Welcome to the Adopt and Rescue Pet Shelter Adoption Agency!

Hello, and welcome to the AARPS Adoption Agency! Here you can view all the pets we have rescued from the pound. To submit your application for a pet, click on it's picture. To view a pet's lookup, click on it's name. I strongly advise you to check any rules that apply to a pet before submitting application. Some foster owners may have certain requirements that you must meet before you can adopt the pet from them.

Please do not contact us for any information regarding the pets. We cannnot give them to you neither do we know everything about them. Please ask the foster parent if you want to adopt a pet or if you need information.
You may contact us if you need any information about adopting or fostering a pet. That we can answer.
We do not choose the names of pets and we cannot stop the foster parent from zapping lab pets more than they have already been zapped. If you just HAVE to have a certain pet that we don't have you will just have to come back later or get the pet yourself. Sorry.
If you post up a pet you must follow through. If you really want to remove your pet just contact us but it is a big dissapointment to others who applied to adopt the pet. But you still have final say in everything, I suppose.

The Adoption Process!
Here is a good link to learn about petpage applications:

First of all, please be aware that NO account under four (4) months old can adopt a pet that is:
over level 2,
is Limited Edition,
or painted with rare paintbrushes!
Please be aware of these guidelines before applying for these rare pets.
Please read all rules that apply to the pet you want. The foster parent might have some specific requirements for potential owners.
Make any preparations for the pet the foster parent requires.
Neomail your application with any links required to the FOSTER PARENT! AARPS does NOT handle adoptions for the foster parent!
If you are accepted, please work out a time to transfer with the foster parent. E-mail or other non-neopets contact system works well to communicate but it is not required. You and the foster parent must work this out on your own. Again, AARPS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PETS LOST DURING THE ADOPTION PROCESS!
If all goes well, you will now have a new pet to care for. We at AARPS like to keep tabs on the pets we have rescued, so make sure your new pet is well cared for or you will hear from us!

Fostering your Pet!

If you have a pet you would like to pound but you want to give it a good home then just follow these simple guidelines to place your pet in our adoption agency!

First, please post any rules you may have for potential owners on a petpage or pet lookup so we can see it. You may make the rules anything you like but make them reasonable otherwise no one will want to try to adopt your pet!
Contact me via neomail with the following information:
Name of pet:
Foster parent username:
If you have rules or special requirements, applications, etc.:
Link to page with rules, requirements, etc.:
If your pet requires a petpage or neomail application.
We will then post your pet in the agency. Potential owners will neomail you whatever applications are nessecary.
After choosing the new owner, you will need to work out a time to transfer the pet to the new owner. E-mail, IM, or other non-neopets contact works well. AARPS is not responsible for any occurence or happening during the transfer and we cannot help you with it.

If all went well, your pet should have a new owner that will care for it generously. We encourage you to check on your pet every so often to see how it is doing with the new owner.

Lab pets tend to be unpredictable and can be changed at any time without warning. I will try to update all of the pets here as often as I can, and please be patient with me if a pet is different from what you see here. Please do not contact me if a pet is incorrectly posted, I will check lab pets as often as possible. If you see a pet you want I recommend neomailing the owner ASAP! Then work on your application.

Here at AARPS we are dedicated to saving pets from their terrible fates in the pound after being abandoned by their irresponsible former owners. Also, if you are interested in joining our fight against the evils of the pound, you can link to our guild here. Apart we are helpless, but together we are invincible. Spread the word and encourage others to help pets left in the pound.
