About Club Chocolate
(A chocolate directory)

The chocolate club was formed as a safe haven for chocolate pets who are often targeted. Because chocolate pets are so rare and very special, many neopets are jealous of their uniqueness. Chocolate pets are also thought to be tasty treats and so they often have to hide themselves from hungry neopets and owners. Worse of all, they have to worry about melting in the sun so they tend to stay indoors and only go out in the evenings. With so much to worry about, a place was needed where chocolate pets could unite to help comfort each other and provide a source of friendship. The club house was constructed by _Gingerman_ and some of his fellow chocolate friends out of wood and various materials. To the left is a picture of Imprettycheeky who just finished painting the roof!

The Chocolate Club meets every day and any chocolate pet is welcome to join if their owner wishes to bring them to our gatherings. Our house is made of some very special materials and features some of the following items:

About the Club Caretaker:

_Gingerman_ was originally a brown cybunny. His owner's favorite cousin Jocelynn (a.k.a. Queenofthelavas) generously blessed _Gingerman_ with a fountain faerie quest and painted him chocolate. After he became chocolate, he decided to create club chocolate in hopes that other chocolate neopets would join. With a small circle of friends and the help of his owner Angellashley, he created the house from scratch. _Gingerman_ is named after Ashley's real life pet rabbit who she loves dearly.

The VIP Members of Club Chocolate:

VIP members are special because they are either pets of angellashley's or her close associates. They have special duties in Club Chocolate and help the directory run smoothly.
The Vice President

Thumbelinda is the Vice President of Club Chocolate.
She helps Gingerman run all of the internal affairs. She is also our
fantasy coordinator, which means she is in charge of
story-telling while encouraging others in the club to form
magical memories.

The Botanist CherrieTruffle the chocolate blumaroo loves making floral arrangements and makes sure that the landscaping around Club Chocolate is always at its best. She knows that members feel more joyful when they are in a beautiful environment and she gets compliments for her efforts every day.	The King Samoyie is also known by the name of Samuel the Great. He is the King of Chocolate land. He helped _Gingerman_ obtain the funds to start Club Chocolate and although he plays a minor role now in participating, without his initial help Club Chocolate would probably not be as great as it is today.	The Party Planner Glyb the Chocolate Usul is our party planner. She hosts parties for Club Chocolate and helps make sure that a cake is always present and that it is always delicious. She also hosts a sleep over party once a month where owners can bring their Chocolate pets and leave them over night.	The Traveler Candleoo the chocolate chomby is an explorer by nature. During certain times of year, he can be found seeking treasure in dark caves. He is also a trader and sells chocolates on the Silk Road. His chocolate sales (as well as the sale of spices and perfumes) help make revenue for the club.
The Parlor Owner Celotti the chocolate kougra owns and runs the ice cream parlor. A lover of ice cream, she knows all of the flavors. Celotti ensures that everyone in club chocolate gets their free scoop for the day and by doing so keeps the members very happy.	The Event Coordinator SouffleChocolate the chocolate zafara is our event coordinator. Any fun activites that take place in the club are the work of her imagination. Her favorite event is the halloween spooktacular party which she plans once a year in October. She also takes suggestions from club house members and plans around their ideas to come up with some great parties and get togethers.	The Decorator ImPrettyCheeky the chocolate kacheek has an eye for decorating. She was primarily responsible for designing club chocolate. She was essential in helping _Gingerman_ make it a chocolate neopet's paradise. Without her dedication, the house wouldn't look nearly as spiffy as it does.

How to get your very own Chocolate
Since there is no chocolate paint brush, there are two primary ways for a chocolate pet to be created:

1. Fountain Faerie Quest

The fountain faerie can paint your pet chocolate provided that you fetch her a special item that she asks for. This very rare quest comes in the form of a random event and can be one way to obtain a chocolate pet of your very own.

2. The Lab Ray

The Secret Laboratory Map is a way to obtain a chocolate pet. If you buy all 9 pieces of the lab map, you gain access to the secret lab where once a day you can zap a pet of your choosing and have the opportunity to change colors, stats, and gender. With patience and a lot of luck, you could zap any pet that can be painted chocolate and hope that one day it will transform your pet into a chocolate neopet.

3. A third way was brought to my attention by Emma (elm811). Apparently if you own a chia and feed it a ton of chocolate it *might* transform your pet into a choco chia. To see the editorial article where that was mentioned click here.

How to Join:
(please follow the steps below)

1. If you wish to join please neomail angellashley so she can add you to the list of neopets allowed inside our exclusive house. :)
2. Little trophies are awarded to pets who meet a certain criteria. When you neomail angellashley with your pet please specify which trophies you qualify for so that she can verify.
3. Please put up a button (found at the bottom of this page) on your Choco pet's lookup to show that you belong to the Club and to help advertise the directory so that other Choco pets may join! It REALLY helps us grow and I greatly appreciate it when users link back to us. If you don't know how to add a button or need help, let me know. Thanks!

I try to update every few weeks but real life (college, work, etc) gets in the way sometimes.
I'm also a NC mall trader so I get a ton of neomails about nc items and sometimes I forget that I have choco adds and delete my inbox to make room.
