The Beach and the City
We met in the usual way he asked me out and we just clicked. I don't know what else to say. Some say we're completely different: Him with his band and me with my board, the water and the land. Coexisting together in perfect harmony like the waves on the sand. Who would have thought?

Yet there are times when I feel as though I'm at the end of my rope. When his band got their huge break, we were all thrilled. Then the news crew came around crowding the beach around my house. Following me with cameras all around the town asking me questions about Blay and I. Did we plan to get married, have kids, our personal life? I never wanted all this attention but I held myself together for Blay. I never could under stand how he could keep such a cool head around them. He gets mobbed more than I do but there he is playing his part as a smiling carefree rock star.

In the end, I love him and there's nothing more to discuss…
