Story:
Life for a Uni cannot be written in just a book without pictures, it cannot be explained in riddles, and it cannot be mocked by airhead stereotypes that put down the true story...

Born by a cloud, a baby can fall into anyones hands whether they be good or bad, if they catch you and decided to take you home; and thats what happened to me.

Dropped from a peach cloud i fell into the dark hands of a stanger, a stanger of evil and misery; a stranger who i knew wasn't going to care for me.
As weeks went by i stay in the corner of a room hiding from my fate for i thought if he couldnt find me, i would be safe.

When i was about two years old, he foud where i was and cut off my wings as punishment, he then put some magic potion on my back to keep them from growing again...that was the worst pain that anyone could endure and since then i have never cried. Pain was too much for me to cry. to strong for me to do a thing.

i just sat for the next month just sitting there thinking of how i could of landed in such a horrible persons hands. Finally one day i called the Neopian police when my evil owner wasn't home. they came over to question me and then i told them to hide before my owner got home so i wouldnt get in trouble.
No, we are not going to leave you with this man, he is going to abuse you more!" shouted one of the police men.

so i ran inside to my corner as they waited outside for my owner to come home.

When my owner pulled up in the driveway, the polce attacked him and arrested him for beating and abusive behavior towards neopets.

Since i no-longer had an owner, the Police had to take me to the neopian pound where i was fed gruel and had to sleep on a straw and cement floor. That place just made me think of a jail more then a pound, so cold and unwelcoming. I stayed far from other neopets so as not to be put down even more by thier bitterness.

One day as i was sitting and thinking to myself when a very colorful clothed person came up to my cage. Immediatly we locked eyes and I knew she was the one. I took my sore beaten body and ran up towards her. the onlything seperating me from her was the bars of the cage. one of the Pound keepers opened up the cage and took me out. i sat there looking up at her, hoping that she would take me with her, away from that nasty place.

She's Probly the saddest most quiet one we've got here maa'm, she hasn't interacted with any of the neopets we have introduced her to. She's probly going to be the next for the Sloth pet Experiments if no one takes her." Said the man as he took me out of the cage.

She is the most beautiful little thing i ever saw. i cant understand why anyone would abandon her," said the woman standing infront of me, "and where are her wings? was she born without them?

No, said the man, "she was abused badly by her last owner, he even cut off her wings because he was so abusive...

How sad... I will take her!" Exclaimed the woman as she carefully picked me up and took me to the registration desk.

After We got back to her house, I saw a bunch of other neopets waiting outside of the neohome to greet their mom. There were Two Uni's both guys one younger looking than the other. The younger one was Darkly spotted with a maroon and grey mane, the older one was light blue with a beard and a lions tail. his wings kept dissapearing. There was also a Peophin next to them and a maroon and black checkered gelert. she looked evil, but the Peophin looked very kind and gentle. She had a cresent moon on her stomach and a star on her shoulder. She was different because she had wings too, on the last and biggest feather of her wing she had a cresent moon on it. I assumed right away that this was to be my new family.

But there was also three more pets. A split Aisha that was Yellow and Orange, a green Cybunny, and a green grundo. they all seemed cheerful and proud to be alive.

behind the first four pets were littler pets that seemed very figity around every one.

I looked around away from the neopets and i saw the most beautiful meadow in the world. There was purple mountians and green grass. Life as i knew it would be perfect forever.

I couldn't sleep that night for i was thinking of all the excitement that would be tomorrow, of meeting new pets and sharing with me new brogthers and sisters. I couldnt help but think this be a dream...

My love Spirito loves me very much and i hope to stay with him forever...He is a Clydstale Uni who too doesnt have any wings. he gives me a sense of protection and belonging.
