Who Are We?

Kami is an anime,manga,asian guild opened on April 24, 2010.. Our main goal is to provide a place for all those who love anime, manga, the asian culture, music, dramas, graphic designing, and RP. We aren't all about fancy layouts and designs but we want to be a guild we can call as a second family and home.

We are a semi-literate guild meaning, we talk proper English, with correct punctuation, but allow chatspeak, (lol, omg, etc.). However too much is pushing it. We don't accept people wHo tlK lyK3 diZ. People who write lke that will not be tolerated.

We are also a semi-private guild. To make sure Kami stays close, active, and free of the random people who join but never say one word, Kami has become private, thou you can still see our guild layouts but you will have to fill out an application to join. Does this mean its hard to join? We are stuckup? NO! It's not hard to join if you fill out an application. This is to make sure members who join really want to join. We aren't stuckup, but rather random nice, fun loving, with a hint of craziness and weird mixed in the bunch. Ok maybe a little more than a hint. XD

Teams

Kami has 4 teams, Ryuu, Neko, Ookami, and Kistune, each one having their own qualities, symbols, motto's, and personalities that signify the team and ts members. Members try to earn points for their team, compete against the other teams in guild events, and most importantly, act as a sub-family in our close family guild where team members are a close batch.

Teams only run from June-Aug

Rules

Now we all can't stand rules. *raises hand* I'm one prime example. But to keep Kami as a fun and active place for all there are a few rules to follow.

1.) We are semi-literate, so we aren't picky with capitalization, occasional chatspeak (lol. omg, ftw, brb etc.). No tlKiN lyK3 diZ. Spell out your words.
2.) Be respectful to all members. I don't want any drama here, (besides RP drama between characters of course. =P) If it happens take it someplace else, away from the guild.
3.) Put Hayate as your answer for the last question on the application form.
4.) Be active! At least post once a week. Member sweeps are the last day of every month and if you haven't been active after 1 sweep the next one you are gone.

Council & Subcouncil

Council spots are for those members who show participation, activeness, has personality & uniqueness, is friendly to not just me but everyone else in the guild, can make quality graphics, and of course loves the asian culture. They are the dorm leaders and as dorm team leaders should have responsibility and the respect of their team.
The subcouncil are our teams Presidents and Vice-Presidents. Each team has one, meaning there are 8 people in total on subcouncil. Council spots are chosen by Adrenia while President & Vice-President are voted on by the team members.

Now it's time for the application! Phew. So to make sure you are serious and really want to join fill out the application. Don't put simple answers, explain! Use words! I suggest you put your application on a petpage. You don't have to make it fancy, but at least put a background not just a white blank space with words.
