Welcome to a page about the city of Altador (the greatest city in all of Neopia, mind you). You'll be learning about what the shops around Altador have in stock and also some interesting add-on by King Altador himself about the shops. Feel free to look around and maybe spot an item to take home as a souvenir when you visit the shops yourself. :)
You can find Altador located on the side of the right side of the Neopia world, or the right side if you spin it enough. It's inbetween some beautiful mountains and just south of Shenkuu! Best place to visit in all seasons!
In total there are four shops in Altador. All of which fulfill the needs of the citizens dwelling within the city walls. There is Exquisite Ambrosia which carters to food, Legendary Petpets which provides the life long loyal companion, Illustrious Armoury which supplies in all the armor you could ever need for battle and finally Magical Marvels which gives the items needed to whoop someone in the battledome - kapow!
With these shops the city of Altador has been able to go about living a very secluded life.
King Altador: My favorite of the four shops has to be Exquisite Ambrosia. The food made there is made for heroes and royalty. Not to be forgotten, it is delicious!
Well begin our guide of the city by learning about one of King Altador's favorite shops to visit: Exquisite Ambrosia. Now, why it is his favorite shouldn't be too hard to figure - it has the most eatable food there is! The slogan of the store We only sell the most delectable foods fit for heroes. is completely true. The food is certainly made for those with an exquisite taste. The food is affordable in this fine shop, so please stop by there anytime to get a bite to eat you won't regret it!

King Altador: When visiting the store there is some great things to pick up throughout the day here are some suggestions:
| Breakfast |  In the early hours of the morning I would suggest stopping in for a Fig Muffin, Altador Omelette or some
Honey Toast. Perfect way to start the morning! |
| Lunch | In the afternoon sun it is best to go in for a nice Altador Dog,
Altador Cheese Burger, Fig or some Hero Gyro. My personal favorite has to be the Fig Sandwich though! |
| Snack | When just stopping by for a quick bite there are plenty of things to try out such as the
Baklava,
Fruit Cornucopia, a Cheese bowl or even a
Altadorian Cobb Salad or another one of the salads they offer. |
| Dinner | Now at dinner is when the real feast begins. I suggest getting a starter such as one of the salads like
Altadorian Olive Salad or a soup such as
Doric Soup. Now for a main course there is a large selection here are some of my favorites:

If you are ever looking for a honorable life long companion then Legendary Petpets is a place to add to your list of stores to visit. There is a selection of ten possible buddies. A small number, but each one is equally loyal! There is a selection between flying or ground, and even petpets that can be land or air critters! Not to forget they are adorable, how can you resist taking one of them home!?

King Altador: We have a splendid selection of Petpets in Altador. Our most popular, and well known, has to be the Yooyu from the Altador Cups. But it only can be required though gaining 7,500 points for years Darigan Yooyu. But we have other petpets that are quite usefull. The Garfir is quite the useful Guardian for a Baby pet, wouldn't have to worry about bullies then! Or the Alabriss who is a very loyal and a useful messanger along with the Hermiteese - who is also quite intelligent! If you want a petpet to just enjoy time with then the Altalaphus is for you, not the brighest, but will go with you anywhere, mind the cheese whenever it is around though. Finally, if you want to be kept warm on a cold Terror Mountain night then a Vaeolus can be quite handy.
Ready for battle? What better way to prepare then by stopping by this fine armoury! Illustrious Armoury is the place to see. If you want armour that will sparkle and blind your foe then this is the place for you. This Altador store has a fine selection of sparkling metal armor from shields, to helmets to guards for your shins! Don't want any armour? Well they also have a grand selection of sterling weapons knives, swords, everything perfect for stabbing, slicing or jabbing. Or get the items to just look fashionable when cruising through the city.

King Altador: Now if you fancy some fine armour this is the place to go to. Where do you think I got my pieces made? The City of Altador has the finest metal smiths around mixing the beautiful silver and gold. Not only is it sturdy and durable but it also a nice sight on the eyes. My favorite pieces has to be Gauntlets of the Sun and Altadorian Body Armour.
For any spell casting neopets out there Magical Marvels is a must see! They stock robes, and amulets and anything a starting wizard or witch could desire. And similar to that of Illustrious Armoury they are all quite fashionable. Sticking to of course, the main colors of Altador.

King Altador: From this store you can find a bow and arrow that I find quite splendid: Enchanted Wooden Bow. Along with that a Bag of Healing Dust is quite handy in battle, but being able to afford that dust is quite the issue!
GO ALTADOR! GO ALTADOR! HUZZAH! May have only made 13th place this year, but going for the gold next year!
Don't know whats going on!? Then you have to learn about the Altador Cup!
About once a year a team from each city comes in to take a part of a tournament held in the great city of Altador. They teams compete in a game that involves the petpet Yooyu as a ball. The object of the game is to make a score on the other team. It's two teams competing against one another. There is five players for each team: The goalkeeper, two defenders, and two forwards.
And of course, the best team in the whole league, representing the place the Altador Cup is brought form, and sponsored in: Team Altador! Next year is the year for us to shine!
There are also other events such as Slushie Slinger and who can be the loudest Fan. Which we all know, Altador has the loudest fans.
King Altador: Become Fans of Altador! I mean.. Choose wisely what team you want to support. It is quite the competitive game and we are proud to have it held in Altador every year. Great fun! Also brings in plenty of profits to our shops.
