The cold dark embraced the air around you, the algae upon the rocks luminous and lighting your way through these mountainous tunnels, which only led further and further downwards. The bitter bite of the floating island's core was creeping through your veins as you pressed forwards, curious to where such a journey will lead. Were the legends true of the Eternal Spring? Of it's promised eternal youth and extensive knowledge, which spanned across the world, if not more?
You must find out. Find out if such stories are true.

You want to drink from the spring.

At the gently declining slope ended you found your eyes viewing a most spectacular sight. One that will most probably remain printed to your memory like a photographic image for the rest of your life.

The whole cavern seemed to glow with an eternal, unearthal light which tinged the space with the subtle hue of violet, most of this mystifying aura ebbing in rays of soft light from the large pool of water which lay metres away from you, beckoning you forwards like a siren's song to the clouded mind of men. The level ground made it easy for you to move forwards, eyes locked upon this mystical sight, not daring to tear it away in fear of losing such a magical wonder. Suddenly out of the dark impervious gloom of the rocky cavern walls a colossal creature swept out at you, knocking your head so that you flew backwards with a startled cry of fright and pain. As you squinted through a vision of black and purple dots which twirled about your vision you looked out to the front of you, making out a faint dark outline in the not so far distance of something big. By the time your vision cleared you already had the fear and hope of the adjoined legends of the Eternal Spring's keeper were nothing but stories. Sadly this was not the case. Before you stood a large, no, colossal dragon before you, it's eyes aflame with much irritation towards you.

Gulping nervously you started to shuffle backwards on your bum, hoping to get away without making too much movement. The incandescent glow of violet which erupted from her pupiless eyes highlighted the creatures long snout and delicately built skull as well as bringing much notice to the large amount of razor sharp fangs which lined her jaws that were, unfortunately for you, parted to allow a thick chorus of growls rattle from the walls of a cavern as it surveyed you through clenched teeth.

"What is a human like you doing here on my island? By my spring?"

she snarled viciously, obsidian talons ripping across the veined rock in which she perched upon in the centre of the pool, causing chucks of rock to become scraped off and to fall into the pool, causing ripples of iridescent blue to fly across it's surface towards you.

Your lips parted, to quiver, the voice lost due to this impressive yet most terrifying sight of the she draconic before you. The glow from her eyes dimmed to reveal reptilian like slitted eyes staring straight at you, narrowing with impatience

"Fine. Be that way guest… Continue to gawk like a goldfish at me."

She sneered, her bladed tale skimming across the surface of the water to produce yet more entrancing azure ripples. Snapping your mouth shut almost instantly you notice that the dragon wasn't in a particularly bad mood enough for punishing you, or at least eating you. The cyberistic wings of a startling violet which once buzzed with a intense electrical-like energy also too dimmed as she folded it down behind her, barely visible upon her back upon which it lay.

"So I figure guest that you came to seek the Eternal Spring, well here it is. You have seen it now is that enough? Go home and tell your human people about it however they will not believe you as this place is a myth as am I. Who will actually believe someone like you would find such a place as this? I wouldn't."

she smirked, her cool matured voice reverberating around her to you, making This Prussian scaled draconic seem all that more majestically spectacular. Curling your bruised legs up to your chest and hugging them tightly as you watch the dragoness recline to the small island, tail wrapping around it's base so that her tail blade tip rested just in the water.

"What…. Who are you? How did you know my name?"

you ask, trying to formulate a carefully calculated sentence which wouldn't spur the dragon into the anger you had experienced not too long ago. Her elongated brow quirked, closed lips parting to sneer unpleasantly at you as she surveyed you carefully before choosing to answer.

"I am Ophira and the answers to most of those questions you ask are quite obvious human… As you can see I am indeed a dragon, an ancient immortal of the draconic species too for I am an Astral, one of the last remaining on this god forsaken earth. I'd rather be in a place I belong than here.. And I know your name because I can and am able to."

She replied in a low tone, no more than a whisper however loud enough for you to hear.

"Huh? Belong where? You mean you don't actually come from here?"

you question quizzically, shutting up as you catch Ophira's sharp, penetrative glare.

"Yes. I don't belong here but that is a long story and one that I shall not bore your feeble mind with."

She growled, staring straight into your questioning, perplexed gaze. Groaning silently beneath her breath Ophira shifts upon her platform, arching her long neck gracefully

"Fine, remain where you sit because this is going to be a rather lengthy tale.."
