A Stranger

May 13, 2012

Hey there. ^^; I have no idea how you happened across this page of mine. Maybe you felt like inspecting all my petpages. Whatever the reason, you're here now (And you're officially a creeper). Feel free to skim through the page, or leave before you die of boredom.

You may think that I'm full of myself, why else would I make a whole petpage dedicated to me? xD Actually, I made this for fun and... That's about it. So who am I? You can call me Lita, the girl of few actions and even fewer words. Just kidding, if you reach out to me and get the speech flowing I'm actually quite talkative. I love my friends to death, even if I don't show it very well. Never forget that.

In the real world I'm a dull person, the type that's too shy to make many friends. I have minor social anxiety. While it's improving, I doubt it'll ever go away completely. I've talked online with someone that was too afraid to leave their own house, fortunately it's never been that severe in my case. Sometimes I do get lonely and long for a girlfriend. However, I manage to occupy my time with other constructive things. I've found that forming relationships only leads to deeper depression anyway. I spend most of my time just thinking and philosophizing. My aim is to gather knowledge from books, movies, and various other sources until I become a true intellect.

I'd consider myself a kind person. I try to keep my mind open to everything and everyone and try to avoid the word 'hate'. To hate anyone is to cast aside their whole life up to that point, their personality, goals, dreams, good and bad experiences. Think twice before choosing to hate anything.

Within these pages my interests and dreams have been documented for your viewing. Try not to be a creeper. ^_^

Words and phrases to describe me with: A nervous wreck, creative, tolerant, mindful, empathetic, loyal, slightly jaded, and bizarre with a sprinkling of otaku tendencies...

Overall Interests: Anime, Animation, Asia, Aesthetics, Astronomy, Atheism, Ball Joint Dolls, Buddhism, Computer Graphics, Culture, Eastern Studies, Fashion, Feminism, India, Internet Culture, Journalism, LGBT Rights, Literature, L○lita Fashion, Medieval History, Music, Mythology, Nature, Philosophy, Photography, Psychology, Rococo Period, Satire, Street Art, Tea, Travel, Video Games, Writing.

A SMALL THEORY
People observe the colors of a day only at its beginnings and ends, but to me it's quite clear that a day merges through a multitude of shades and intonations, with each passing moment. A single hour can consist of thousands of different colors. Waxy yellows, cloud-spat blues. Murky darknesses. In my line of work, I make it a point to notice them.

The rules of the Hunger Games are simple. In punishment for the uprising, each of the twelve districts must provide one girl and one boy, called tributes, to participate. The twenty-four tributes will be imprisoned in a vast outdoor arena that could hold anything from a burning desert to a frozen wasteland. Over a period of several weeks, the competitors must fight to the death. The last tribute standing wins.

In this manner had fought forgotten ancestors. They quickened the old life within him, the old tricks which they had stamped into the heredity of the breed were his tricks... Written two years ago for a friend that died suddenly.

She has small feet, but she doesn't flinch as she walks across the coals.
She has small hands, but she has the ability to mold the souls.
She has a small voice, but she can make a sound like thunder.
She has small ideas, but they are enough to ponder.
Her small body cages a big heart
That has no finish, no start.
Her small mind holds an ultimate truth
That died somewhere in her youth.
She has a small smile that holds no pain
She has a small sanity bordering the insane.
She has a small laugh that makes everyone frown.
She had a small death, but it didn't get her down.
Her small light goes on creating stardust,
Blackened hearts no longer in disgust.
She is small in her Karma,
But growing larger as another life begins for tomorrow.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

There is no higher purpose. There are no gods. No arbiters of right and wrong. I do not ask you to like reality, I only ask you to be strong enough to face it. There is no essential good in living. The flesh of her arms bubbled and her legs buckled to a new shape. She doubled over as the muscles of her abdomen went into a brief spasm, then grimaced as her teeth sharpened and her jaw extended. She felt the momentary pain of the spine's crunch and then the sweet release.

She was a creature much larger and stronger than any natural wolf. Her toes and legs were too long, her ears too big, and her eyes held fire. Wolf was only a convenient term they had adopted. Those who preferred science to myth said they descended from something older--some early mammal that had absorbed protean matter brought to Earth by a meteorite.

Vivian stretched and pawed at the ground, she sniffed the glorious air. She felt as if her tail could sweep the stars from the sky.

Never date a writer because she'll fictionalize everything. She'll write about things you have done to her, or things you never did for her. She'll write about how you never bought her flowers. When the wolf had appeased his appetite, he lay down again in the bed, fell asleep and began to snore very loud. The huntsman was just passing the house, and thought to himself: 'How the old woman is snoring! I must just see if she wants anything.' So he went into the room, and when he came to the bed, he saw that the wolf was lying in it. 'Do I find you here, you old sinner!' said he. 'I have long sought you!' Then just as he was going to fire at him, it occurred to him that the wolf might have devoured the grandmother, and that she might still be saved, so he did not fire, but took a pair of scissors, and began to cut open the stomach of the sleeping wolf. When he had made two snips, he saw the little Red-Cap shining, and then he made two snips more, and the little girl sprang out, crying: 'Ah, how frightened I have been! How dark it was inside the wolf'; and after that the aged grandmother came out alive also, but scarcely able to breathe. Red-Cap, however, quickly fetched great stones with which they filled the wolf's belly, and when he awoke, he wanted to run away, but the stones were so heavy that he collapsed at once, and fell dead.

Ring around the rosy
A pocketful of posies
Ashes, Ashes We all fall down!

Possible Orgin:
The words to the Ring around the rosy children's ring game have their origin in English history . The historical period dates back to the Great Plague of London in 1665 (bubonic plague) or even before when the first outbreak of the Plague hit England in the 1300's. The symptoms of the plague included a rosy red rash in the shape of a ring on the skin (Ring around the rosy). Pockets and pouches were filled with sweet smelling herbs ( or posies) which were carried due to the belief that the disease was transmitted by bad smells. The term "Ashes Ashes" refers to the cremation of the dead bodies! The death rate was over 60% and the plague was only halted by the Great Fire of London in 1666 which killed the rats which carried the disease which was transmitting via water sources. The English version of "Ring around the rosy" replaces Ashes with (A-tishoo, A-tishoo) as violent sneezing was another symptom of the disease.

Human kind can not gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth. But the world isn't perfect and the law is incomplete. Equivalent exchange doesn't encompass everything that goes on here, but I still choose to believe in its principle. That all things do come at a price. That there's an ebb and a flow, a cycle that the pain we went through did have a reward and that anyone who's determined and perseveres will get something of value in return, even if it's not what they expected. I don't think of equivalent exchange as a law of the world anymore. I think of it as a promise, between my brother and me, a promise that someday we'll see each other again. -Alphonse Elric, FullMetal Alchemist

*

When are we born? When do we die? Why are we born? Why do we die? The world has been destroyed and we've fallen countless times, always resurrecting from the ashes as Paradise. It has happened before, and it will happen again. An endless cycle of life and death. The world is a Paradise that was opened by someone, but this era too is almost at an end. We have acquired the means to exceed our natural span of life, never suspecting that the world itself was finalized in its existence. This knowledge has left me in despair, my fate has fallen and scattered like the petals of a dying flower, like the blast from a sand storm it has been warn down and weathered away. As if to be purified, the world will be encased in ice so that it can return to the beginning once more. Paradise is a world that is opened by someone..."

I am a zombie, and it's not so bad. I'm learning to live with it. I'm sorry I can't properly introduce myself, but I don't have a name anymore. Hardly any of us do. We forget them, like anniversaries and PIN numbers. I think mine might have started with a "T", but I'm not sure. It's funny, because back when I was alive, I was always forgetting other people's names. I am finding that irony abounds in the zombie life, an ever-present punch line. People aren't born stupid, they're born naive. Nativity is like a blank canvas. It has nothing to show, it's very impressionable. But it has all the potential in the world, to learn and be taught, and painted beautifully on. And yes, there will always be mistakes. But it depends on the artist, the person living this life of the canvas. They can choose whether to correct it or not. Stupidity is when the canvas has been painted on and the person -the artist- is too stubborn, and foolish, to consider what may be wrong. And they're so blinded by their own views, and their own advice that they will never consider anyone else's opinions or views. They'll just always think that they're the one that's right. -Pokeeuge

On the day of the dead, when the year too dies,
Must the youngest open the oldest hills
Through the door of the birds, where the breeze breaks.
There fire shall fly from the raven boy,
And the silver eyes that see the wind,
And the light shall have the harp of gold.

By the pleasant lake the Sleepers lie,
On Cadfan's Way where the kestrels call;
Though grim from the Grey King shadows fall,
Yet singing the golden harp shall guide
To break their sleep and bid them ride.

When light from the lost land shall return,
Six Sleepers shall ride, six Signs shall burn,
And where the midsummer tree grows tall
By Pendragon's sword the Dark shall fall.

Nor a hundred can assuage me. I will have you! And I will get him back even as he gloats; In the meantime I'll practice on less honorable throats... They say that every story has a beginning and an end. That might be true in most cases. Sometimes, however, the two are one and the same. My name is Zoe Castillo. I don't usually look this pale, but that's what you get for being in a coma. That's my father, Gabriel. I'm all he's got in this world. My mother died fifteen years ago, and I don't have any siblings. I think he'll be very lonely when I'm gone. I wish I could've talked to him one last time, let him know that everything will be okay. But that would be a lie. The only thing I could have said… is goodbye. Since I'm lying on that bed, but I'm talking to you from out here, I this is what they call an out of body experience. I'm not sure anyone can hear me, but I've some experience with voices from the grave recently, so I'm giving it a shot. Bad things are happening, and everyone who knows the truth is either dead or has vanished off the face of the Earth. If I can get through to someone, anyone, maybe something can be done. So if you can hear me, please listen. This is very, very important. It might just be the most important thing ever. You'll have to forgive me for using the oldest cliché in the book: It all began when…

But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
You must be" said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here.

From Alice in Wonderland.

Somewhere, there was a tiny dream. Such a tiny dream it was,
No one knew who had dreamt it. The tiny dream began to think.
I don't want to disappear this way.
How can I make people dream of me?
The tiny dream thought and thought, and then came up with an idea.
I'll make humans get lost in me, and let them create the world.

The first Alice bravely entered Wonderland, sword in hand.
Cutting down countless creatures, she left a bright red path in her wake.
That Alice is in the forest,
Locked away like a criminal.
Aside from the path she made in the forest, there is no sign that she existed.

The second Alice meekly sang a song in Wonderland.
Spreading out countless notes, he gave birth to a mad world.
That Alice was a rose,
Shot down by a madman.
He makes one bright red flower bloom, and admired by all he withers.

The third Alice was a young girl, a beautiful figure in Wonderland.
Deceiving countless people, she created a strange country.
That Alice was the country's queen,
Possessed by a warped dream.
Fearing her decaying body, she ruled from the summit of the country.

Following the small path through the forest, having tea beneath the rosebush
The invitation card from the palace was the Ace of Hearts

The fourth Alice was twin children, entering Wonderland out of curiosity.
Passing through countless doors, they had only just recently come.
A stubborn sister and an intelligent brother.
They came the closest to being the true Alice, but...
They won't wake from their dream. They're lost in Wonderland.

Reading

May 13, 2012

I enjoy reading, books, stories, poems, anything. I've gathered a list of my favorite books. Sorry if some of the images are too small to read, you can always neomail me and ask what they say if you really want to know. I have a list of sixty-nine books to read, I'm always looking for more so if you have any recommendations, once again, mail me. ^.^ Well, here are some of my personal favorites:

Roleplaying

May 13, 2012

Roleplay genres I'm into are Medieval Fantasies and Wolves. You might find that I am flexible, if it's something interesting outside of my typical range, I won't be afraid to join. As long as the roleplay has solid characters, competent roleplayers, an elaborate plot, and a world with depth, I'll almost certainly be interested. If you think you might have a roleplay for me, go ahead and give me an invite. I don't do one on ones though. And I'd sooner murder you than leave my guild on this account. Off site roleplays are love. ^.^

I'll probably like your roleplay if it involves any of the following: mature themes, witches, magic, talking animals, romance, zombies, sci-fi stuff, demonic entities, drama, the Victorian or Rococo era, egyptians, fortune tellers, evil dolls, or Alice in Wonderland.

I hope short posts don't bother you too much. For me it's all about quality over quantity.

The Nameless Change

A Medieval Fantasy rolplaying guild. Dark secrets, rewrites of history, lies, betrayal, a destiny that could end the world, and the question..."Fate is it written in stone?"

The plot stretches further than what the council members have revealed. If you pay attention to subtle hints, perhaps you'll be able to piece together the full story. As it moves along, you may find yourself more surprised than even your character(s).

We are currently in a state of rebirthing after a long inactive period. I'm not completely together myself, though I hope to be as soon as I finish up my characters and get used to being part of the roleplay once more.

THE PROPHECY
Crumbling stones and shattered bones
You of the realm will reap what you've sewn
The river of time will reach it's last bend
And thus comes the signal of the great end

The hour glass will run out of sand
The river will cease to tear through the land
And those of the blood will heed the call
And Exoticus Alterare shall fall

Jest

A dream based fantasy roleplay. Though it may seem so, Jest is not a place of beauties and laughter. It is as dark as it is light, and the light is often more untrustworthy than the shadows. For in Jest, truth is a lie and lies are truth and no one is quite as they seem.

In Jest you may play as a human dreamer or a jester.

Games

I can't help it, I love to play video games. xD My favorites:

Movies

When I was a child, I would often visit my neighbors and watch their movies next door. Their collection included many obscure animated films like The Humpbacked Horse, Watership Down, and The Last Unicorn. Ever since then I've been a movie addict. My tastes are always changing but here are some of my constant favorites:

Shows

In addition, some of my favorite shows are Supernatural, Harper's Island, Alice (Syfy), You're Beautiful, Legend of the Seeker, Sherlock Holmes BBC, and Gordon's Great Escape.
