This is a page made to explain everything you might need to know about the forest on Neopets, and what to do once you've joined. The Xweetok Forest is private, and has a level standard for RP, so it doesn't come public often. Because of that, this page is where you go when it is not public.

First, the basics for the forest.

WhoAreWe?

ROLEPLAY As stated before, the Xweetok Forest is a roleplay guild. But we are set apart from other RP guilds, for multiple reasons. One, is that we RP on many different landscapes, the home-base- a Forest, the allied lands, a pillar-like mountain,, and the enviroments between, namely canyons, jungles, plains, and a swamp, all connected to the Forest with magical stone-halves, allowing instantaneous travel to the other section of mentioned stone. ....Okay, that was a bit much in such a short time XD. But in all seriousness, that is the RP landscape the xweetoks of the guild live on. Mainly the Forest is the usual setting, however. More RP things are described later. The RP level of advancedness in the Xweetok Forest is standard. We prefer good, clear, understandable RPs, that move along nicely and are not always distracted and random, with descriptive posts. Combining that with our landscapes, a heirarchy clan system, and occasional plots, the Xweetok Forest is a unique roleplay guild indeed. ART Along with RP, the Xweetok Forest also has many artists, of all levels. We have an oekaki, a free, online and simple drawing site where you draw on a page with a program there, and upload it to get feedback and comments. Along with that, there is plenty of support from other members, who can help make you become better with art, and look at your drawings for you. All levels are accepted, none are critisized, no matter how it looks. The forest, besides RP, is a great art community as well. The oekaki isn't just for members of TXF, and if you can find it, you're welcome to join the 'kaki. (Just a note: To clear this up, since we've had some problems with this in the past, just because you're an oekaki member, dosen't mean you'll be accepted into the guild.) COMMUNITY One of the best things about the forest, however, is the community. With many, many great and friendly members, everyone strives to be friendly and open, and no one is purposely left out or shunned. It is a place to relax and chat with friends, or talk about characters and roleplay. All types reside in the forest, some a little more hyper than others, but everyone gets along well.

TheClanS

Basic Overview; What they are There are four clans in TXF, each with two sub-clans. The clans are as follows: Azar (fire), Shui (water), Sora (air), and Aventi (earth). The two sub-clans are Sorin (sun/day) and Lune (moon/night). Every xweetok living in the forest belongs to one of thease clans, based off their powers and/or personality.

THE CLANS

Azar: The Azar clan was founded by Quenaii, when she found the Fire Stone, and Xirage and Quenaii placed it upon the West Mountains, placing the Azar Clan into the rankings. The name, Azar, means Fire, and it was the first clan founded. Most of the elements of the Azar are related to Fire, and mostly the members have firey temperaments. Sometimes they can be rather trickstorous, but on a whole, usually they are loyal, well, the Sorin Azar are. The Lune Azar are a bit darker but still firey.

Shui: The Shui Clan is the Water Clan, and it was founded by Xarnya, who dove into Lake Mira, fetching the Water Stone and setting it in the bottom of the lake with Xirage, setting up the Shui Regions. Xaryna and Caltoran were the first Valter/Valteras of the Shui clan, but soon Caltoran went missing, and after that Xarnya died so Sieo was chosen as the new Shui Valtera. It was the second clan founded, and is usually more calm than most. The members of the Shui Clan usually have something to do with water, including ice, and are often calm and kind. Well, again the Sorin are, but the Lune have their own agenda, being a bit mysterious.

Aventi: Aventi is the Earth Clan, and was founded by Xeikeh, when trekking deep into the forest he discovered the Earth Stone, and set it on the highest tree in the forest, officially activating the Aventi clan. The Aventi is the third clan discovered, and one of the most important to the forest, seeing as it is a forest, and connected to earth. Xeikeh left the forest, perminantly, and Puarrel became the new Aventi Valter. The Aventi is a varied clan, some in the Sorin are kind and outgoing, while others in the Lune are quite tempered and mean.

Sora: The Sora is the famed Air clan, and the final clan to be established by Xirage and Xorren when while skygazing one day, the Air Stone literally toppled on him! He and Xirage soon placed it in the largest clearing of the forest. Xorren was the original Valter, but he went missing, and therefore Yurikate was appointed as the new Sora Valtera. The Sorin of the clan are usually day-goers, and kind as well, most of the time. the Lune are actually more night-connected, loving to star gaze at night. Lune Sora are very very mysterious, most of them are, and most are powerful as well, though hide it.

THE SUB-CLANS

Sorin: Sorin is the first sub-clan, the sun/day sub-clan. Members of this sub-clan generally tend to be out during the day, and have cheerful, polite dispositions. They are often kind and outgoing, though not all Sorin are. The specifics of Sorin personalities and powers depends on the clan.

Lune: Lune is the second sub-clan, the moon/night sub-clan. Xweetokes in this sub-clan tend to be out at night, and can be secretive, mean, powerful, and often musterious. They tend to be the 'darker' personalitied xweetokes, though not all are. The speficis of Lunes vary with the clans.

Choosing a clan & sub-clan Choosing a clan and sub-clan is pretty simple, and something that we ask all members to try to do for all of their pets living in the forest.

1. Okie, first step. Know their powers if the xweetok has one, and their personality/design.
2. Alrighty, start with choosing a clan. If you xweetok has powers, then it should be relatively simple. For example a xwee using wind powers would be in Sora. Now, not all of the xwees in the forest have powers. For those that don't, choose from personality, after all the elements do have typical personality sets with them. Air tends to be carefree, fire tends to be tempered, or dry, water tends to be calm, and earth tends to be serious. Of course, placement by personality is only something that is used after powers.
3. Good, so you have a clan now for your xwee! Time to choose a sub-clan. Sub-clans tend to be based more off of personalites - except for Sora, which is easy to pick a sub-clan based off powers. For example, many use night related powers, which fits them into Lune. Familiarize yourself with personality traits for Lune and Sorin in the sub-clans of the clan chosen. Whichever one matches closer to your xwee is the sub-clan they should be in.

Awesome, now your xwee has a clan and sub-clan! Now you can pick the gem that corresponds to their clan/sub-clan and put it on their look-up.

Valteria, Valterion, Valters, Valteras, and Deacons
WHAT THEY ARE

Valteria: The female leader of the entire forest, and the mate of the Valterion. She can order around the entire forest - Deacons, Valters, Valteras, Elite Guard, and regular forestees.

Valterion: Basically a male Valteria. Mate to the Valteria, he also can order around anyone in the forest, and is both the other leader of the forest and leader of the Elite Guard.

Valters: The male leaders of the clans, there are four at most - one per clan. They are mates of the Valteras and can order around only deacons and forestees in their own clans and can only be ordered around by the Valteria and Valterion.

Valteras: Basically the same thing as Valters only female. They are mates of the Valters, and leaders of their clans, and their can be up to four at one time. Valteras can order about forestees and deacons in their own clans, and can only be ordered around by the Valteria and Valterion.

Deacons: Deacons are leaders of each sub-clan, and do not have to be mates. They can be deacon-pairs if they so choose - mates and each one rules their own sub-clan. There is a Lune deacon and a Sorin deacon for every clan, a total of eight in total. Deacons can only order about members of their clans in their own sub-clans.

Valteria And Valterion
Xirage is the Valteria, and Velemiir is the Valterion.

Valters and Valteras
Azar
Kaiomari is the Azar Valtera, and nnc role played by Kai. There is no Azar Valter at the moment.
Shui

Lukuiq is the current Shui Valter, and Sieo is the current Shui Valtera.
Sora

Yurikate is the current Sora Valtera, and Freyjadour is the Sora Valter.
Aventi

Kuhn is the current Aventi Valter, and there is no Aventi Valtera at the moment.

Deacons
Azar
There are no Azar deacons, at the moment.
Shui
Enaanshallc is the Sorin Shui deacon, there is no Lune Shui deacon currently, Sieo will appoint one soon.
Sora
ManaMahado is the current Lune Sora deacon, Yurikate will choose the Sorin Sora deacon eventually.
Aventi
The Lune Aventi deacon is Rien, a non-created-character RPed by Kathrya, the Shui Valtera. The Lune Aventi is not yet chosen.

WishToJoiN?

Joining TXF is relatively easy, though we are picky about who we send an invite to, in order to try and keep the guild n00b-free. There are a few guidelines that you must fit, and a short app to fill out on a petpage. When you have familiarized yourself with the rules and have completed the app, then you can neomail Kathrya with the link to your app and ask for an invite as long as invites are open.

RULES:

1. You must have at least one Xweetok
2. You must be a literate role player
3. You need to be familiar with role play, for example, you need to know not to power play/god mode, and what the terms mean.
4. It is prefered that you have a designed xweetok, but it is alright if you xwee is not designed yet. Just remember, none of the xweetokes in the forest look like say, a normal red xweetok
5. No chatspeak is to be used in the guild
6. No begging
7. Nothing stolen on lookups/pages/etc.
8. Please, be polite when requesting and when in the guild
9. As stated above, this MUST go on a petpage. No neomail applications, no exceptions.
