Thank you for the lovely watercolour!

The world was falling apart - piece by piece it went. I watched it crumble, but I did nothing.

Everyone scrambled on their hands and on their knees, picking up the shards of lost hope and taping them back in place. They covered the holes with impossibilities and cemented the cracks with desperation.

I knew it wasn't a permanent fix, and I'd guess at how long these temporary solutions would last before they gave way once more. The world was dying faster than we could put it back together.

I stood by and watched as the world fell apart, because I knew there was nothing we could do about it.

Absolutely nothing but make the process go by faster.
