Villa De La Cute started out small, and has grown into something big. We are all a nice big, happy family. ;) We respect each other, have fun, and believe that the key to happiness is to love each other. HA!! You ACTUALLY believed that didnt you?? Tehe!! Hey!! Im Rachel, the owner of Villa De La Cute. Being in Villa De La Cute is always a blast, and it is important we all have fun!! So, lets begin the story of how our cute little town came to be!!

It all began when pooooor Rachel was guildless. Yup. And ya know, being guildless really stinks, because you have your standards, and nothing ever meets them. TRUST ME, I know. So, Rachel just got fed up with it. F. E. D. U. P. So, she made her own guild, to meet all of her hiiiigh standards!! And, along the way, let me tell you, there were those bumps in the road. Villa De La Cute was not always called Villa De La Cute. (V.D.L.A) It once began as a small guild called SwEEt T00th. But then, SwEEt T00th became ~SnaZZZy~, and ~SnaZZZy~ became KABOOM!! and KABOOM!! became V.D.L.A. And now we are all very happy with out amaaaazing "town" neo-related theme!! So join our big happy, loving, caring family!! This was a touching history, wasnt it?? It was filled with adventure, bravery, comedy, and romance. NOT!! It was just Rachel making a totally amaaaaazing guild. Haha!

Alright, so I know this part really stinks. Rules stink in general. But, I know you are going to come to love these rules, because these rules are what keep our guild in a some-what organized little thing. The first time you break a rule, (other than rule #1) it is a warning. Next time it is a suspension for 3 days. Strike three is YOUR OUT! Literally!

1.) BE ACTIVE.
Let me tell you, this rule is the one that is broken most often. I cant tell you how many members have had to leave us do to being in-active. PLEASE. Before you join our family, think a little!! Are YOU going to come on at least 3 times a week and chat with us?? Because our standards are high when it comes to being active. We do indeed do weekly member sweeps, and if you havent been on in the past week and posted AT LEAST 3 messages, then you WILL be kicked out!! We want an ACTIVE guild for our members.
2.) BE RESPECTFUL!!
This means no name calling, being rude, or anything else that falls under the catergory of respectful. Theres not much more I need to say for this, just that THINK before you ACT.
3.) NO SPAMMING.
By this I mean, you may not post more than 3 messages in a row. Its spamming. Also, each message must be at least 5 words!! So, no "Hey" for one message. Something like "Hi everybody!! How are you all??" is what we are expecting.
4.) NO BEGGING/ADVERTISING
Okay, I made this the same rule because they are both wrong to do in a guild. NO begging for money or neopoints ever. We are not a money tree. No advertising your trades or auctions either. Unless you are doing free trades and/or auctions for the guild. But no, "Ill give all members a special deal on the codestone set!!"
5.) SEMI-LIT OR ABOVE
You MUST speak Semi-literate or above. We allow smileys in our guild. ;) I cant resist those cute little guys! But no tlking lyk dis @ll da tym. It gets quite annoying, and nobody wants to read THAT gibberish on the message boards.
6.) HAVE FUN!!
Even though we have rules, our guild is only enforcing them so all members can have an enjoyable experience. Follow the rules, and Im sure we will all have a great time!!

Okay, well since we are very particular about who may join our town, then I am going to ask you to fill out the application and send it to chunky_monkeeyz. Now, remember, this application is all about being INTERESTING. What I mean by that isnt saying your favorite neopet is Barack Obama. I mean interesting as in making me go, "Oh, thats cool!!" or "Gee, this person is funny, I would want them in my guild!!" Catch my attention.

Thank you for applying! If oyu have been accepted, you are probably thinking now, what do I do?? Here are a few painless things you can do to get you a good start in Villa De La Cute!

1.) Introduce yourself on the guild boards. Tell us your name, your age, and maybe a little about yourself!
2.) Enable Guild Mailings (in your preferences)
3.) Add your birthday to the calendar!
4.) Explore our town!

Due to the fact that we chat A LOT, we strive for pretty message boards. This means that we really would like you to make your font stylish by making a pretty color, or maybe changing the font style. ;) We like our message boards to be fabulous and pretty, not dull and boring. If you dont know how to change your font, then follow along with this brief mini tutorial! Yay mini tutorial!!

Ze Mini Tuturial..... How to Make Your Font Stylish!

NOTE: I recommend opening up two tabs, so you dont have to keep flipping back and forth. If you dont know how to open up tabs, then you can see my WOW, you sure aren't the sharpest pencil in the box tutorial.

1.) Hover over boards. You will find this on the toolbar which is found next to the neopets logo on the top left corner. Once you have hovered, click on preferences.

2.) Locate the section titled NeoHTML/Signature. In the FIRST box that allows you to type is where we will be doing all the dirty work.

3.) Erase everything in the box, if there is anything.

4.) Start with tags. They look like this: [. Whenever I mention tag, immediantly think of this sign: [. So, first put ONE tag.
So far, you should have THIS in your text box: [

5.) After the tag, do NOT put a space, but simply type font f=impact. I am using impact simply because it is my current font. You can of course change the font type you want, but this is just an example.

6.) Now, put a space, and then type c=green. Once again, this is just an example. You can put whatever color you want! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, it doesnt matter. Its just an example.
So far you should have THIS in your text box: [font f=impact c=green

7.) Next, put another space and type s=3. JUST an example! You can put 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I am just using 3 because it is a normal sized font. Easy to read.
So far you should have THIS in your text box: [font f=impact c=green s=3

8.) NOW, we are going to CLOSE the tags. Now dont worry!! Dont get your pits sweaty yet, cuz this is nothing! To close the tags. Just put the opposite tag: ]. Wow. Simple, right??

9.) Now, we want the text to be centered. So, put a space, then open up your tags again, and type center, then simply close the tags. SIMPLE!

10.) Ok. Next step is another easy peezy step. DONT put a space, but type neoHTML. It has to have neo in lowercase letters, and HTML in caps. Dont ask me why, I didnt invent it.

11.) Now, we are going to just undo everything we did. By this I mean, put a space, then type [/font], then another space, followed by [/center] And your done!

12.) THE LAST STEP!! Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on submit! And, WOW! You just stylified your font! Congratulations!! Give yourself a hand! WOO HOO!! Thanks for reading this mini tutorial. ;)
