Regardless, the sight of colorful comestibles suspend your futile frustration. Assorted fruit of many shades are laid about the area in a somewhat aesthetically pleasing matter. An interpretational dance of sorts. You gaze about the room in curious awe, when you feel a bit of weight colliding with your ankle. Glancing over, you find what seems to be a bright green apple.
Oh, excuse me..
You look up to find a pale-looking boy in a wheelchair. Long, dark bangs hang over his eyes, which was covered by at the bottom by heavy bags. Before you can even make out what you think of this strange fellow, he grins, eyes falling down towards the apple by your side.
Would you mind getting that for me? I'm afraid I'm a bit too weak to get over there myself..
The Sleepless Prince
Name - TeshiGender - Male
Age - 28
Hair - Short, coarse dark gray hair.
Eyes - Pale brown, but sleeplessness makes them appear red.
Height - 5' 8" when seated in a wheelchair.
Color - Gray
Noticeable features - Heavy, heavy dark spots under the eyes. It hasn't gotten to the extent where he looks like a panda yet, but he's close. The easiest thing to spot about this guy is that he is handicapped.

Attire - Tends to wear armbands so as to constrict his bloodflow a little bit. While that may be a health issue, it keeps the blood flowing to where he needs it most. He normally has a red and white checkered cloth tied about his waist.
Hobbies - Baking apple pies
Special Skills - Staying up without a hint of sleep for weeks on end and making the scariest smile ever without the intention to.
Info - Contrary to the sleeping beauty, Teshi is the sleepless prince. Equipped with a gentle nature and portable throne, Teshi really does seem somewhat princely while comfortably seated upon that wheelchair of his. Maybe if he didn't have those horrendous bags under his eyes, he'd actually be quite the looker. Who knows? It's nearly impossible to tell because he always seems to have those dark spots, no matter what. If he manages to get any sleep in at all, it certainly would never be enough to clear up that pale complexion of his.
So what's the deal? Why can't he sleep? Is it bad conscience? Of course not! Teshi is just one of the plenty who just needs certain condition to be met to be able to fall asleep. The poor guy can't fall asleep just anywhere at any time he pleases-- that's why he's sleepless! He has tried different methods to fix this huge problem of his, but nothing seems to work. He would take medication if he didn't have short term memory. He wouldn't be able to remember when the last time he took one was, and might end up taking another, and another, and another.. Since that could possibly lead to death, Teshi really would rather not risk that chance. So, instead, he stimulates his alertness with apples, because apples, not caffeine, are more effective at keeping anyone awake.
With every insomniac comes critical problems. His immune system is weak from weeks without sleep and his strength is constantly fading from him. The boy isn't anywhere near death, but he might as well nearly be one of the waking dead. He may be slow in responding and his genuine smile may look like a wretched sneer, but at least nothing about his personality is fake. The lack of sleep has not affected his temper, as he is still hardly ever irritated. Teshi is always up for a good chat, provided the other person can even stand to keep to his pace. Well, at least he isn't bordering on being crazy in the head.

Opam is I guess what you could call my friend. This guy is irritable and tends to carry a gloomy face often. It was an effort gaining his trust, and now it seems as if he doesn't mind me too much. I hope I'm a cheerful enough of a companion for him.
Oh, he doesn't take to strangers too kindly, but I'm sure if you give him some time, he'll grow onto you.
