About Chombies Chombies are one of many different species that exist in Neopia. Chombies naturally come from the prehistoric land of Tyrannia, although many have ventured as far as the Lost Desert and Faerieland.As well as your basic four colours, Chombies come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes ranging from the brightly coloured Rainbow Chomby to the amazing Robot! In order to own one of these more unusual Chombies you will need to find a magical paint brush or potion. As you browse through Neopia's shops you may be fortunate enough to pick up some Chomby themed items. To look at some items having to do with Chombies, you may go to the section called 'Chomby Items' in the Navigation. How to Pronounce Chomby is pronounced as Chom-bee.Chombies is pronounced as Chom-bees. Pretty simple, right? :) Trivia 001. Chombies are currently the 50th most popular Neopet out of 54 with 387,801 created. (Doesn't count morphed or labbed)002. The Chomby was found in the land of Tyrannia, a prehistoric kingdom miles beneath the surface of Neopia. It is a shy plant eater, and is happiest when munching on leaves and grasses. How to Get A chomby Create The cheapest and possibly easiest way to get a Chomby is to create one on Chomby Carnival (Chomby Day), celebrated on March 22. They are only released in 'batches' a few couple to few hundred at different times of the day.Morph  Another way to obtain a Chomby is to morph an existing pet, but this is most expensive way to get one. There are many different morphing potions and you can find all of them under the navigation section under 'Chomby Items'.
Trade It is also possible to trade one of your pets for someone else's who is willing to give their Chomby to you for the right pet.Adopt  The last way to get a Chomby is to adopt one from the pound if you are lucky enough. Since Chombies are Limited Edition pets, they don't just sulk around in the pound and are usually quickly adopted unless they are really badly named. XD (You can drag the image to the left and drag it up to the address bar for a full size.) I found this Chomby during one of my many visits to the pound, because that is pretty much all I do when I have an empty spot on one of my side accounts. XD
