It all stated the day I was born. I was a moehog. A Green Moehog for a total of 2 minutes before I was morphed. You see, my owner, Eileen, wanted a Mutant Moehog. So I was the guine pig. I was young and nieve. I was also considered special because I was Eileen's second pet. You see she is very piccy about what pets she has, always wanting to make sure they are the ones she will keep. Eileen was totaly content with me as a Mutatnt. She openly loved and cared for me and I was happy.
Happines only lasts for so long...
My brother Hazu was always kind to me as well. We would wait daily for Eileen to come and log on so we could play. One day Hazu and I went to walk around neopia. That's when I started to be ridiculed for my color and looks. Hazu would defend me, but that only slowed down my mental torture. Day after day I suffered. One day I finaly snapped under the pressure.
Hazu and I had made an agreement to not tell Eileen about our problems. She was trying to concentrate on her studies and was using a lot of her time to be with us already. We had a prosporous time at our neohome. Income was good, we didn't have petpets but that was okay. As I was saying, one day I snapped. It was around January. Still cold enough to snow. I had been with Hazu at the neo-boards and we got seperated. The cruelty I had endured that day was too great for my, otherself, to handle. I heard the scorns and crule words or neopets and owners alike.
One day I finally approached my owner with a question.
A small mutant moehog walked in the small kitchen. His brother was already asleep as it was already late at night. The girl was turning off the lights when she saw the creature. "Zuka? Zuka what's the matter?" she asked plucking the creature from the floor."Mum, can I ask you a question? That was around the time I still called her 'Mum' Go ahead Zuka." she said patting his head. "Can I be morphed?
That was the start of my new joureny. I admit to being incredably stupid and nieve back then, acting like a baby. Well we dicussed this for sevral days before she made an offer on the lot that contained my destiny. The day I took the potion she had asked me once more. "Are you sure?" I remember looking at the bottle with the swirling black liquid and nodding.
I woke up a week later after drinking the Shadow Ixi Morphing Potion. It took some getting use too, every time you walked on something hard to hear the click of your hooves. One day I decided to make a test, to see if it was really ture, that the outside was the only thing that counted in this sick little world.
It was
I was talked to and even flirted with because of my looks. Most would think that's what I would want but it hurt incredably. I wandered around the whole of neopia till I found myself infront of the pound. A snow drift was falling and my ebony coat stood out among it. I lay gently to the ground ready to go to sleep. Why live in this time when I could end it all.
Get up!
The voice was rough and was followed by a violent nudge. I looked up at an Ixi. He was purple and possesed long grey horns. Powerful would be one way to describe him. He held an air of command about him, something that you had to respect. "You heard me, I said rise to your hooves and carry yourself like an Ixi." I merely looked to the ground. "I'm not an Ixi. Just a Moehog.." I muttered. He glared down at me and I expected him to turn and walk away, but he didn't. At that moment I found my first true friend. Zelnixy was the head buck in a Ixi herd. We were powerful and strong and I was happy for awhile.
Then it happened
We were ambushed by a pack of Lupe. Zelnixy was struck down by the lead,Sketorro. I myself avenged my leaders death. But now I was alone again. That was when the new chapted of my life began. I met Slate. I was haunted by my felled commrades and Slate, he is my protection form the darkest Shadows, the evil that comes for me in my dreams.
