WelcomeWelcome to Illusions, the review site! It all started on Wednesday, April 8th, 2009. This is a really new site, probably the newest review site you'll find! This is my second site after my first one, Polka Dots, which is a pixel site. And I do use bold, italic, and underlined a lot to keep the layout interesting, Hope it doesn't distract you. Anyways, enjoy the rest of the site! RequestingSure, sometimes I'll neomail you myself when requests are down, but I would love it if you requested by yourself! But before you neomail me with chatspeak or anything, why not just use this simple form? All you do is copy it, fill in the questions, and then Neomail it straight to my account. Here is the form: CirriculumImpression ?/10: When I first enter your site, do I want to stay and look around or do I want to leave? Is everything inviting or does it friek me out to be there? Neat ?/15: When I get there and look around a bit, is everything in order? Does your site look all jumbled up, like you just put stuff there in a hurry to get it over with? Merchandise ?/20: If you're a graphics site you will be reviewed on this by your graphics, and when your something else, you'll get this by your text. Grammar School ?/5: When I read all your content, do I find any spelling mistakes? When you're on firefox it can prevent you from that, but on internet explorer that doesn't fess. Layout ?/15: Some sites don't even have layouts, which takes major points off of your final result. Before you enter I would strongly urge you to either create on of your own, or use a premade layout. Placement ?/10: How organized is everything in your site? Is there a section dedicated to getting around, or is everything just jumbled up to where I can't find something when I need it? Link Button ?/5: When you go to a site you always want them to have a good link button so you can link back to them. I would prefer to have at least on 88x31 button available, and remember to always save your designs on .png Title ?/5: When you go to your site, the name is really a good fraction of your site. If you see two buttons and one says "Quality Reviews" and the other says "Mysteries Unsolved", which one would you go to? Parting Note ?/15: After everything we just went through, what is my final decision? What do I think overall of your site, what a visitor would think overall of your site. Suggestions: My final sum of everything good and bad that happened, and what I liked and disliked about what you had to offer. Your score: ?/100, did you get an award? ReviewsHand-Sewn Pixels
Impression 9/10: Wow! When I entered, the layout was spectacular! It must have taken forever to make! And, I can already tell it's a pixel site by the pixelled hanger at the top! But I took one point off because in your first header it says "Intro" which isn't as welcoming as "Welcome", or "Stay around for a while? Neat 13/15: You're whole site is completely neat except for the Links and Link Back. I think you should create a header 2 and instead of just plain text on Links: and Affialites: make those in header 2! Merchandise 20/20: Every single thing in your pixel site is spectacular! I can't find one flaw with anything! Plus, by the code, I can see they're all by you and you can make them move and stuff! haute Grammar School 4/5: In the second sentence on paragraph one, (I specialize in hand-made garments ranging anywhere from hats and gloves to haute couture eveningwear that will make you the life of any party!) I think when you say haute, you mean "hot". Layout 15/15: You're layout is absolutely spectacular! Everything matches, and you have pixelled your dream pet sewing! I don't think a layout can get any better, great job! Placement 10/10: You have a whole section on the left of your site dedicated to getting around! Just what I was looking for, and you also have the all-important Credit on the bottom. Link Button 3/5: I love the button you already have, but it's a bummer you only have one. Maybe you should just make different colors with your one button, even that would be great. Title 4/5: I do love your site name, but I don't like how you had the word pixel in your name. Wouldn't it be better off with maybe "One Step Dress", or "Hand-Sewn Clothes" or something like that? Parting Note 12/15: I noticed you have one update at the top, but maybe you should have more updates than that and maybe keep them in a scrolling box. I suggest this because when you have updates, it wants you to keep everything coming. Suggestions: I strongly suggest about your headers to create a header 2 and to make more variety with your buttons than just one link button. It's okay to keep your site name because it is pretty good, and keep up the great work on your pixels! Your score: 90/100, Just barely, but go ahead and take the "90-95" award! Geoneo's Pixels
Impression 10/10: I love how your layout is like mine, with white layout but colorful items. And you make absolutely beautiful buttons so far as I can see. Neat 10/15: Everything looks so neat and in place! But I think your Updates should be on the Sidebar and after a link, make sure to put or else it goes on forever. Merchandise 20/20: Your pixels are so amazing! Their absolutely beautiful! And I like how you throw in a moving one every once in a while. I just love them all, especially this cat:
Grammar School 3/5: I believe when you siad, "Well, except for the adoped pixels, of course!" instead of adoped, I think you meant adopted. Layout 15/15: I love how you always make your own layouts and how it's white but so colorful with everything else around it! And on your closed site, you made your own layout there, too! Placement 8/10: I love your layout and everything on your page, I just think you should make your sidebar a little bigger and add your updates to the sidebar. That might look a little nicer. :) Link Button 5/5: If I could rate it higher than what it was, I would give you 100/5! Your link back buttons are all spectacular and I love how they are all animated. I don't know how to animate, but it's great that you do! Title 3/5: I don't like how it is called Geoneo's Pixels. That is really original, and not always the best idea. It should be something even better like "Fab dabs" or something better. Parting Note 13/15: It's not big, but I do urge you to add the Updates to the sidebar. And you don't have to change your name, just next time make it something much better. Suggestions: You have a very great site filled with more than awesome pixels and are a great graphics maker. Make more and you could be on your way to pixel fame! Your score: 87/100, so go on and take a 85-89 award! The Button Maker
Impression 10/10: When I first come in I see that original layout that I always have loved. and I scrolled down to see your button bases which are one of my buttons right now! :D Neat 11/15: I think that your waiting list should be under your requests, your link buttons should be above affies, your button bases should be after pick up, and I noticed that in your button codes there are only the img codes. You should also include a link to your site in that code. Plus in your link buttons make sure to put (Without the spaces) to stop the link from going on forever. Merchandise 20/20: I love all your made buttons and your button bases! They're all so beautiful and some are even animated! But this is my fave button you made:
Grammar School 5/5: Yay! No mistakes! Nothing is spelled wrong! Layout 15/15: I have to admit I've always loved that layout. On one of my older sites that used to be my layout! Placement 6/10: Again, I think that your waiting list should be under your requests, your link buttons should be above affies, your button bases should be after pick up, and I noticed that in your button codes there are only the img codes. You should also include a link to your site in that code. Link Button 5/5: Since you are a button maker, your buttons are fabulous! I would give you even more points aloud if I could! You make up everything else with your buttons! Title 5/5: I like "The Button Maker". I think it sounds mysterious, and I just love it! Parting Note 13/15: The biggest thing I'm worried about is where everything is placed. I didn't see that get around at first, but I had to look around for a minute just to find your link buttons. Suggestions: Fix up some of your boxes and keep up the spectacular work on making buttons, and your on your way to Button Making Fame. Your score: 90/100, so go on and take a 90-95 award! |
Updates4-12-09: Sorry I haven't been on in so long, I got in trouble. Loooooong story. Anyways I got a request from The Button Maker. Already done! So enjoy! 4-8-09: I just started the site out with everything a review site needs! And to get me started, I reviewed Hand-Sewn Pixels and Geoneo's Pixels!
