Welcome to the application for Cabaliso the speckled gelert.

The sun gazes down on the hot streets of the city, cars zoom by and people pass by talking on their cellphones. You are walking along through the bustle as the sun beats down on you, this city was new to you and you need to learn your ways around the streets.As you pass by an alley way you notice a green and gray figure pass by, it looks like a canine of some sort but you aren't sure. You come into the alley, Clash! A trash can fell over and you fell back along with it.A green face pokes out behind it, it was a spotted gelert.You slowly pull yourself up and shake off al the dust that covered your clothes.The gelert pokes out more and to your suprise, she isn't a normal spotted gelert.Her fur starts out normal and fades into gray and her spots become black instead of white and her tail fades back to normal.She gazes at you with her green eyes and comes closer. "Wh-who are you?" She asked shyly with a stutter. She gazed at you and you look back at her. "I'm guest and you are?" You ask with a little shine in your eyes.She circled around you, she was quite tall coming up to your waist. "You can call me Cabaliso, now why are you here exactly?!" She asked with her head turned, she decides to sit in front of youand wait. You answer with a little confusion on why she would care, "Well I noticed a figure in the alley way and wanted to check it out. Do you mind if I ask why you are here?" Cabaliso gave a sigh and started to give a grin, "Well, that's a fun story to tell.Since you were kind enough to ask, I guess I should tell you." She let out another sigh and looked around as if looking for others to listen.You sit down shifting into a comfortable pose and watch bright eyed as she begins her story.
The Real Story
Chapter one

Well my story begins on streets much like this.These streets were smaller and less crowded plus a ton of back roads that made life fun. I was young and loved life, It was me my mother father and siblings. We lived in an old building were other stray neopets lived.You are most likely wondering why I'm not all green, well my father was a gray gelert and my mother was a beautiful spotted gelert, so I ended up a gelert off both ends. I spent most of my time with my siblings playing and wrestling.We were seperated when I was only a year old.
You give her a concerned look, "What happened?" You ask. It was a normal night and we were all sleeping tight, Smoke soon started to fill the building and it awoke my father. He woke us up and we went into a frantic.My mother rounded us up and my father took us two by two, it was all good until I was dropped and left behind.I know my parents were having a freak out and I was lost and scared.I hopped down the stairs franticly searching for somebody but no one came in sight.I kept going and finally found the door.I rolled out of the building hacking and coughing.My gray fur was stained with black spots.by the time I rolled out the fire trucks were driving away and the flames had died out. I looked around and couldn't find my family or any others for that matter.Since than I have wandered the streets lost and alone.
Chapter two
I traveled around the streets filled woth curiousity but the thought of living alone circled my mind.I peered out into the market place, the smells of veggies, fish and so much other things sat in the air filling my nose with those strange and wonderful scents.Flies buzzed around my head, distracting my hearing.What I didn't know was, I was being watched.As I trotted amongst the people, I sat beside each little booth and sniffed the air.I sat and watched the people making my eyes big and bubbly, I'd give a small whine every few minutes.Once the people noticed me, they would give me what they could.Of course I would scarf it down not even taking a breath in between each delicious bite. Once I had made my trip around the booths, I scampered around.The city was more than just the cramped up apartment that I lived in until now.It was crowded and abnoxious, yet I still loved the thrill of it all.I circled around watching all that bustle that circled me, I noticed iit but it seemed like I was nothing but air.This didn't matter though, all I had in mind was to find a suitible place for me to stay.The first thing that came into my sight was the scurrying of cats and mice in an alley way.
