I-ntroduction}

The summer was filled with heat and crowded places. You attempted to shove your way through the crowded train station. A TV buzzed overhead about the on going investigation of the murder of a twenty year old college student named Nicole Fletcher. You looked up for half a second to catch a glimps at the girl who had died and who they thought was the murderer. You listened for only a moment about them pratically being sisters. /...Poor girl. I wonder what happened.../ You thought before refocusing your attention. You then continued to shove and ram through the crowd. You had to catch this train. Or you'd be stuck here for another week. It was an old train station, like the kind with box cars. You thought it was cool that they still ran trains like that.

You then noticed the train pulling out, you were too late. "Oh no!" You shout, making a break now that no one was in your way. You ran at the train, unable to board it now. You then notice a boxcar who's door was wide open. It was funny how no one had seen it earlier. A few papers fluttered out of it, scattering themselves behind the boxcar as they drifted. You finally caught up with the silly thing and flung yourself in. You didn't see the girl in the corner, knees curled to her chest, eyes wide with fear. When she noticed you only after a second after you hoped on, she whailed out a scream. She was then on her feet, chest heaving as she slammed her back up against the wall of the boxcar.

You screamed in unison for a second, cuaght off gaurd and afraid. You then shove the boxcar's door to the side, illuminating the dark corner in which the girl stood. She then ducked away from you. You noticed papers everywhere as well as a thickly bound book resting a top of some of the loose leaf pages. She then made a run at you. You lept to the side and she lauched herself out. It was then you noticed who she was. You screamed as she summersaulted out of the train and safely landed on the ground. She then made a break for the thickening brush and woods that was close enough to read out and touch. You then looked back over at the book. You quickly moved away from the door and picked up the book. A gush of wind ripped the remaining cattered pages out the side of the box car, sending the flying away to be forver forgotton.

What To Remember was scrawled across the top of the cover. You noticed another notebook laying near by titled Journal.

She was screaming in her sleep again. And again it was about 'Glass'... Nicole won't explain what that's about, but atleast she's stopped screaming. I need to finish up my Chemisty homework. I really shouldn't even be writing.

Nicole isn't home... She's always making dinner when I get home from night class... I guess she's out with her study group, but she left a really weird note for me. 'I don't know if I'm coming home tonight.' What's that supposed to mean? We made plans to study tonight after dinner. Geez, I hate when she does this. Maybe I'll just do some solo studying tonight.

Nicole never came back... I filed a missing persons to the police station and had to stay down there for the entire day. They kept asking me all these questions. And they were asking me if I knew where she was. They also asked if I owned a gun! I think they think I killed her or something! My god, that's crazy! And then they told be that I should go get some sleep. I hate when people say that!

Nicole's back but she's... shaken up. I tried to ask her what's wrong and she was obviously on something when she came home. She's now on the couch, she's covered from head to toe in bruises and cuts. When I put my hand on her shoulder, my hand fit perfectly against the light hand-printed bruise there and she screamed in pain. She kept screamng for me not to touch her and get away from her. She threw the lamp at me for God's sake!

I've fled but I don't know how long I can keep them off my trail... I was passing a TV today while I was by the train station. There, on the news, it said they still have not caught the killer of Nicole Fletcher. But they accounced something on the TV... I'm an accessory to murder... They found my bloody finger prints at the crime scene... I'm at the train station now, and it's the middle of the day. I'm waiting for the train an--

There were two people, before Nicole died, that I could reply on. They were my family. I love them dearly.

Pandanko
Pan was always a bit of a pain in the bum, but he had helped me since I was young. He is much older then I, which helped since he supported me for about my entire life, considering I was an orphan from age four and up. But since I don't remember anything before meeting Pan at that young age, I've considered him my father figure. Since I was 'adopted' by him, he helped pay for my medical bills and medication and surgies and all of those things to make me better. I never did get better, I actually got a lot worse. Too bad.

Saargeras
Saar, even though he was always icy towards he and hateful everytime I opened my mouth, is like a brother towards me. When I found him while exploring during my years of highschool, I watched him for hours. I followed him, he never paid any mind to me, but I knew he knew I was there. I got him to open once about why he's blind, but when I tried to get a little personal about it, he struck me, got up and left. I just sat there and cried of course. I was younger then him. I was fifteen when I found Saargeras, he was atleast twenty three. I cried and he never looked back. He never did apolgize, but I guess I deserved it...

Oh dear, I don't have a link yet.
Then again, my page is far from done.
Nor do I have any links out, oops.

How I met this one person was by sheer accident. My adventure with him has brought me a litte courage and I've started to grow a backbone. I can't keep hiding.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
The moon was invisible, along with the rare stars in the sky. Pollution from the city had clogged all vision of stars or moon. The train had stopped for the night, it being quite late and such. It had stopped along a deserted area of the tracks, far from any stations. Something moved in one of the open boxcars, staring out at the brush around the rusty train tracks. It's arms were folded like a pillow under it's head. It suddenly sat up and moved into a shadowed part of the boxcar, wanting no one to see it if there was the rare occasion of sleep. She then yawned, not feeling tired though. She was silent as she moved to the farthest corner from the door.

torisaurus says:
He was in that blissful place, somewhere between consciousness and unconsciousness. He was aware of everything around him, but everything was surrounded by the haze that he often associated with dreams. Rekiyz yawned widely, just as the train shuddered to a stop. This successfully jerked him out of his reverie. He sighed, pulling himself into an upright position and looking around the dark train car. Of course, it didn't do much, as the entire car was shrouded in darkness. Just as he was about to slide into that dream-like state again, he heard a noise in the neighboring car, and he jerked awake, ears perked and steel gray eyes alert. But when he had moved, he hit one of the cardboard boxes piled up all over the car. Rekiyz groaned, sinking back to the floor, and rubbing the back of his head.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
She gasped, head whipping around as her own eyes grew wide in horrific shock. She froze, completely still and in mid step. Suddenly she stumbled, from trying to balance on one foot for so long. Alice went tumbling to the floor with a loud crash. Her boxcar was so far back on the train that no one should have heard it. She tried to scramble back to her feet, checking herself at the same time for any cuts or bruises. Any could result in death, no matter how minor they seemed. She was now facing the open door of the boxcar, staring at the deep darkness lurking outside of the boxcar.

torisaurus says:
Well, there it was again. Rekiyz ignored the pain- it was only a message, and he could choose to put messages on hold. Rekiyz lifted himself to his feet, extending his arms in a long stretch. He carefully made his way to the front of the boxcar, treading lightly on the creaky floorboards. He gently pushed the doors open, wishing he would have oiled them or something as they groaned. He glanced to his left, where he could have sworn he saw the dim silhouette of something remotely human-like. But then again, he had eyes like a hawk (literally), and he usually didn't imagine seeing things. He hand moved instinctively to his gun, which was currently in his pocket, and his finger wrapped around the trigger. He leaned back into the car so nobody could see him if they were looking his way, but moved so that he still had a good view of the person in the car next to him.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice's heart pounded in her throat and she gasped, hands groping behind her for the wall desperately. She knew she heard something, ears pricking to the slightest sound of something else. She had a sudden urge to go flying out of the boxcar and to beat it, but she knew she'd fall and hurt herself. She knew then she'd be in trouble. Her nails gently tapped against the wall and she shifted backwards towards it, her breathing was suddenly cut as she held it, trying to listen only to hear her own heart. Her brows furrowed slightly as she inhaled deeply then.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz hated the suspense, so he jumped lightly to the ground, creeping along the boxcars and peering into the one where he could hear the breathing of /someone/. Numerous plans and situations were running through his brain, and he decided to settle on the most direct (and dangerous) one. He had managed to locate her, and that was all the information he needed. Without warning, he leapt into the box, covering the gap between himself and Alice in three large steps. His arms wrapped around her with surprising strength, his hand covering her mouth, the other one holding the gun pointed to her head. Hey, couldn't take any chances. "Who are you?" he hissed into her ear, pressing the barrel of the gun further into her hair.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
She froze, unable to move. The second she felt the barrel against her head tears poured down her face. "No! No! I didn't do it!" She yelped into his hand. She shivered but didn't struggle. She didn't dare look at him from the corner of her eye though. After a moment, she got a grasp on reality, and yanked her head away from his hand and gasped for air. Her nose hadn't been giving her enough oxygen causing her to hyperventilate. She couldn't tell if it was really a cop of not, as she still hadn't dared take the chance of looking at him.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz's brow furrowed in confusion, but he quickly put that emotion aside, his hand once again moving to her mouth. He had a pretty good gut instinct, and it was telling him that she wasn't a threat. Still, he better check. "Who are you?" he repeated, putting the gun back in his pocket. Rekiyz glanced briefly over his shoulder, hoping some random hobo wasn't walking around and just so happened to see what was going. His attention returned to her, his cold eyes fixed on her face, which was currently staring at the wall in front of her.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
She suddenly shoved her arms towards him, knocking him back very little but at least it gave some space between the two of them. Her wide eyes were now fixed on the floor, her face blank and her hands had recoiled to her chest, placed one on top of another against her collar bone. She didn't shiver again, having calmed herself. She didn't respond though, she never did to a question like that. She learned the hard way that trusting anyone with vital information like that was just asking to be thrown into the slammer, which almost happened. That's why she was here tonight in the boxcar.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz gritted his teeth as her elbows found his ribs, but he had suffered worse than this before. His hands moved to her arms, and he yanked them away from her chest, twisting them behind her back. He wasn't leaving until he had an answer. But Rekiyz didn't speak for the next couple of minutes; instead, trying to figure out what the hell was freaking her out so much. Suddenly, the wrinkles on his forehead smoothed, and he looked down at her, his hard expression loosening. "I'm not a cop or anything, if that's what you're thinking," he said calmly. /I'm just a mutant hybrid on the run from some scientists who want to drag me back to my own living hell/, he thought silently to himself.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
That's when her head twisted to stare up at his face. /No, he's not a cop... but... he has a gun.../ She winced slightly as she felt his tight grip against her arms, she felt a slight pinching sensation and fear suddenly overcame her again. "Let go!" She snapped, trying to yank her arms away. It felt like bruises were forming where he was gripping. /Ow ow ow.../ She shut her eyes, turning her face so that it stared towards the ground, her hair falling towards her face.

torisaurus says:
His grip tightened. "I'll let go when you give me an answer," he answered calmly. Rekiyz swung her around so he was looking directly at here. Well, for the most part. Stray strands of dark hair obscured most of his eyes and a lot of his face, and the dark make it difficult to discern much of his features. But anyone could tell that he was tall, and extremely thin, though his strength was not proportional to his weight. "I'll ask again. Who. Are. You?" he reiterated, annunciating every word slowly and clearly.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says: Alice grew irritated with his treatment and looked up into his face. "Like I'm gonna tell you, scum." She glared at him, though this wasn't really in her nature. "How about you introduce /yourself/?" She said, her glare thickening slightly. She wasn't about to give herself up to this guy, having not a clue who he was. "And why do you want to know so much?" She added. Alice still felt the slightest pinching in her arms, but she didn't show the fear of it on her face, but it was there, in her eyes.

torisaurus says:
His eyebrows raised in surprise. He wasn't used to anybody talking to him like this. Then again, he tried to avoid conversing with strangers as much as possible. A large grin lit up his face, and he threw back his head and laughed. "I'm on the run. For all I know, you're a cop who's been trackin' me the whole time, lookin' for the right time to arrest me." Rekiyz's grin faded to a cocky smirk. "Either way, if you don't tell me who you are, I'll kick your butt all the way to Thursday." Well, so much for manners. He had never been taught on how to treat a girl. Then again, she wasn't acting much like one.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
F* * * you!" She spat. Her glare turned towards the open boxcar, head tilting down slightly. "Like I'm gonna believe your bull. You've got a /gun/ for God's sake. Hah! Like an "accessory to murder" like me is gonna believe you!" She didn't look at him when she said this, feeling slightly threatened by what he said. Alice wanted to appear as tough as possible in front of him, but he was bigger... "And I don't have a gun so to hell with your 'I'm a cop' theory..." She muttered, still not looking at him.

torisaurus says:
All part of the job, hun," he yawned, his tone sounding bored, when, in truth, he would like to knock her out and drag her to a sketchy part of town. No, he'd use that as a last resort. "But since we've established that neither of us are cops, I don't see why you still have your shorts in a bunch." He grinned, letting her arms drop to her side. He leaned against the back of the boxcar, his face the picture of nonchalance. He flicked his hair to one side, revealing at least one steel blue eye, which was twinkling in amusement. "Accessory to murder, huh? So what are you so worried about, then? Criminals don't rat on each other, y'know," he intoned, yawning again

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
She rubbed her arms where he had been gripping, they didn't hurt anymore. /Good, no bruises./ She didn't look at him. "Hah." She murmured, not entirely amused with his attitude. She crossed her arms then. "No not really..." She looked up then, looking back at him, her eyes memorizing his face. "I'm not actually a criminal, but the general population believes it to be true..." She wasn't sure if she had made sense, since Alice was kind of just rambling to herself. She tended to talk aloud to herself. It was just habit.

torisaurus says:
His eyes narrowed. Then again, why should he be surprised? She hadn't seemed like the type, anyway. But that made the whole unwritten law of 'criminals don't rat criminals out' completely void. She would have no qualms with just going to the police and telling them some random guy had assaulted her on a train. And he couldn't let that happen. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, his tone suddenly wary. Really, he didn't care too much. Rekiyz was just stalling for time, thinking of ways to keep her quiet so no one would find out he had passed through.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
I'm running, like you. But different scenario. I come home from school. Bang, best friends dead on the floor and they find my finger prints on the murder weapon and suddenly I'm wanted as an accessory to murder." She kind of shrugged it off, seeing that if that were really true, she might have killed herself by now for killing her best friend. But since it wasn't true, she just shrugged it off on the outside, but was completely tormented on the inside. Her pale pink eyes continued to study his face, dark lines under her eyes noticeably visible.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz snorted. School. Pfft, what a waste of money. He was doing just fine without knowing how to solve a bunch of hard equations, and diagramming sentences. None of that stuff taught you how to survive, and survival was more important to him than making a timeline of American history. His lolled back as she continued talking, so he was looking up at the ceiling. His face paled slightly. What she was describing seemed awfully familiar. "What was your roommate's name?" he asked casually, trying not to sound too interested.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Nicole. Nicole Fletcher. We were rooming on the far east side of town..." Her hands slipped into her khaki short's pockets. She continued to look at his face, shaking her head slightly. "I was actually gonna skip being a sophomore and go directly to being a junior because I was so much more advanced and so much smarter then the rest of my class..." She looked down at her feet then. "'Teach said I woulda made a great scientist... though I really wanted to be a doctor..." She sighed.

torisaurus says:
Oh, /crap/. He remembered her- he remembered all of his jobs. Her boyfriend had caught her cheating, and had contacted Rekiyz. He had been given direct orders to kill her. But someone had seen him enter the apartment, and the only way to cover up the evidence was to make it seem like someone else had done it.... His mind was racing, but his handsome face was still a mask of indifference. "I'm- ah, sorry to hear that," he mumbled, averting his eyes. His body stiffened at the mention of 'doctor' and 'scientist,' and he shifted uncomfortably. "And why the hell would you want to be a doctor?" he growled, lifting his eyes, and for a second, all the pain and fear he experienced during the first fourteen years of his life could be seen. But it was gone so fast; someone could have thought they simply imagined it.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice shifted away from him from his reaction. She felt hurt by his commentary, having had such a great passion for being a doctor or scientist and hopefully she would be able to help herself as well as others through that line of work. "Because maybe then I could sleep at night or get a paper cut and not die!" She spat. She was obviously upset by what he said. She turned away from him on her heels, facing the open boxcar door with crossed arms over her chest. Her ears pinned against her head slightly. "...jerk." she muttered under her breath.

torisaurus says:
His lips curled into the beginnings of a sneer. He was rather taken aback by this comment. "I'm sorry that I don't find pleasure in ripping someone open and staring at their guts," he retorted, joining her at the front of the boxcar. "Hey, if someone's in bad enough shape to end up at the hospital, then they need to die. Natural selection. Survival of the fittest. Whatever you want to call it." He grinned, picking up the word she had mumbled. "Thanks, you're pretty nice yourself."

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Her cheeks flushed slightly and she turned her head opposite direction of which he stood. "Why are you even still here?" She spat back, still very irritated with him. She still hadn't stated he name or reason of being in the boxcar. But anyone could infer that she was hiding from the police. That's when she sat down, hanging her legs off the edge of the boxcar, the swung back and forth without rhythm. Alice was now looking at the ground a few feet below her feet.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz grinned. He loved it when he got under people's skin. Yet another one of his talents. "Why am I here? Like I said, I'm on the run, and I want to keep moving. I don't like staying in one spot for long, for different reasons," he replied, shrugging his shoulders in nonchalance. He let the awkward silence hang between them, something he could literally /feel/ surrounding them. "You still haven't told me your name," he said suddenly, his piercing staring down at her head.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Her legs continued to swing, trying to keep herself from feeling the awkwardness of the conversation. She literally jumped at the sound of his voice, having not expected it. Her ears pinned further against her head as she felt him staring upon her. "And you haven't told me yours," she replied, still refusing to state her name. Though she was pretty sure she could trust him with her name, she still wouldn't open her mouth to say it aloud, though.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz shrugged. "I asked first," he responded, closing his eyes halfway. Then, suddenly, the train began to move. His eyelids flew open, and he was about to jump out of this car and move to the next one, but by now, the train had reached 30 mph, and it would mean revealing his wings to get to the neighboring car. So he grabbed her by the waist, lifting her farther back into the car. He proceeded to close the heavy box door, leaving the interior completely shrouded in black once again.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice yelped as she was yanked up from her sitting position by him and pulled into the darkness of the boxcar. "I-I thought the car didn't run this late... It usually doesn't..!" Alice was quite shocked but then she looked back at him. "Well I asked second. And second's the best." she didn't mean for the second part to come out, but she had just remembered something about her childhood and when it was one of those 'I asked first, well I asked second' situations. She shook her head slightly, breaking her own train of thought.

torisaurus says:
Doesn't take much to freak you out, does it?" Rekiyz grumbled, setting her down on the hard floor of the boxcar. He could see easily in the dark, and he located a pile of old bags that must have been used to hold grain or hay or... something. He took them for himself, once again oblivious to the fact that he /should/ have offered them to her. "Well, then, I guess we'll just be referring to each other as 'hey you' 'till someone is ready to give in," he chuckled, letting his eyes close. He was now relying on his other senses to alert him if she was planning on attacking him or... something. "So what do you plan on doing next?" he inquired in an effort to start a conversation.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Like once I get out of this boxcar?" she asked, irritated at his ungentlemanly actions. She sat down cross-legged on the creaky, hard floor. A little uncomfortable. She just stared at him, leaning her shoulder against the wall slightly, being kind of careful of the possibility of splinters. She then decided it was safe and leaned her head against the wall of the boxcar.

torisaurus says:
No duh," he replied, smirking. "Geez, I thought you were training to be a doctor." Rekiyz grinning, opening his eyes and glancing over at her. "I though they were supposed to be smart...?" He let his voice trail off, although his cocky grin still lingered. He looked away, wishing desperately that he could unfold his wings. God, they hurt like /hell/. But he couldn't let her see them. Then he'd defiantly have to find a way to keep her quiet.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Yeah like I can just waltz back into school. They'd arrest me. And /I'm/ the smart one." She rolled her eyes and then lied down, using her arms like a pillow once more. She yawned softly. She wasn't really tired though. Alice was insomniac, and never had truly slept a day in her life. Which was scary because she should be dead by now.

torisaurus says:
Yo, I didn't say anything about going back to school," he replied curtly, rolling his eyes in exasperation. "But do you just plan on ridin' this train for the rest of you life or what?" He planned on staying here for a little while longer. He hadn't slept in days, and of course, he couldn't sleep in the air. But the location of his job was still a good five hundred miles away, so that guaranteed at least another five days of sleep.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
I dunno. I can't really go stay with anyone since I don't have anyone to go stay with..." she frowned momentarily, remembering Nicole... She shoved the emotions aside for her late friend and yawned again. She reached up, itching her dry eyes. She wrinkled her nose slightly and got comfortable once more. "I might just ride the train outta town. Go somewhere else for awhile..." She shrugged her shoulder.

torisaurus says:
G'luck finding a place," Rekiyz mumbled, finding it harder and harder to stay awake. He closed his eyes, listening to the soft rumbling of the train as it sped through the countryside. Eventually, he succumbed to the blackness that had been threatening to overwhelm him for the past day or so. His soft snores were lost to the noise of the train, so it was hard to tell if he was asleep or not.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice just lay there, watching his motionless body. She watched his chest rise and fall but she was not totally sure he was sleeping. She sighed. "Tomorrow's the day..." She murmured adn rolled over, her back to him. She closed her eyes and listened to the train glide along the tracks, knowing she wouldn't fall asleep anyway.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz wasn't sure what time it was, but judging by the golden light that lanced in through the boxcar doors, he was assuming it was around ten or so. Rekiyz yawned, acknowledging the fact that the train had stopped. He extended his arms in a long stretch, lifting himself to his feet and glancing over at Alice. Of course, he was unaware of her condition, so he automatically assumed she was sleeping. Still, he waited until he was outside the boxcar with the doors closed to unfold his wings, sighing with relief as the uncomfortable pain faded away. He made a running takeoff, enjoying the feeling of freedom that flying in the sky provided. But he wasn't flying just for the hell of it- he was /starving/. So Rekiyz located the nearest McDonalds, tucked his wings back against his back, and waltzed inside. They had just switched over to lunch, so he ordered one large Dr. Pepper, four Big Macs, three large orders of fries, and the 10-piece chicken nuggets for her. See, he wasn't completely without manners! After disappearing into the woods that surrounded the outer portion of the city, he took to the air, once again hiding his wings before he jumped into the boxcar. "Breakfast is here," he announced, tossing the chicken nuggets over to here and sliding to the ground next to his makeshift bed.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
She was settling in the corner and caught the nuggets before they hit the floor. "Guess you're not /so/ bad." She said as she opened the box, smiling inwardly. Alice was terribly hungry. She was very slow when eating, not sure when her next meal would be. She picked up a nugget and bit into it. She looked towards the door, seeing that it was now daylight. She was still hidden in the shadows of the boxcar so you still couldn't really see what she looked like all too well.

Rekiyz took one of the Big Macs out of the bag and began unwrapping it, staring thoughtfully at the boxcar door. He got up and walked over to it, opening the doors slightly, but so the interior of the car was illuminated. It was a beautiful day, and he really hated to miss out on it. He moved into the sunlight, relishing the warmth it provided. He dug into the greasy, calorie-filled hamburger, scarfing it down in under a minute. Obviously, the scientists had failed to teach him table manners as well. He finished off the rest of his meal within the next ten minutes, and he tossed the empty bag carelessly into the corner, sipping on his half-filled Dr. Pepper. "Yeah, I'm actually pretty awesome." That characteristic, cocky grin spread across his face again.

Alice rolled her eyes and finished up her meal. That's when she herself stood up and stretched. Nothing clothed her feet, they were bare. She wore a pale green tank top and her way-too-big-because-they're-Pan's-pants khaki cargo shorts, held up by a thin black leather belt. She ran her fingers through her hair as she walked towards the door. The sunlight made her pale eyes sparkle as she pushed the boxcar even more open. She sat down a foot away from him, rolling her eyes at his comment. "Yeah, yeah..." she said, staring out at the woodsy scenery all around them.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz glanced at the empty chicken nuggets box, wishing she hadn't eaten them all. Yeah, he had definitely reached the 3,000 calories he needed to function, but he was still hungry. He was /always/ hungry. Sighing, he turned away. Now that the boxcar was almost fully open, you could make out his features. He wasn't that bad looking, and his charisma seemed to make him more attractive. A mop of dark purple-gray fell in front of his eyes, and he didn't bother to move it. Thin white trails could be seen on either side of his face, although his hair helped in covering those up. He was dressed in a tuxedo, though it looked like it could have stood a wash, and he wore black Converse. Rather odd apparel, for a criminal who was on the run.

Alice looks out of the corner of ehr eye at his get up and smirked slightly before staring back out towards the forest. It was calming and quite peaceful. Her legs began to swish back and forth then and she had had enough of not knowing his name. "Alice." She said, not looking at him. Her pink eyes didn't move from the spot she stared out.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz blinked a few times, thinking he must have misheard her. But then it dawned on him that she had just told him her name. "See, now was that so hard?" he grinned. "Rekiyz," he added, figuring she'd rip his head off if he didn't tell her his name. He continued staring out of the forest, and without warning, he brushed past her, jumping lighting to the ground. "Holla' when the train starts moving," he called, and without a look over his shoulder, he trotted off into the forest. He wasn't planning on wasting a whole day in the boxcar when it was bright and warm outside.

She blinked and watched him walk off. "O-Okay?" She said in reply, not quite sure what he was gonna go do. She felt like following, but didn't want to miss the train if it started up again and just left her here. She wouldn't survive out there. She wrinkled her pink nose slightly and lied back, basking in the warmth of the sun. It felt nice to just relax for a moment. But she then sat up. /Geez, I seriously need a bath./

torisaurus says:
He had half-expected, half-hoped that she would follow. After a few minutes of just walking around, he assumed that she had decided to just stay on the train. Fine, then. Rekiyz shrugged of his jacket, tossing it over his shoulders, unfolding his wings and showing off his full fourteen-foot wingspan. He smiled, continuing to trapse through the forest. Yeah, he hated the treetops obscuring the sky, but it was too much of a risk to take to the air. He sighed quietly to himself, emerging into a small clearing with a creek running through it. The sight of water reminded him that he could use a bath. So since no one was around, he took of his shirt and pants, tossing his clothes a few feet away from the stream, and jumped in.

Alice laid there for the longest time, that's when she heard the water nearby. She sat up. The train had stopped recently, so she knew it wouldn't be leaving for awhile. She hopped off the train and began to carefully walk towards where she thought the water was. When she saw the stream she was so relieved that she sighed aloud. She continued to advance towards it. When she got to the edge she looked around, not hearing or seething anyone. She was still very alert as she began to undo the belt of her shorts and they fell to the ground. That's when she took off her tank top and quickly got into the water, sinking down in it until she had sunken all the way down to her shoulders. The cool water felt so good against her body which seriously needed a bath.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz was completely submerged. But as he had sound out, due to his hollow bones and air sacks, it was rather hard to stay underwater for long. He surfaced quickly, shaking the excess water from his hair and wings. And then he saw Alice. His face paled, and he quickly retracted his wings, but it was too late. He knew she had already seen them. "What the /hell/!?" he yelled in surprise, the expression on his face resembling that of a deer in headlights.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice's head spun around but she had not seen his wings. She yelped out of embarrassment, having not see him when she got into the river. She suddenly dove under the water and stayed under, trying to comprehend exactly what had happened just then. /He wasn't there! But now he is?! What the hell!/ She squeezed her eyes shut, bring her hands to her face as she scrubbed them against her face. She felt her face grow bright red from embarrassment. She turned herself under the water so that her back was to him, but she stayed under for a little while longer.

torisaurus says:
Rekiyz blinked in confusion. Only one person had every seen his wings, and that was by accident. But they had pointed and gawked. But she... she didn't seem to even acknowledge it. Then it clicked that perhaps she hadn't seen his wings. He sighed in relief, sinking lower into the water. Hell, just because /she/ had arrived didn't mean he was reading to get out. Just as long as he didn't turn back to her, then it was all good. He wasn't embarrassed easily, and he didn't care if she saw his- well, you know.

threeb o t t l e sofr e dwine says:
Alice then came up for air, her back to him. She refused to turn back around and she was extremely self conscious at this point. She gently scrubbed her hands over her arms, her head tilted towards. Her face was a bright shade of red and her eyes were wide with embarrassment. /I-I can't believe I didn't see him before I jumped in. H-How am I supposed to get out without him seeing me?!/ She thought her face darkened. She shut her eyes then and continued to scrub.
