To My Little Petition Site
Hey all, you may know me as CLOUD... I run a pretty spiffy graphics site: Cloudy Day Layouts. One of my best neofriends, Risa, made this site layout. No, it wasn't specifically for me... I was just too lazy to make a petpage currently, so I went searching for one, and then it hit me (about 10 sites in) that Risa has great layouts, I should check at Randomesque Designs for something, and low and behold... BAM... site layout! So, thanks Risa, even though you are currently on hiatus :(
Well, as you know, I am a graphic/web designer, and I think it would be just spiffy-keeno if there was a Graphic/Layout/Web Designing board on the neopets boards. Think it's a bad idea? Well, just read on to my reasons why... and neomail me if you have anymore reasons to add to it...
Reasons
Why there should BE a Graphic/Web/Layout Design Board
1. Graphic Designers need a place to relax... and possibly "distract" themselves when they have to do a request or make a new layout, but they just don't really want to or they're having "writer's block" so to say.
2. It would make it easier for you to get requests or offer your requesting services.
3. If you wanted your lookup rated, or any other thing (like layout or graphic) you could easily do it here.
4. Need help with CSS or HTML? You'd be sure to get some great designers to help you out.
5. Want some new affies? Since a lot of Graphic Designers would commune here, you could find a lot of great affies.
6. Advertise your site. That way you can get more page views, more people using your stuff, more affies, and maybe even more requests (if you want them).
7. If you need someone to fill out a job for your site, you can put up ads for it here.
8. There isn't really any other board where you can do all these things, and I think it's high time that there is one.
9. Even if you AREN'T a designer, and are thinking, what's the point of this board? I'm sure at some point, you will require the assistance of a designer, in some layout sort of way, and this would make us all VERY happy :)
10. I think that a forum should be added to help un-cluttter the rest of the forums. I mean, often times you see requests for layout and such in Newbies, help, neosignatures and Avatars, and just all over. If there was a general forum for it, maybe the rest of the forums would stay a bit more on topic. (submitted by jozzygirl2)

What's Happening Around Here?
08.09.08- So, the update list is added. I just got back on my main account from suspension, and I was greeted with over 20 neomessages, and nearly half (or even more) of them where from people signing up for "THE LIST" so thanks guys for signing up, and you are totally added now. That makes our grand total currently... 64
08.18.08- So, I've been incredibly busy, and not able to advertise "The List" so much... so if you guys could, that would be GREAT!!!!
