The informations in this petpage were found after a careful research and all used websites will be credit.
If there is anything missing that you would like to see explained here, if there is any mistake, wrong link or if you have any question or suggestion, please neomail my owner filipa_ using the button bellow

If I am not wrong, this page can be viewed correctly in all screen resolutions.
Thank you for coming and enjoy!

Faerie Basics

Faeries are female magical creatures that live in Neopia. Although most people may not know, there are three kind of faeries: The Spell Faeries, The Ubber Faeries and The Unique Faeries.
The Spell Faeries are the most common ones, the ones Balthazar catches with bottles and can bless your pet (explained with more detail bellow); the Ubber Faeries are sort of the most powerful ones of the Spell Faeries (for example, there are several fire faeries but there is one fire faerie more powerful than the others, that's the Ubber Fire Faerie), and finally there is the Unique Faeries, wich there is only one of each kind and they are even more powerful than the Ubber Faeries.
Find information about faeries in Neopets website, here.

Faerie Types

Spell Faeries
These are the basic faeries and there are six different kinds, that correspond to the six magical elements of Neopia: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, Light, Darkness.
You may know better this kind of faeries by the name of bottled faeries. What happens, is that some faerie catcher (usually Balthazar) catches these faeries and he imprisones them into bottles, that later he sells. These faeries are the ones that grant magical abilities to your pets if you release one of them and your pet has enough level to control her (but that I will explain more detailed bellow).
The Air Faeries are magical, joyous little creatures who love to dance on the wind. As a curiosity, there is a Neopets Staff Member, who's job is described as Air Faerie: cronjobbia
The Earth Faeries live in the forests of Neopia, making their homes between the branches of the tallest trees. They love to collect and store items, and try and hide themselves from the creatures far, far below.
Fire Faeries are mischievous urchins that inhabit the hotter realms of Neopia. They love nothing better than playing tricks and causing havoc wherever they go.
Swimming in the rivers and streams, unseen by most, are the Water Faeries. They can be heard singing quietly at night, but only if they aren't aware that you are near.
Living on clouds on the upper levels of Neopia are the radiant Light Faeries. Devoted to the cause of good, they will rarely stray deep down to the lower levels.
And lastly, the Dark Faeries, minions of the evil one himself. Lying in wait to tempt those weak of heart, the power granted by these evil imps is great, but at a price. Although it is viewed Dark Faeries as a whole are evil, this is not true. The Darkest Faerie helped create the kingdom of Altador, and a Dark Faerie is one of the guardians of the upcoming PSP game Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing. As of yet, no one knows who the evil one the Dark Faeries serve, or what HE is.

Ubber Faeries
Each kind of the Spell Faeries have a extra-powerful version. So, there is also six Ubber Faeries, that you may know better than you think because of the random quests that they ask neopians to do (also explained better bellow).

Unique Faeries
This type of faeries is called this way because there is only one faerie of each kind and they ae probably the ones you know better for several reasons. These faeries are: the Faerie Queen, the Fountain Faerie, the Battle Faerie, the Dung Faerie, the Grey Faerie, the Library Faerie, the Island Faerie, the Negg Faerie, the Snow Faerie, the Soup Faerie, the Space Faerie and the Tooth Faerie.

Famous Faerie

The Unique Faeries are famous because they're unique and because each one of them has a special function in the world of Neopia.
However, there are some Spell Faeries that are also famous mostly because of their participation in some plot or some function they have. These faeries and their stories are:

Psellia

Psellia (also known as The Dreamer) is an Air Faerie which doesn't come down to Neopia often, preferring to spend her time in the clouds. Instead, she sends messages below through her Harris, giving little gifts to bestow to those worthy of her attention.
Not much is known about Psellia who aided Meridell during their war against the forces of Lord Kass, whose efforts whisked away the dark clouds and let the sun shine through on the knights of Meridell as they attacked Darigan Citadel (Psellia managed to grab Jeran as he fell from Darigan Citadel, saving him and allowing him to recover and fight another day). While she isn't widely known around Neopia, Psellia is popular in Altador, being one of Altador's 12 heroes and founders. Her constellation is The Dreamer (On March 28, 2006, a group of clouds on the top right corner of the Altador map were clickable. Once there, clicking on one of the gaps in the clouds would reveal a pattern. After visiting the Archivist, players could head to the Observatory to find The Dreamer. The gems above Psellia's statue now glow and her chapter is added to the Book of Ages).

You can see the Battle for Meridell Plot, here.

Brianna

This faerie isn't well-known because she is only found on Lutari Island, available only to Neopets Mobile Users, to whom she gives special quests and prizes. She is also an Air Faerie.

Illusen

Illusen is the resident Earth Faerie of Meridell, whom she gives aid to in times of need. The arch-nemesis of Jhudora and long time rival of the Werelupe King, Illusen bestows quests on those willing at her glade in Meridell. She is a lover of nature and its blessed creatures.
Illusen takes part in the Darkest Faerie PS2 game, in wich she sensed The Darkest Faerie's return before anyone else, but before she could warn anyone she was attacked in her glade by the Werelupe King and his Werelupes. The Werelupe King stole Illusen's Charm and her glade was taken over by The Darkest Faerie. Later in the game, Tormund and Roberta found the charm in Werelupe Woods and brought it back to Illusen for help in Meridell.
There's a rumour that Illusen and Jhudora used to be friends. It is believed by some that Illusen moved to Meridell in order to get away from Jhudora, but it has never been confirmed.

See Illusen in the Gallery of Heroes, here

Ilere

Ilere (also known as Ilere of the Woods) is a deadly though beautiful Earth Faerie who lives in the Haunted Woods. She is well known in at least some areas of the Haunted Woods, including Neovia, and is a figure of many stories.
Ilere participation in The Tale of Woe:
As Reginald escaped with Sophie into the Haunted Woods while the whole of Neovia attacked their home, they came upon Ilere, who said there was no other safe place in the Haunted Woods for Sophie than with her. Sophie said she felt safe with her, so Reiginald allowed Ilere to take her. Ilere guided Sophie to an old shack filled with the tools she needed to survive, and left Sophie there.
10 years later, Sophie visits Ilere's home and asks her help for finding the Spirit of Slumber, to which Ilere called them mad and said the Spirit of Slumber was far too powerful, and told them to leave before they got hurt. Bruno then attacked Ilere in a rage, and while she defended herself with her magic Bruno got the upper hand. Before anything more developed, Sophie threw Ilere and Bruno apart with her magic. Caught in a magical spell by Sophie, Ilere acknowledged how powerful she had become, and when prompted by Sophie told her the Spirit of Slumber was an ancient spirit of a Neopet who had died long ago, before she ever came to the Haunted Woods. She then said there were others in the Haunted Woods who would know more about the spirit than her. As the trio turned to leave, Ilere said to Sophie, "For your own sake, I hope you fail.
It is said that she is not only associated with the earth element but also with the darkness.

Iyana

Iyana is an Earth Faerie that isn't well-known. Like most Earth Faeries, Iyana lives in a forest, making her home in the branches of the tallest tree. She is unique in appearance, having her whole body be tinted with the colour green.

Eithne

Eithne is a Fire Faerie who took part in the Mystery Island Volcano plot. There, Eithne prevented users and Neopets from exploring the Mystery Island volcano, which was in the midst of releasing a dangerous giant Moltenore (which she was helping release). Soon thereafter she disappeared, believed to have fallen into the volcano or eaten by the giant Moltenore. Of course, no one can say for certain.

You can see the Mystery Island Volcano Plot, here

Ember

Ember is a Fire Faerie who plays Gormball. Other faeries mock her for wanting to compete in the Annual Gormball Championships, but Ember doesn't care, as blessing Neopets and casting spells was boring to her. Focused on winning the championships, Ember succeded in Year 7.

Fuhnah

Fuhnah is a Fire Faerie. Not much is known about her, except that she is like most other fire faeries, living in the hotter realms of Neopia, and enjoys playing tricks and causing havoc.

Nuria

Nuria is a Fire Faerie from the Lost Desert who starred in the Lost Desert Plot. She is unique in appearance as her wings are made of flames.

Healing Springs Faerie

The Healings Springs Faerie is a Water Faerie. Using the healing powers of her Faerie type, she runs the Healing Springs where Neopets can be healed, cured and/or fed for free.
She may also give out certain items, including Snowballs and Healing Potions. Some of these items may also be bought from her.

Nereid

Nereid is a Water Faerie who prefers to remain hidden under the water. Neopians who go sailing off the coast of Mystery Island can sometimes hear her singing softly at night. In her Neopets TCG card released February 25, 2005 says she's been under the water for 300 years, and isn't wrinkled/pruned at all.

The Drenched

The Drenched are evil Water Faeries who cause mischeif around the waters of Maraqua.
In the Curse of Maraqua Plot, The Drenched take Jacques as a prisioner, that is rescued later by Garin and Isca that had fought with the three sisters and were victorious.
The Drenched were available to fight in the Battledome on June 16, 2005, with the release of a new Defenders of Neopia. They have a starting Hp of 600 and the Hp gain per win is 60. They have stolen a bottled water faerie.

You can see the Curse of Maraqua Plot, here.

Siyana

Siyana (also known as the First to Rise) is a Light Faerie who lives in Altador. She is one of the 12 heroes of Altador, and blessed the other mortal heroes with the gift of great longevity, ensuring their long and strong rule.
In the Altador Plot, The First to Rise constellation was released on April 1, 2006. Going back to the Restive Tomb and clicking on a tiny link in the bottom left corner of the image would show you a breathtaking view of Altador. Return to the Hall of Heroes, click on Sasha's statue and then on the window behind her. On the following page, clicking one of the spots of bright light on the ground will show the constellation. After locating the constellation in the sky, Chapter 3 in the Book of Ages will appear. Users could also visit the Astronomy Club to pick up an Astronomy Club Membership Badge.

You can read the Chapter 3 - The First to Rise of the Book of Ages, here.

The Three

The Three are three ghostly apparitions corrupt those in positions of power, especially when they are at their most desperate. They are embodiments of Greed, Ambition, and Revenge and take the spectral forms of a Gelert, a Faerie, and a Skeith. It is unknown which forms correspond to which flaw.
The Three were revealed during the Battle for Meridell, corrupted Lord Darigan and encouraged him to go to war and to use the Orb for his own purposes (Lord Kass was corrupted by The Three to succeed where Lord Darigan had failed. They admitted that Darigan's greed had failed them, and hoped Kass' wouldn't. When Lord Darigan returned and won against Kass in battle, The Three took him, leaving nothing of him except a trail of smoke, for he had "promised [them] everything [and] that's exactly what [they] will take in return", and then claimed that Lord Darigan would return to them eventually).

You can see the Battle for Meridell Plot, here.

Dark Faerie Sisters

The Dark Faerie Sisters, known as Malice, Spite, and Vanity, are the most devoted allies of The Darkest Faerie.
They feature in the Darkest Faerie PS2 Game: when The Darkest Faerie takes over meridell, the dark Faerie sisters tell her that she has been forgotten for almost one thousand years, When The darkest Faerie sees Tormund hiding behind a pillar, she orders the Dark faerie sisters to kill him, Fauna show's Tor the entrance to the sewers, were the Dark faerie sisters forced him to run to.

The Darkest Faerie

The Darkest Faerie (also known as The Sleeper, The Betrayer and Mistress of Nightmares) is a powerful Dark Faerie who was one of Altador's 12 great heroes before she betrayed them. She was so powerful she was sealed away at the bottom of the sea for 1,000 years by Fyora after she tried to force the kingdom of Altador under her rule. Since then her name has been forgotten, and is now simply referred to as the darkest and most evilest of all Faeries.
In the Darkest Faerie PS2 Game, The Darkest Faerie escaped from her imprisonment under the sea when Jerdana's Orb fell from her neck. Soon after that, she washed up on the shores of Meridell, claiming she was going to make everything dark and twisted. After Illusen's charm was stolen by the Werelupe King, nothing could stop The Darkest Faerie from taking over the land, and she quickly covered Meridell in a dark purple cloud, tainting all inhabitants under them with her evil.
In the Altador Plot, users were required to find The Darkest Faerie's contellation, known as The Sleeper. Finding her constellation began to break down a spell that was cast over Altador to cover up it's history (On the 28th of March, a new link was discovered on the Altador map that led to the Restive Tomb. Clicking one of the holes in the center of the door would reveal the pattern of the first constellation. Go back to the Archivist then to the observatory. Find the constellation and report back to the Astronomy Club. The gems above the Darkest Faerie statue now glow and The Sleeper chapter in the Book of Ages is filled in).

You can see the Darkest Faerie in the Gallery of Evil, here.
You can read the Chapter 1 - The Sleeper i the Book of Ages, here.

Fyora, the Faerie Queen

Fyora, The Faerie Queen, is one of the most powerful Faeries. She keeps watch over Neopia and governs Faerieland.
She is a kind and warm Faerie, but despite her peaceful appearance can overpower most creatures in Neopia. She is usually found in her castle, in the centre of Faerieland, and runs the Hidden Tower where she sells some of the most powerful relics in the Neopian world. She may also give out Faerie Quests, and while they are difficult, they increase the stats of your Neopet by a large margin.
She is renown for sealing away The Darkest Faerie for 1,000 years with the aid of Jerdana's Orb, and within her tower the original portal to Altador opened.
She also features in the Darkest Faerie PS2 Game, in wich Fyora was visited by Roberta, who reported there was a dark evil afflicting the lands of Meridell. After sending Roberta away, Fyora was taken by surprise by The Darkest Faerie and was captured. Later when Tormund and Roberta came to rescue her, The Darkest Faerie made herself look like Fyora and stole Fyora's Wand. After the theft, Fyora broke free of her bonds and fought with The Darkest Faerie again, only to be imprisoned within a glass bottle.

You can see Fyora in the Gallery of Heroes, here.

Fountain Faerie

The Fountain Faerie runs the Rainbow Fountain found in Faerieland. She is sometimes unofficially referred to as the Rainbow Faerie because of her affiliation with the Rainbow Fountain.
The Fountain Faerie is often confused with the Water Faerie version of Faerie Quests, who reward you by raises the defence of one of your Neopets. You will not receive access to the Rainbow Fountain for completing a Water Faerie quest, but only from the Fountain Faerie.

Aethia, the Battle Faerie

Aethia is a Faerie who currently bears the title of Battle Faerie, wielder of the Sword of Flame and Sword of Ice. Always in the battledome looking for a challenger, rewarding and teaching Neopets with great fighting abilities. Aethia seeks to teach others to protect themselves as other Battle Faeries have done before her.
Much of the Battle Faerie is shrouded in mystery. It's widely known though that the Battle Faerie appears when danger looms, ready to defend those who are to weak to stand up for themselves. It's also known Battle Faerie is a title warrior born Faeries take, although how many Battle Faeries there were and who they were is unknown. The only known Battle Faerie besides Aethia is Valeane, the previous one before her. She was a student to Shyvara, and daughter of Dreeana.
Long ago in times of war the Battle Faerie taught inexperienced Neopets to defend themselves and on rare occasions fought the strongest to teach them a lesson. She was also said to be the leader of Fyora's army. The Battle Faerie disappeared for a time when peace returned to Neopia, but reappeared when the Battledome returned, perhaps sensing her skills were needed again.
Another common trait of all Battle Faeries are the Sword of Flame and Sword of Ice, which have a riddle inscribed upon the blades in ancient Faerie language. Valeane was unable to solve the riddle of the swords and lost their power.

The Dung Faerie

The Dung Faerie is a secretive faerie created on 14th July, 2003 (the day the Meridell Rubbish Dump was released). She is known for donating random items at the Meridell Rubbish Dump, and can only be found there.
As of February 24, 2007, the Dung Faerie still has no picture, said to be because she is such an elusive faerie.

Grey Faerie

The Grey Faerie is a Faerie in Neopia which has had her wings removed, destroying all her use in magic. Introduced to Neopets through a Neopedia article on April 18, 2003, to date there is only one known Grey Faerie (originally named Baelia), although there may be more in hiding. As told in a the original Neopedia article, Baelia was stripped of her magical powers imprisoned by a Dark Faerie named Jennumara. She was freed by Tavi, a mountain climber who tricked the lock of her cage. It is said she would regain her powers when she received a new name.

Jhuidah, the Island Faerie

Jhuidah, the Island Faerie is a Faerie protector of Mystery Island, introduced on 31st August 2000, who runs the Cooking Pot. With the Cooking Pot, players can give suitable gifts to Pango Pango, whom may bless you with a special item if you please him with the right ones. She knows all the ingredients of course, but will not tell you. Jhuidah also runs the Trading Post.
Jhuidah played a key role in the Mystery Island Volcano plot. She was shrunk by a shaman and imprisoned in a fish bowl. Players had a limited time frame in which to free Jhuidah

You can see Jhuidah in the Gallery of Heroes, here
You can see the Mystery Island Volcano Plot, here

Library Faerie

The Library Faerie is the Faerie responsible for looking over the vast library of Faerieland. In her spare time she solves crossword puzzles which users can help her through Faerie Crossword. The Library Faerie also runs the Faerieland Bookshop, which sells Faerie Books.

Negg Faerie

The Negg Faerie is a Faerie who lives in the Ice Caves of Terror Mountain. She runs the Neggery, where users can turn in Neggs for Negg Tokens, which can be bought for more magical ones only sold at the Neggery.

Taelia, the Snow Faerie

Living amidst the harsh climate of Terror Mountain, Taelia the Snow Faerie is always in need of spell ingredients. If you pay her a visit she will reward you most kindly for your aid.
She was referred to originally as just The Snow Faerie for a very long time, until fairly recently when her name was revealed. As a battledome character, she is still called just The Snow Faerie.
She is rarely seen outside of her plump, furry coat of icy blues and whites, and is one of only two faeries to have feathery wings (the Grey Faerie being the other). She is the only faerie known to have jet black hair.
She was instrumental in saving Hannah from a curse, in the Hannah and the Ice Caves Plot

You can see the Hannah and the Ice Caves Plot, here

Soup Faerie

The Soup Faerie is a Faerie who offers free food to Neopets at the The Soup Kitchen. Anyone with under 3,000 NP can get food there but if you have more than that amount in Neopoints (including your Bank Account balance and your Shop Till), she will not serve you.
The Soup Faerie is a kind and gentle soul. Unlike the other faeries, she cares very little for her own appearance, preferring to spend her time helping the starving pets of Neopia. Any pet she comes across who is malnourished, whose owner does not have much wealth, will be given free food and a warm bed until it is ready to brave the world.

Space Faerie

Living amongst the stars, the Space Faerie protects Neopia from threats from the depths of space, such as Dr. Frank Sloth. She very rarely visits the surface of Neopia, and will only do so in the case of an utmost emergency.
Among other acts of courage and compassion, she saved the Grundos from Dr. Sloth, and they subsequently became a regular species of Neopet with their own Adopt-a-Grundo section of the Virtupets Space Station. She is also featured as the mascot of Neopets Premium.
She also participated on the Arrival of Virtupets Plot: It began when she received a mysterious, coded message from the depths of space, and an overwhelming sense of evil. She made a rallying call to the population to be prepared, and her prophecy quickly came true as the massive bulk of the Space Station briefly eclipsed the sun.
After the message was decoded by the Island Mystic using many newly-released Codestones, revealing Dr. Sloth's true plan to mutate all the population of Neopia to enslave the planet, the Space Faerie gathered Neopians to scour the lands to find supplies to ready a space fleet at the Launch Pad.
The Space Faerie made a personal assault on the Space Station, seeking to liberate the Grundos that had been captured for Sloth's experiments. He had anticipated this and manage to capture her. Her struggles weakened her, and she was only barely able to send a broadcast to Neopia, requesting that the population adopt as many Grundos as possible. Doing so helped her regain her power.
Users managed to adopted the 20,000 needed Grundos just in time: as Dr Sloth fired his orbital mutation ray gun down to the planet, the Space Faerie blasted her way out of imprisonment and intercepted the mutagenic beam. To Sloth's disbelief, the faerie managed to divert the beam back into the weapon, which overloaded. The resulting explosion demolished the weapon, and Dr. Sloth went missing until the Lost Desert Plot.
The Space Faerie returned to the stars, and left the abandoned Space Station in orbit for Neopians to repopulate.
In the 2008, Return of Dr. Sloth Plot, the Space Faerie didn't take part because she was away to another galaxy, investigating a disturbance which The Resistance presently suspected was likely a ploy by Dr. Sloth and she was not responding to their communications.

You can see the Arrival of Virtupets Plot Trailer, here.
You can see the Return of Dr. Sloth Plot, here.

Tooth Faerie

The Tooth Faerie is a unique type of Faerie who spends her days flying around Neopia giving users Neopoints when their Neopets lose their teeth (as a Random Event). The Tooth Faerie is seen only in Random Events or in Faerie Cloud Racers.

Faerie Quests

A Faerie Quest is a special Quest given by a random Random Event where a user is asked to help and give an item a certain Faerie. These quests are given out by Uber Faeries, extra powerful versions of the basic Faeries.
Originally, users could request to do a Faerie Quest but because people abused the privelage they were changed into random events on October 2nd, 2000.
When a user has a Faerie Quest, they are unable to use the Shop Wizard. Because of this rule many guilds and communities with the purpose of helping others find their items have been created, because while one user is unable to use the Shop Wizard, another can. There is also a Quests section in the Neoboards for this purpose as well. Users which help others this way are sometimes called Quest Partners, and they will search for the item on the Shop Wizard and either:

  • Give the username of of the shop owner to the user with the quest.
  • Buy the item and put it up in the Trading Post for the user.
  • Give the item freely to the user.
Quest Partners are usually two users who live in the same or similar time zones. It's against Neopets Terms and Conditions for one user to use a side account to find their quest item.
Upon returning with the specific item to the Faerie Quest HQ, the Uber Faerie will reward a random Neopet of the users (said to be the most deserving of the gift by the faeries). All rewards raise the Neopets stats with the exception of the Earth Faerie and Fountain Faerie quests, which feeds your Neopet to "Bloated" and gives a free pass to the Rainbow Fountain, respectfully.
Unlike other quests, such as the Esophagor's or Jhudora's, one cannot use the Shop Wizard while a quest is in progress. To compensate for this limitation, there is no time limit for the user can get the item. However, as the Shop Wizard cannot be used, it can become a nusiance for people who do not or cannot complete the Faerie Quest.
If a user does not wish to complete a quest, they can refuse it at the Faerie Quest HQ. Doing so will penalize the user from having another quest for ten minutes, after which the user must visit the page again to be allowed to take another quest. It's also believed by some the likelihood of receiving a Faerie Quest thereafter is lowered, similar to the way Karma works.

Each of the six Uber Faeries asks for a random item of a certain type. Below is a list of each Uber Faerie, what types of items they ask for, and which stat they improve.

  • Fire Faerie: Asks for Clothes, Raises Strength.
  • Light Faerie: Asks for Collectable Cards, Raises Level.
  • Earth Faerie: Asks for Magic Items, Feeds all Pets and Heals all pets to full Health.
  • Air Faerie: Asks for Grooming items, Raises Speed.
  • Dark Faerie: Asks for Toys, Raises HP.
  • Water Faerie: Asks for Books, Raises Defence.

Three other faeries also ask for items on rare occasions. They are:

  • Faerie Queen: Asks for random item, raises all stats.
  • Space Faerie: Asks for random item, raises level by 4.
  • Fountain Faerie: Asks for random item, gives one a single use of the Rainbow Fountain.

While Jhudora, and Illusen are Faeries who give quests, their quests aren't considered Faerie Quests, and follow different rules than true Faerie Quests. Besides being a voluntary quest, they have a time limit of 16 minutes 40 seconds, the shop wizard can be used, their rewards are part of a fixed set of items and they can only be done every twelve hours.

Taelia is another Faerie who gives quests but, again, they are timed, you are allowed to use the shop wizard, and she generally asks for more than one item. You may do up to 10 of Taelia's quests in any given day.

Almost all Faerie Quests are beneficial, and considering the low price of certain items in quests, are much cheaper in training Neopets. The only quest believed not to be worth the expense is the Earth Faerie Quests. The reward for completing her quests is full hit points and hunger, which is a low cost action on Neopets, while some of the Magic Items required for the quest are more expensive than it would be to feed or heal the Neopet on their own (although there are cheaper items asked for as well).

Here are some Quests Guides that explain more detailed all the process and have all you need to know. If you have one Quest Guide and want it added here just neomail me, but have in mind that I may not added it.

    Faerie Bottles

Spell Faeries are sometimes captured and imprisioned in bottles that can be used as an item. If you have a Bottled Faerie you can sell it, trade it, give it or use it.
Balthazar is a Lupe bounty hunter who captures these Faeries with magical bottles, selling them for huge profits. Besides Balthazar there may be other faerie catchers that aren't known for now...
If you use a faerie, what happens is that you will release her and if your pet has enough level, he or she will be able to control her and that way she will grant your pet a faerie ability.
These Bottled Faeries also have six varietys depending in wich Spell Faerie is inside the bottle.

    Faerie Games

You may notice that on neopets there are some games ruled by the faeries or that count with their participation in some way. Those games are:

  • Faerie Cloud Racers - Faerie Cloud Racers is a flash game where the user, as a Faerie, pilots a Cloud Racer to try and lock their opponent in smoke so that their is nowhere for them to move to. The current version of the game replaced the old, similar titled, game that now resides in the Game Graveyard. It is like a race between Faeries.
  • Faerie Crosswods - Faerie Crossword is a web based crossword puzzle game which can be found in Faerieland. Users help the Library Faerie fill in a crossword puzzle which is replaced with a new puzzle every day. Answers are always placed from left-to-right or up-to-down, and they never go down-to-up or right-to-left. A fixed amount of Neopoints is rewarded based on the amount of time taken to complete the puzzle. Prizes can only be collected once a day, but the puzzle can be played over and over again until the next days puzzle:
Solve puzzle in less than 5 minutes - 600 neopoints
Solve puzzle in less than 15 minutes - 400 neopoints
Solve puzzle in more than 15 minutes - 200 neopoints
Answers can be either common knowledge or can require looking up certain details on Neopets. Because the questions and answers reused regularly, several help sites post the answers to the puzzles every day (when possible).
  • Faerie Bubbles - The aim of the game is to clear all faerie bubbles from the screen before they pass the red penalty line. Users must group at least three bubbles of the same type together, which will make those bubbles pop. Bubbles are shot from the bubble cannon, which is guided by the left and right arrow keys, centered with the up arrow, and fires bubbles with the space bar. Besides directly shooting a bubble, users can bounce them off the wall, which can help reach areas which would be impossible as a straight shot. After a certain number of shots, the ceiling will lower, bringing the bubbles lower, and if any of the bubbles should pass below the penalty line, the game ends.
  • Faeries Caves II - Fyora's Quest - Fyora has devised another set of excruciatingly hard puzzles for you to solve. To complete a level you must find the Purple Key, it will unlock the door to the next level. Each level is a different colour, this corresponds to a different faerie-type. The Air level will have balloons, where the Fire level has volcanic boulders. First puzzle cave game which allowed Players to create their very own Faerie Cave and have others play them. Even send them into a weekly judging competition (Faeries Caves Level Spotlight).
  • Illusen's Glade - Illusen's Glade is a quest a user can choose to complete once per day. Upon accepting the quest, the user has 16 minutes to find the item Illusen requests. The item can be obtained through any means - bought over the Shop Wizard or Trading Post, sent as a gift from a Neofriend, etc. Upon completion, the difficulty level of the next quest will increase. There are 50 levels of quests to complete, which Illusen rewards the user with a special item (every two or three quests) which gets more valuable the higher the levels go. Should a user start a quest and not return with the item in time, the user's quest level will be set back to Level 1. When a user chooses to do a Illusen's Glade quest, Jhudora will refuse to offer the user a quest for that day, just as Illusen will do if the user does a Jhudoras Cloud quest.
  • Jhudora's Cloud - Users can choose to participate in a quest once a day to give Jhudora random items in Neopets. Starting at Level 1, users have 16 minutes to find the item, the rarity of which increases with each new level, before time runs out. If time runs out before the user returns with the proper item, the Level will reset to Level 1, and the user will have to start all over.
Should the user participate in Illusens Glade, Jhudora will become angry with the user and not allow her quests to be completed for the rest of the day. Jhudora's quests are more difficult than Illusen's, and require the user to find rarity 99 items starting level 21. Because of this, items in the later levels are more valuable and expensive than in Illusen's.
  • Wheel of Excitment - The Wheel of Excitement is located in Faerieland and run by a local Light Faerie. The cost to spin is 150 Neopoints and can be spun once every two hours.
  • Snowball Fight - What is best then throw snowballs at neopets? You just can't hit the faeries!
  • Gormball - In the game, users take the role of one of eight players, and pass the Gormball around the circle until it explodes.
The eponymous Gormball ejecting Thyassa from the gameThe Gormball is a filled with water, and may explode at any time. Users have the opportunity to choose how long to wait with the ball before passing it on: the longer one does so, the more points one earns, but a user must be sure to throw it to the next player before it should explode.
When it explodes with a character holding it, they are out of the game, and the number of points they have accumulated become translated into Neopoints awarded to the player.
One of the eight players that you can choose to be is Ember, the fire faerie.
  • Better Than You - Every week, on a Thursday, we have a new game of Better Than You! We will feature somebody from Neopia who is good at a particular game, in fact so good, they could beat you blindfolded with their hands tied behind their back. Sometimes one of this players is a faerie, that you have to beat in a faerie game.
  • Defender Trainer - You will be presented a gallery of pictures of either Neopets, Petpets, Items or any combination thereof and a question. (A question such as, 'which starts with the letter L'). You have to click on the picture that is the right answer in the fastest time possible.
There are 3 different difficulty levels and six different questions total, but sometimes the questions will get reversed. (For example, 'which does NOT start with the letter L'?) Other times the picture will be upside-down, a silhouette or they'll all be moving!
One of the pictures that can appear is an earth faerie.
  • Defenders of Neopia - Defenders of Neopia is an action game released on May 31, 2002, set in the Battledome. Users have their Neopet fight against Villains and monsters of Neopia with Judge Hog and the Defenders of Neopia guiding them. Defenders of Neopia also refers to a team of superhero Neopets, of which Judge Hog is the leader of, and users act as recruits to them.
Some of the villains wich you have to fight are evil faeries like The Drenched.
  • Wheel of Knowledge - The Wheel of Knowledge is located in Brightvale. The different prizes are mostly Brightvale themed and are available for purchase in the shops. The wheel costs 500NP to spin. Unless you land on the free spin space, the Wheel can only be spun once a day.
Landing on the Water Faerie will heal your pets or hear her say that you make a very good job taking care of your neopet.
  • Wheel of Monotony - This Wheel is a luck-based game that can be found in the Northern Plateau of Tyrannia. Hosted by an engrossed Quiggle, who takes the money and helps everyone contain their excitement during the spinning of the wheel.
The Wheel of Monotony is like all the other wheel based games on the site with one large twist. The wheel spins for a large amount of time, ranging from an hour to upto 3 hours in some rare cases. The prizes, although there is the potential for some really great ones, are generally not proportional to this difficult aspect to it.
Land on the Faerie Pancakes - Your neopet will be blessed and one of its skill levels will be increase. Your neopet must have at least one faerie skill bestowed on it previously for this to work.

Here are some Faerie Game Guides that help you through the games, giving you hints and codes you can use. If you have one Faerie Game Guide and want it added here just neomail me, but have in mind that I may not added it. Any other faerie game that you like to see added here neomail me too.
