Another thing, Makeables were created by _fluffy_chic_ and I am not the first to make anthro adoptables, and I never made dolls, I just squashed two ideas together....the only thing that is mine are the line adopts...If other people do it, sure, I don't mind as long as they don't take the credit for thinking of it...but otherwise, I'll have my personal satisfaction xD

Also, I'll neomail you if you don't pick up your adopt after a while, but how to get the code, because it would take FAR too much room to have little pick up boxes, I'm sorry, but you right click and go to "View image" and it should take you to a seperate page with just that image, and copy and paste that url, take the code from below and paste it in.

Custom-Yur-Own

Rules/Instructions
So like, rules are pretty much the same as the adopt ones, but it'd do you good to read the instructions.

So I made these makeable dolls because far too often I see new people on neo, or not strong artists, go to someone, give them a description of their pet and the person get it wrong and make the owner upset-OR I find their art not strong and hard to follow...so here it is, nice and easy!! It's a doll, having all componates, but also a makeable for you put in the colors and draw in all extra fancy stuff (or if you don't think you're strong enough to do so, you can ask Elf (after checking status a'course) to do it for you) so your pet is perfect!

Now, I did design these so they can be used in paint (yayz!) Of course, if you have a program you know how to use (there is nothing worst then seeing your perfect lineart ruined by bad and blurry coloring D=) you can always color it there. Right annnyway, so these are paint capable. I'll just make this step-by-step.

Putting it together:
Step1: Open Paint and make quite a large canvas, so you can move stuff around easily, and you always crop it down later
Step2: Hover over the base, right click and go to COPY, not Save or Save As, COPY
Step3: Stick it in paint, and move it towards the center of your canvas (again for easy movement and adding of stuff)
Step4: Now, make sure your select tool is on TRANSPARENT, this is VERY important, because if you don't you'll cover have your base with white, and that's just bad, okay?
Step4b: Get your other componates and paste them in.
Step5: With the add-on still selected, move it over to the respected area on the base, and fiddle around until you find a place that slots. I drew all parts right against the base so if you do it well it should look perfect
Tips: I'd take wings last because the stupid thing about paint is you can only select with a box, so you can take chunks out of your other stuff
Put in hooves before feathering, cause feathering goes over the hooves
Put te horns in before the manes, also

Adding in your pet's personal items:
I really can't help you on how to draw it, but I'd say use a different color to draw it in and then go back and erase the black within it, and then paintbucket it black. And the insides err...paintbucket those the light gray and then follow the light source and put in respected shading and highlighting

Coloring:
I've made it incredibly easy for you to color, there's three different shades put in, white for highlights, light gray for base color (the true color of your pet) and gray for shading. And the lineart is even colorable, if you want to go that far
Okay anyway
Step1: Select the desired color from the palette (double click to get even more perfect color)
Step2: Paintbucket the LIGHT GRAY
Step2b: Do it for all areas
Step3: Go back to your palette colors and double click, select a DARKER version of that color, and paintbucket the GRAY
Step3b: Do it for all areas
Step4: Go back yet again, and select a LIGHTER color now, paintbucket the WHITE
Step4b: You know what step4b is

Coloring Lineart
Step1: Pick colors that are even darker then your shading of that color
Step2: Zoom in (magnifying glass) and using the pencil tool, mark off certain black parts from each other
Step3: Paintbucket the black in that area
Step4: Do so for the rest of the areas

Finishing it off:
Select your makeable and move it to the top corner if you havent already, and shrink the canvas so it fits. I'd save it as a .PNG if you can, because bitmaps happen to be the BIGGEST POSSIBLE FILES, and also the most annoying things to upload. Paint has crappy .GIFS and .JPEGS so just...Don't use them. Period. Don't. Unless you have a program that has nice high quality versions, like Adobe Photoshop.
And....THAT'S IT!!!! Aren't you happy now?!?! Spiffy new picture of your pet, easily made and can be used as a ref! ^^
If you want to flip the picture, to get your pet's other side, put it all together and then go to image, flip horizontal.
ALSO!!! The feathering goes up to the HIGHLIGHTS of the legs, not the lineart.
