favorite foods include icecream, chocolate, sushi, spagetti, raviolli, and chinese. When she refers to food, assume its one of the listed. In the guild she plays Brackenstar, Basilfoot, Ivypaw and Sparrowpaw.
•The Deputy position is currently up for grabs. Once a person shows they are able and ready to co-lead Desert Flowers, the council will decide weather or not to promote them, and if they show much promise, will be able to play the Deputy position in the Guild.
• Becca(becca_the_awesome)- The MedicineCat and Co-Owner of Desert Flowers. Shes homeschooled and in her free time she enjoys being crazy, singing, musical theatre and volunteer work. On neopets she enjoys being a complete n00b and troll on the boards... not really xD. Shes been roleplaying for almost 2 years. Her favorite food is orange chicken and her favorite drink is iced coffee. Yum! Shed also like to wish y'all a very happy christmas and a merry new year! In the guild she plays Amberleaf, Cactuspaw and Hawkkit.
• MedicineCat Apprentice is chosen by Becca. She will decide wether or not she wants an apprentice, and if she does, she will then decide on an apprentice, and then will give them the MedicineCat Apprentice.
• Head Warrior is given only to a member who shows incredible loyalty to Desert Flowers. They must be trustworthy, and the council will decide wether or not they are the perfect canidate for this positon.

Members

Bunny of Doom- Earned after 1000 posts and recruitment of at least two new members. Who doesn't love Bunnys of Doom?
Elder- Earned after 500 posts and recruitment of at least one new member.
Warrior- Earned after 150 posts and membership in the guild for at least two weeks.
Apprentice- Earned after 50 posts and membership in the guild for at least one full week.
Kit- This is the starting rank and is recieved once one joins the guild.

Water Sorce

This is the only water sorce on our territory. It cuts between our territory and MarshClan's territory.

Camp Entrance

Entrance to camp, tucked away under a large rock

Camp Clearing

This is the clearing in camp. It is lit up by a small hole in the top of the cave.
The dens branch out in all corners of this spot.
Brackenstar jumps ontop of the smooth rock and adresses his Clan. His den is located right behind the rock.

EchoClan Boader

This is the boarder with EchoClan. Its a straight rockface from the Fallen Ancestor to as far as the territory. Only EchoClan cats can scale its face.

Fallen Ancestor

This is the meeting place for all four Clans every full moon. The leaders leap ontop of the fallen tree and adress the Clans.

Stone Pool

The MedicineCat's of all four Clans travel to Stone Pool to dream with StarClan every full moon. When the moon is just right, it will illuminate the clear blue waters and than is the perfect time for them to drink and recieve their dreams.

Life

SaguaroClan strives on the hot sands of north eastern Arizona. Where the four corners of Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico meet. SaguaroClan are tough cats use to the hot sands of the desert with little to no follage, and scarce water, but they don't move, they pride on their toughness, they are like no other warriors.
While SaguaroClan lives in the north eastern corner of Arizona, EchoClan lives in the north western corner of New Mexico. Their neighbors are tough cats, usually of the color Gray or black. They live on the bluffs of New Mexico.
Their other neighbors, MarshClan live in the south eastern corner of Utah. It rains often there, and its often muddy. The Clans cats are usually brown in color. They live in the marshes of Utah.
Their other neighbors, ForestClan live in the south western corner of Colorado. Its foresty there, and the cats strive in the forest. The Clan cats are usually mellow colors ranging from off white to black. They smell like wood and live in the forests of Colorado.
The Clans meet at the fork of the four Clans territorys. There is nothing special there, only a fallen log that has been there for as long as any cat can remember. At every full moon all four Clans gather at that meeting Place, which they have fondly named, Fallen Ancestor.

Beliefs

Going along with the Erin Hunter books, cats of Desert Flowers believe in StarClan.
They believe that when a cat dies on the mortal plane, they live on in StarClan and watch over the cats who try and get through the crazy thing called life.
The MedicineCat's and MedicineCat Apprentice's of all four of the Clans travel to the Stone Pool and dream with StarClan.
The Cats of Desert Flowers gather each full moon at Fallen Ancestor to visit with the other Clan's cats.
They belive bad weather is an omen from StarClan.

Warrior Code

The warrior code is to be followed by each cat and is layed down by the leader of the Clan, and is executed by senior warriors and the Deputy of the Clan.


•Do not kill other Clan mates
•Do not mate with other Clan's members
•Do not hunt alone
•MedicineCat's & Apprentices shall not reproduce
•Do not question the leader's judgment
•Do not attack other Clan's members without the leaders concent
•No Cat is to leave camp after dark
Other rules are included, but not listed.

Prey

•Lizards- Usually brown or green. Not very good food, about 1/2 a foot in length. Common.
•Roadrunners- Brown bird that does not fly. Easily caught by a warrior or apprentice. About 1 1/2 feet long. Very Common.
•Mice- Usually the color of the sand. Long tails and long back legs. About 1 1/2 feet in length. Easy to catch. Very Common.
•Hares- Large, usually gray and brown. Large ears, spook easy. Hard to catch. Roughly 2 1/2 feet standing up. Common.

Preditors

•Fox- Usually gray or sandy brown. About 2 1/2 feet at the shoulders. Dangerous to kits and young apprentices. Moderate
•Coyote- Looks like a dog. Gray with amber eyes. Dangerous to all cats. Moderate.
•Scorpion-Large insect. Usually brown. Very poisonous to young cats. Common
•Rattlesnake- Light brown with dark brown diamonds. Tail makes noise when threatened. Very poisonous, lethal to all cats. Moderate.
•Hawk- Brown bird. Lethal to kits.
•Eagle- Brown bird thats larger than the hawk. Lethal to kits and small apprentices.

Other Animals

•Boar- Roughly 4 feet at the shoulders. Usually brown and make alot of noise. Not reccomended to hunt.

The Other Clans

The other Clans in the territory. The cats of the four Clans may be roleplayed by anyone. The other Clans will not be roleplayed like SaguaroClan. They will be roleplayed only durring the meeting at the full moon and occassional meetings such as patrols, hunting partys, ect.

Bushheart- Gray skinny tom with a white spot on chest. Brown eyes.
Cascadefoot- Black she-cat with a single white paw. Orange eyes.

Rainpaw- Gray tabby she-cat with brown eyes.

A gripping, member-getting plot has yet to be decided on, but a continuious plot is set in place because of where the Clan is located.
