(Note: Aduial often speaks in double words due to an odd faerie quirk.)
This is the realm of Aduialendorlia the Unseelie faerie draik princess. From the growing darkness she emerges, her lavender wings fluttering, her markings mimicing the shades of the sky upon white. She is small in size, no larger then your average housecat. Her indigo eyes regard you inquisitively.
Suilad, greetings. the princess adresses you with a voice like tiny chiming bells. I am impresively impressed, you have entered my realm wilingly and with no fear. Are you here for the stories perchance, one of the curiously curious who wish to know about myself and my sisterly sister? Ah, yes, please take a seat upon the grass and I shall regale you with our tale.
~*~
The soothsayers said that we were complimenting opposties. I was destined to be Unseelie, while my sister would forever be my opposite in many ways.
For those who are not in the know, let me describe 'seelie' and 'unseelie'.
~*~
Let me give you the basics of the two faerie courts.
The two courts are eternal rivals. Together they represent all that is light and dark, good and evil, honorable and chaotic in life. Traditionally the Unseelie faeries rule from the darker months of Samhain (October 31rst) until the spring of Beltaine (May 1rst). It is obviously obvious that the Seelie rules the other half of the year.
~*~
I cannot put this into goodly good words, but I adore my twin more then anything else that I can think of. We are like one soul, a split spirit in two bodies.
Sometime later I was able to persuade my sister to have an adventure with me away from our parents. If you can pin-point a moment, that was the very day that I was positive that we were not alike. Yet nothing could have prepared me for what was to happen to us next. ~*~
It was the Beltaine celebration of May Day, a Seelie celebration. The mood was airy and light, and even my darker moods were swayed by the festive festivities.
I awoke with a magical golden collar around my neck, held tight by a magically magical thin leash of golden chain. About me was a gilded cage of gold, and my sister was chained much the same across from me. An Unseelie Sidhe (elven) woman placed a dark cloth over my sister's cage and spirited her off into the night. I wept piteously until the tears could flow no longer.
~*~
I had lost track of time and am unsurely sure if it was weeks, months or even years before I was able to see my sweet twin once again.
It was then that I learned of the secretive secret. The King and Queen each had a realm in the same land, and were at war, but they loved each other dearly. So secretly they would meet at this cottage. Aara was a gift to the King from my mistress. It was that night we decided to work hardly hard to bring them together happily, even if it took us years and years. ~*~
Again, time did not seem to pass by normaly in that faerie realm. So again I am not surely sure how long it had been before Aara remembered the pendants.
You see, our Queen Mother had a powerfuly powerful amulet that she kept. We had found it once before she took it from our hands and hid it away.
Aara's light faerie had returned with her half of the stone... our plan would finally be set into motion. ~*~
I should tell you that by this time I had aged quite a bit. I only knew that time had passed as I found myself growing and maturing.
During the dark of the night as our master's slept in the cabin my sister and I spent the night weaving our spell and charm. Our amulets pulsed with faerie glows as we whispered suggestions into the tapered ears of the royal sidhe. Content that come the dawn they would finally resolve a peace between them we spoke of another dire issue. We could not risk another kidnapping or faerie raide brought into our home kingdom, where we belonged. Darkly we plotted to use the necklaces to collapse the portal, forever sealing the King and Queen away from the land of our birth.
~*~
Suffice it to say, our plan worked. Soon after the King and Queen were wed, agreeing to again follow the old tradition of trading rulership for half a year to the other. It was on Samhain night when we again slipped away, ready for the portal to open for what would be the last time.
~*~
How does the saying go? Something aboutthe best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. That little snitch of a goblin had told the Queen of our plan, and we found time to be of the essence.
It was a race for the portal, so that we could arrive just moments before the rulership passed from Seelie to Unseelie.. so my sister could actually use it to return home.
If it wasn't for the timely rescue of Aara's former master, I would not be here today telling you this story. The portal was nearly gone before the rulership turned to Unseelie, and I dove through.. returning to a land that I had not seen for what felt like many decades. ~*~
So that is our story. I would like to say that we lived happily ever after, but now more then ever I realise how differently different I am from my family. I have changed too much, and soon I believe that I shall find a place to suit my darkly dark unseelie nature. ~*~ About Aduial
Aduial is an unseelie faerie draik. She is 'dark', selfish and rather spiteful, but not evil (although she likes to lead others to believe that she is crueler then she seems). Yet still there are times where her morals seem 'askew'.

Although Dad has seemed to have become more over-protective since our return.
I have known him since I was a hatchling, and no matter what he has always stuck by me. The charm bracelette that I have wrapped around my tail was a gift from him.
I'm not saying another word about him.
Evening Falls Enya These lyrics I find so very moving. They remind me so closely how how I felt while in captivity, and how different I feel from my family... now that I am home.
As I walk the room there before me a shadow
Forever searching; never right,
Even though I leave will I go on believing

I've been so sick lately,
Like a fairytale, our story is told,
And with twilight flames your body is,
Now, I'd die if another day passes,

This was a special gift from HinoHikaru given to me on my hatching day. It is said to mature and grow as I do.
