You walk through the dense coniferous forest. Rain falls form the cloud-covered sky with a steady drizzle, making eveything around you damp. You walk on, when suddenly before you stands a rather small skunk Lupe. He seems to look you over, not sure if you are a friend or foe. Finally he steps forward and says with a slight accent: "Greetings. My name is Nuoli."

I have always been alone. Always. When I first opened my eyes, I stared at the vast forest around me, the endless green. And from that very moment, I loved it. The Forest. The Freedom. And The Loneliness. But as I soon learned, I wasn't wanted in that part of the forest. I was chased out by The Ones Who Live There. Since that day, I have been wandering around, looking for a place to call my home. I often sit on starry nights and gaze at the full moon, wandring if I will ever find the right place. But i'm not unhappy. Far from it. I never knew such things as hate or sorrow. I'm just happy as a wandering soul who roams the world.

We met one dark night when I aimlessly stumbled apon the graveyard she guards. At first I feared her, she can be pretty frightening at times, but we soon got to know eachother better, and now we are quite good friends. We aren't that different. She is also very lonely and doeasn't have many friends, just like me.I'm glad I got to know her.
