Restocking!

There are many ways to have a successful shop.You should always keep in mind that you will lose some money but soon enough you'll make double that loss.Not all people know howto run a successful shop but allpeople can.But step by step you'll become a great shop!And also keep this in mind you wont have a great shop in a second "You have to know how to crawl before you can walk.And you have to know how to walk before you can run.I would also like to add that there are no "secrets" to having a successful shop.No codes no nothing!

Taking Steps

Well if you dont have a shop i think you should open one lol.Think really well about what you want to sell.Then you can sell one or two items but you should first pick just one item then when you see you can handle it than sell two items if you want to.You should also think if you have enough neopoints to restock with everyday.Sometimes people end up closing their shop because they could'nt keep up.So just really think about how much you can make to restock with because that is like one of the most important things you must remember!

Shop Smart

Where to buy your items..?Well you should try and buy them from their main shop first.If you cant find the main shop look around then ask.Items bought from the main shops are less expensive and give you a better profit.If you want to do something else and the shop is still not stocked then you should oepn a new window and keep checking every min.Some internets like Internet Explorer or Fire Fox allow you to open new tabs.If you can do that use it!Some of you guys are really lazy so you just want to shop from the shop wizard,well i think that you should wait so you can make a better bigger profit.

Price Your Items

Ok so how to price you items well here is a thought the shop wizard!Yup that is the best way to price your items.And you should never sell the item at the same price you but because you could have a really good chance of making a bigger profit than the one you were gonna make.Do NOT over price your shop some people over price their shop very stupidly and no one buy from them so dont do that unless you really want to but mostly you shouldnt.You should have some sales on the items that cant be bought and they will be bought.

Your Customers

How and where to get some really great customers.Well you do advertise at the board thats one of the most important steps you have to take!Then you should really think about joining a mall one person advertises and you and every other person in that mall might have a chance of getting a customer.But ofcourse you will still need to advertise.

Other Tips! - When haggling use your keypad and get to know where the keys are.
- Also when haggling choose numbers close together, 1111, 1212, 8585
- If you're doing something else, have your shop on the left hand side of your screen with the clock showing so you know when to refresh.
- The 3rd day of the month is half-price day. This means all items in the shops are half price so go get them!!! Major restocking day.
- Try to have a good internet connection speed. The faster your computer, the easier it will be to grab those items.
- If you get bored, go find a restock board to talk on. This will help the time go by faster instead of sitting at the computer for an hour refreshing one shop.
- Please get to know the items. If you don't you can lose some valuable NP.
- If you have a question ask. Its better to ask then to make a huge mistake down the line.
- Just because you are an RSer, that doesn't mean you're better than others. If you have this sort of attitude you end up bringing down all RSers. Its sterotyping.
- Keep a few guides on your favorites, so if you forget something you have it right there.
- I recommend if you're trying out a few shops to write down your profits each day so you can find out whats your best place to restock at.
- Enjoy yourself. If you don't enjoy restocking then why do it? In life you need to do things you enjoy, and this is one of them. ♥The Book Shop Get the interesting looking books.
Before getting these the boring looking ones.
After you got the interesting looking books and there are some plain looking books left, then purchase the ones 600 nps and lower. Got it? Got it? Gooood. =)
♥The Pharmacy The medicines that stock in 1,2, and 3 should all be bought. They will sell for a great price. Also, some medicines that you can buy and sell for a good profit stock in huge bulk (sometimes over 20!) and you should be able to get at least one. Here's a list of items to buy:Tasty Pie, Grumble Be Gone Tablets, Magic Goop, Extra Thick Goggles, Neck Brace, Cactopus Cream, Sporkle Syrup (only u/b that stocks at Pharmacy), Honey Blossom Extract, Spyder Juice Elixir, Potion of Containment, Mushroom Ointment, and Hoochie Coochie Tablets"
OTHER FACTS: when i used to restock here, i got a good & steady profit, but then it was boring. =O lolol. hehe & during my whole time there (about five months ?) i saw only ONE sporkle syrup on sale. but then i didnt even touch it because i got the medicinal soap. :] yay.
♥ The Snow Foods Shop Ok, you want to watch out for the Magical Chia Pops, cause they make you a very good profit. Watch out, cause sometimes it says Non-Magical Chia Pop and if you're absent-minded like me then that's pretty bad news. Ok, you don't want Snow Puffs of any kind. Unless, it has a pretty name like Strawberry Vanilla Snow Puff which I highly doubt it would have it.
GET iCE LOLLiES!!!! BiG profit if you do (not as big as magical chia pops though lol). =) Especially ones that have names like Faerie Kougra Ice Lolly which I have in my shop that is not selling. x_X So go to my shop!! Lol. Anyways, watch out for the Ice Lolly, not a good profit. That's all I know that is not a good profit. If you know anymore Lollies that aren't good, then neomail me ;).
♥ The Spooky Foods Shop Loads of good items! Well, 'cept for the ones that are always there. Ok just remember this: buy the item that says 1,000 nps and above. Lol. All of the junky items are like 200-600 nps at its going cost, so do not purchase those. I heard you could buy a Snorkle Snout there for, oh say 1,000 nps. :O Lol! =)
♥ The Igloo Garage Sale You hafta have your firewall disabled to go into it. But then you might get a virus like me but then it got fixed. That's what dads that work as an engineer are for eh ;D?
Yes, codestones for 50 nps and gourmet food for 200 nps. It's all there. You can only buy one item per restock, so choose wisely. Look at the bottom first, cause that's what I do. Erh, I'm not doing well in it so, x_X. Don't buy the smoothies, I don't know if they sell slushies, ahhh someone needs to tell me what you should look out for. =).
♥ The Space Weaponry There are usually the lil token thingys that sell for 1k and re-sell for about 16k. Since its a off-map place, not many people visit.
Also, get the ones that only have a few in stock. Do not get the MechaBerry Bomb or the Battered Grundo Battle Helmet.
♥ The Bakery Anything 'exotic' or 'rare' looking that has usually between 1 and 3 in stock. Usually around 1000-4000NP is a good item, but you have to watch out for some items."
♥ The Chocolate Factory Any mint or orange chocolates are good, and most of the time dark is also good. I also like to buy the candy-looking things like Sweet Necklaces and Root Beer Barrels and all that. Dont buy milk/white chocolate unless you KNOW it's a good profit and all that."
♥ Neopian Post Office Kiosk (stamps) You can get a huge profit here.One should carry about 20k here to buy the stamps that cost 12k-17k. Basically you should buy:Holographic, Misprint, and old looking stamps, stamps that stock for 5000 nps exactly, all Neoquest and Neoquest 2 stamps, Holographic/Misprint/Old looking stamps, and those that stock in one. The more time you spend there, the more you will know what to buy."
