Taember talking
A music room filled with the sounds of a wooden flute.
Inside, a girl playing it, quite good to boot.
Her long blue hair twinkles in the light.
Her song seems to visualize flight.
She stops, turns, and greets you with a smile,
And asks you "Why don't you stay a while?"
(side notes: Her hair is more like a horse's mane. She's four feet tall on all fours as a quad and her wing span is 8 feet. As anthro, she is 5'1" and of petite stature.)

Hello guest. Welcome to my music room!
You enter the music room, and you see all sorts of flutes and pipe instruments sitting around the room. There's also chimes of all sizes lining the wall and saxophones, clarinets, and picallos.
Taking a gander at my instrument collection, are you? If you haven't noticed, I love music. My favorite is this wooden flute here. She tenderly holds her wooden flute and shows it to you. It is a dark rich color, with a gorgeous shine and intricate carvings on it.
This flute really means a lot to me. It was given to me by my grandmother. She was a music teacher, who collected instruments from all over Neopia. She had this commissioned by someone from Mystery Island. She hand picked the wood from a forest somewhere outside of Neopia Central. It's made from Purple Heart. I also have a recorder made out of Purple Heart as well. They're both my favorites.
Taember takes the flute and sets it on a stand on a shelf.
So, what brings you to my music room? Surely not in the hopes to buy from my collection. Nothing is for sale, I apologize.
You shake your head in response saying you had no intentions to buy anything. You reply that you came to hear her play, as you've heard around town that she's a prodigy when it comes to playing music.
Oh ho, I am very flattered. I guess I could play a song for you..let's see...
Taember walks up and down the room, looking at her collection of instruments. She stops at a small pan flute, and picks it up gingerly. She then goes over to the table in the middle of the room and sits down in one of the chairs. Bringing the pan flute to her lips, she closes her eyes and starts to play. You close your eyes too, as your ears take in the melodic sounds. The notes rise and fall, rise and fall. It's like you're going on a journey, the music is taking you somewhere beyond your imagination. Before you know it, she plays the last note, and lowers the pan flute. You open your eyes to look at Taember.
Did you enjoy it? she asks you with a sweet smile.
You try to speak, but before you can begin your compliment, Taember brashes out.
It was terrible wasn't it? I knew it. People may tell me I'm good, but I'm not.
You respond quickly, saying it wasn't bad at all, that it was very impressive!
Taember looks at you. Not impressive enough to achieve my dream. My dream is to play for Queen Fyora in Faerieland. I want to play in front of her in her royal court. But I'm not good enough yet. I've been practicing for years, playing concerts for several different places in Neopia, except for Faerieland. I want word of my skills to pass on to Fyora herself and I want her to personally invite me to play my music for her. I've been invited to play for the kings of Meridell, Brightvale, and even played for the Altadorians. I even got to play for Darigan, of all people! They invited me to play. But has Fyora? No. I've been waiting and waiting.
A knock on the open door interupts her.
Um, excuse me, but I have a letter for you, Miss Taember. It's from Faerieland.
Tamber's ears immediately perk up, her eyes widen. She leaps out of the chair very un-lady like and plunges for the mailman, knocking him to the floor.
OOF! Miss Taember...please..get off...huu
Grabbing the letter, Taember quickly gets up and apologizes for her behavior.
Miss Taember, I know how long you've been waiting for this, but was that really necessary?
It seems Taember does not hear him, as she is prancing around the room, twirling with the letter in her hand.
Finally! It's finally here! The letter I've been waiting for! It's finally here! She stops spinning and brushes her hair back, and then proceeds to open the envelope. It reveals a pastel colored parchment, the colors of a sunset that was carefully watercolored.

Yes! I will write a reply at once and start packing my instruments! I'm sorry, visitor, but I must ask you to leave. I enjoyed your audience. I can't believe I'm finally going to get the chance to play for Fyora! I really am a great musician afterall!
You turn around to take your leave, and pass the mailman who is still recovering from his tumble. You think to yourself that maybe you will go up to Faerieland to see her perform again.

Plans for Taember
If I'm lucky enough to recieve Taember, she will be given a fantastic petpage. She will go on my main account, kaiodadragon, and will be entered into the Beauty Contest. I may even try and enter her into NNTM, because it looks like fun and it will challenge me to draw things I may not even think of drawing. I would not paint her. I can't say whether or not I'd customize her via Neocash items, because I have no means of purchasing Neocash items, but if I managed to get some wearables via Neopoints that would suit her, I'd use them. Although, to me customization isn't really important. I tend to go more for the petpages.
