Welcome to my page...

Have you ever heard of a young peophin who, upon escaping from a most terrible fate, found out that she transformed into a dragon during each Full Moon? I hadn't either; until I became that peophin.

You have stumbled upon the page of a not-so ordinary peophin...do you wish to read on? Be warned; if you are weak of heart, you do not belong here. And any evil-doers or friends of the enemy are not welcome.

So what is a petpage, really? To most, it is a page where they can type down some information on their companion, likes, dislikes, etc. so that the world may know. But to me, it is a place where I can reveal to you the most secret of secrets about myself...about my past, my future, my present. It is where I can teach you what I know, and hopefully, you may one day known enough to pass it on to someone else. Welcome, student, to the mystifying realm of Dragonology.

~Forever Yours, (Most Sincerely)
Zora N.S.

My Story

Long ago, at midnight, two faeries met in the dark of the woods. One held a small bundle in her arms; the other held nothing. "Do you have her?" The second faerie asked. The first faerie nodded, a tear dribbling down her cheek. "Yes, I do. She's sleeping. I..I don't know how..." she stopped, trying not to cry. "What happened?" The second faerie asked. The faerie holding the bundle sobbed softly, then regained herself. "I don't know, Jhudora, I just don't know. Why someone would leave such an innocent thing on my doorstep...barely breathing, clinging to life...I just don't know." Jhudora grimaced, and undid the blanket around the bundle. Inside, snoring peacefully, was a tiny creature, sort of like a peophin, but with large horns on her head, and shiny, purple scales covering her body. Jhudora gasped. "Is..is this..the One?" She asked her sister, in a faint whisper. Illusen nodded. "I believe so." Suddenly, behind them, a twig snapped, and something rushed at the sisters, hurled them over, and grabbed the sleeping neopet. "No! Stop!" Illusen cried out, using her magic to slow their attacker down. Jhudora joined forces with her sister, desperately trying to get the baby back. But nothing worked. The creature growled fiercely, and swiped at the faeries, knocking them out. Then it ran. Ran out of the woods, across the countryside. Ran through deserts, lakes, rivers. Ran until night faded into day. After that journey, it fell to the ground, pating, weak. Then it lookup up, first at the sun shining above it's head, then at it's surroundings...then it knew, it had arrived.

The Transformation

I don't remember anything about my childhood. Now, as an almost adult peophin, all I know is what happened that fateful day, when I came across Lupin, Golden, and Miracal.

I was walking in the woods. My heart was beating faster than usual; every little noise made me jump. What if they were coming after me?
I shivered, didn't want to think about what might have happened, would have happened, if I had stayed. But I hadn't stayed. I had escaped. Escaped, ran from, that horrible place, that place I had been brough to against my will. No smiling faces, not a friend in sight. Not that I knew what a friend was, really. I imagined, that a friend was someone loyal, someone who cared about your feelings, didn't want you hurt or upset. But I'd never had a friend, so, I thought, maybe I was imagining it wrong? It was a dark night, not scary, just dark. To some, just the dark is enough to make them jump out of their skin; but not me. I had seen much scarier things than a blackened sky. The moon slowly came into view up in the sky, from behind a mountain. I knew I was going to change, change into that other being. Not that it was bad; because it wasn't. As that other being, I had been able to escape; so really, I owned that other being my life. But it was confusing, really. I could do so many unheard of, powerful things as that other being. The moon, round and full and shining a pure silver, caught my eye. The eye that started the transformation. My large tailfin behind me, starting forming into legs, back legs, like most horses or horse-like creatures had. I stretched my just-transformed legs, shook my scaly head, which only a minute ago had been covered in a thick, purple fur. Now I was the other being, the other creature; no longer a peophin, meant to swim the largest sea, I was now some other thing. Scales covered me head to toe; my mane and tail, usually tame, thick locks, was now wild; still thick, thicker than before actually. My red eyes were still there, but the pupils were cat-like, or snake-like maybe. The horns that had sprouted from my head, horns that should'nt have been there, were reflecting the moonlight off of their opalescence. I stared at the circle in the sky, the cause of my transformation. It puzzled me, why I have this happen to me. I didn't not like it; I was more powerful in this form, a better, stronger me. I walked on, no longer panicked, but even more alert than before. My transformation tended to attrack magic, or creatures of magic, good or bad. If you could call it magic. I didn't really know what the power that I possessed was. Others had called it magic, but they hadn't been addressing me. They were all scared of me, because I'd been in that place, that horrible place. They didn't know that I was still good, still pure, that nothing could turn me to that darker side.

The Finding of Moonbeam

I heard a soft, moaning cry coming from the dark path ahead. My ears stood straight up, listening. I crept forward, slowly, cautiously. My iron hooves made no noise on the soft dirt. Another moan, this one softer, weaker, like the creature whom the sound had come from was closer to that soft, cloudy world. I came to stand by it's side; a soft, barely audible gasp caught my throat. It was a petpet, an Angelpuss. It was wounded, badly. Meowing pitiously, it shivered and shook, wimpering, holding a paw in the air, it's wounded paw. It's ear had huge bite marks in it; it's nose was bruised, eyes shut. I bent over the tiny creature, hoping I wasn't too late, but keeping my guard up, in case, for some odd reason, it was a trap. The angelpuss sensed my prescence; it tried to turn it's ear toward me, but it stuck in an odd angle, and wouldn't move. It opened an eye, stared at me, seemed alarmed, but couldn't move. It shut it's eye, whined. It's body went straight, and it went icy cold. No! my mind screamed at me to do something. I picked up the tiny creature in my arms, sniffed it; it was still alive, barely. I panicked, didn't know what to do...but suddenly I did. I clawed at my necklace, the one I always wore. Even during transformation, it still stayed chained around my neck. Now I was extremely glad for that. I picked up the charm, a skull-like head, with leathery wings, gleaming crystal eyes, and pressed it against the petpet's heart spot. The petpet glowed, softly glowed, nothing alarming, nothing scary. I understood that it was a healing light, a giving, good light. The angelpuss blinked, slowly moved it's paw, which only a second ago had been barely still attatched, and now was without a scratch. It mewed at me, eyes wet and happy. Then it coughed, coughed again, coughed over and over. My heart started beating faster, What had I done? Then it started changing, transforming. The tail went away, along with the small golden halo. The claws formed into hooves...and I was looking at a small babaa. Baaaa. Thank you. It said, smiling at me. You're welcome. I said, happy. What's your name? I asked.
Moonbeam.
Hi Moonbeam, I'm Zora. And that's when I realized that, for the first time in my life, I had a friend.

Coming to Neopia Central

Zora lookup up as she heard a twig snap behind her. She lept up, grabbed her sack, her petpet, and started to run. After a few seconds though, she tripped over a root, and fell, tumbling painfully to the ground. "Please, oh please..." she wimpered, wincing. "Please, I'm sorry I ran away, I just..." "What? Ran away from what?" Zora lookup up, and immediately saw a large, desert-colored lupe, staring at her with a frown. "What did you run from?" it asked, pulling her to her hooves with it's large paws. Zora mumbled something under her breath, something that sounded like, "Horrible place." The lupe shook his massive head, and looked at her. "Well, don't you look bedraggled." A soft chuckle.
I'm just fine, thank you very much." Zora sniffed, sticking up her nose. Moonbeam mimicked her new owner's actions, snubbing the large wolfish creature.
Ok, ok, sure." The lupe's face held a teasing sort of grin, as he sniffed the peophin-like neopet curiously but cautiously. "What are you anyway? Some sort of dragon?
A tingle ran down Zora's spine, as she turned around and walked away, clutching the babaa protectively to her chest. "Whatever I am is none of your business." She replied, not looking back.
The lupe, not surprisingly, followed her, his large, bushy tail swaying softly behind him. His large paws made obvious imprints in the dirt. "Maybe it is. You're her, aren't you?" His voice had took a serious tone. "You're the one that escaped.
Zora whirled around, taking on a fighting stance. "If you're here to bring me back, I won't go!" She yelled, glaring into the lupe's big black eyes. The lupe shook his head. "Believe me, I would never send anyone there.
Zora's muscles unclenched, just alittle.
Walk with me." The lupe ordered, beginning to stride away. Zora obeyed.
I was there once, too...many..." he stopped mid-sentence, glancing around with a knowing, suspicious look in his wise-looking eyes. "I know all too well what it's like. I myself escaped, and I'm still being searched for, one can only presume..." Again he stopped, glancing around.
Suddenly, he whispered, "I must not speak of it here. They could be listening...they may not be able to see, but they may be able to hear.
Zora was thoroughly confused, but she nodded, petting Moonbeam on the head. "How do I know I can trust you?" She asked suspiciously, a scowl forming on her lips. "Why should I trust you?
The lupe just held her gaze, didn't flinch like so many others had, before she'd escaped that...place. It was nice that someone would look her in the eye, and not shy away in fear.
I think that is self-explanitory." The lupe murmured, with a somewhat happy look on his face. "Zora, right? Zora Sequinn. I've heard much about you...
Zora offered the lupe her hoof. "Yes, Zora. And you are...
The lupe coughed. "Lupin; Lupin Remus Star.
Zora's eyes widened. She thought...she thought she had heard that name before...maybe, possibly, in the place that she had so long wanted to be free from. She thought she remembered the cell guards tossing the name around on occasion, as they sat outside her prison, keeping a close eye on her 24/7. She thought so...but she could've been wrong.
She showed none of this curiosity to Lupin, however. "That's a nice name. It reminds me of the-
Constellation? Yes, that's what I was named after." They exchanged smiles; Zora's was a relieved one, and Lupin's was a large, wolfish one.
Want something to eat? Drink? What about a place to stay? Do you have one? Have you bathed at all this week? I'd assume not..." He said jokingly; suddenly, the seriousness had flown out of his voice.
Zora narrowed her eyes. "I'm not smelly." She chuckled, as she caught scent of her scaly pelt. "Well...maybe I am, but how dare you be as bold as to say so." She couldn't really feel angry at him though; she was too excited to be angry. Moonbeam, on hearing the words 'eat' and 'drink' peered out from behind the folds of Zora's skirt. She made a cautious, 'baa' sort of sound, which to Zora sounded like, 'Moonbeam want food.' The lupe sniffed her, making her back up; but her short little tail wagged slightly, like a dog's. "Come on. You can barely take care of your petpet." He winked, grabbing Moonbeam's scruff in his teeth. Zora thanked him several times, and followed.

The Truth

So, basically, what am I? Well, I'm not quite sure. In my normal form, I'm a mostly normal-looking darigan peophin...but in my transformed body, I'm...half dragon. At least, I have many characteristics of a dragon; the large, ivory spikes on my head, the fire-breathing, the back legs. But then I have the odd crescent-moon-shaped mark adorning my forehead...

Basically, I'm still a mystery to myself. Skippy is pretty sure that, somehow, I inherited dragon powers, while still being all peophin...but to have dragon powers, I have to possess a few of the things they do. I have yet to meet my ancestors...Skippy is trying to arrange it, but it's very hard to get in contact with them. Skippy herself is of much dragon-ish knowledge; if you read her Adventure, you'll learn more about that. But, for now, my past is mostly a mystery...I wonder every day if it will be a temporary one, or a mystery for life.

The Basics

Dragonology is an interesting and difficult thing to study and learn. I will break down each lesson for you to make it easier, and in no time you too will be a master of dragons!

Lesson I

The Dragons

If you want to be a true dragonologist, you have to know about the creatures that you study. Here is a simple chart that lists all the types of dragons that reside in Neopia:

Common Dragons

Draik
First off, is the very popular Neopets, the Draik. These creatures are in the dragon family, and are often seen flying around Neopia on their small, short little wings. They are usually incredible in the Battledome, showing much strength and ferosity.

Krawk
Krawk's are in the dragon famkily, quite surprisingly. When you first look at one, you wonder how they can be. (They certainly don't look a thing like Draiks!) But a Krawk is actually a type of water dragon, who usually resides in a wetland-like area, making Krawk Island or Mystery Island a likely place for these little guys to make their home. They have no wings or fire-breath like most other dragons do, but they do have dragon-ish claws and scales.

Scorchio
The Scorchio is probably one of the most typical-looking dragons in Neopia. Scorchios have small, light wings that carry them around, and they have dragon scales and claws, and of course, dragon fire-breath. Scorchio's prefer warm climates; therefore, they also have dragon tendancies, as well as dragon appearances.

Shoyru
As a distant cousin of the Scorchio, the Shoyru is therefore another type of dragon. Shoyru's are much more timid than Scorchios, and they look different from their cousins as well. Shoyrus have large, claw-tipped wings coated in thick membrane, and they have more of a leather-ish pelt, instead of scales. They are also air-dragons, meaning, a dragon that spends most of his or her time taking to the skies.

Skeith
Skieths would actually look exactly like you picture a typical dragon to look, if they didn't have so much extra fat! Skeiths originated from the Draik, actually, and looked quite a lot like that other being long, long ago. But, one by one, more Skeiths soon became quite taken with more rest and sleep and relaxation time, soon forgetting their dragon tendancies to fly the skies and burn things down with their dragon-fire.

Zafara
Believe it or not, the Zafara is actually a very distant cousin to the dragon! I believe they were created when someone tried to mix a Draik with a Xweetok; a dangerous experiment (especially using the Lab Ray!) but it turned out pretty good in the end. Anyways, Zafaras don't have any wings, so therefore, they can't fly at all; nor do they have fire breath, sadly. It seems really that the only thing Zafaras got from their Draik ancestors were the scales along the rim of their backs, and the pointed, spear-head like tail.

Little Dragons

Some of the littler dragons and dragon-like creatures that reside in Neopia.

Huggy:

Huggys are little jolly petpets who want nothing more than a hug. How sweet. :) They are actually related to the Skeith...but they're not nearly as lazy!

Blorpulous

These adorable little creatures enjoy sitting on their owner's shoulder for hours at a time, gazing at Neopia. They are distantly related to the Shoyru.

Chumablah

While not always the most friendly petpets in Neopia, these little guys are excellent Math maticians, and are usually willing to help in any dragonology-related problem that may come about...as long as they get something out of it too. (Such as a new petpet scratching post!) They are related to the Draik.

Niptor

These little dinosaur-like creatures have very sharp teeth, and they enjoy biting everything they see. They're very quiet and shy but can sometimes be very energetic. They are cousins of the Grarrl, can't you see the resemblance?

Sauropod

These petpets are very timid and shy, but they can be very sweet once they get to know you. They'll gladly assist you with anything you want, and are great companions. They are distantly related to the Niptor and Grarrl.

Drackonack

Probably the most dragon-ish petpet of all, these stocky little guys are very friendly...or so it is said. They originated from the Darigan Citadel, but love to live in Meridell. They are related to the Skeith.

Ukali

These petpets are very shy and often scared; they don't like strangers, unless they get to know them. They always appear sad, no matter what you do for them. They are related to the Draik, and were originally called the Youlee.

Gallion

Named after money, these little petpets love all things shiny and sparkly. They love to be the center of attention, and enjoy long, rough discussions about all things under Kreludor. They are related to the Draik and the Scorchio.

Unique Dragons

There are some Neopian dragons who are a little different from the species they originated from. Here is a list of all those that I know of:

Swamp Krawk
Being one of the most difficult creatures to defeat in the White River Floodplain in the Meridell level of Neoquest II, the Swamp Krawk is very smart and cunning.

Demonic Grarrl
Being related to the regular Grarrl (yes, this beat really IS!) the Demonic Grarrl, naturally, is in the dragon family...although maybe it would be better off if it wasn't?

Skeletal Jailer
This creature is related to the Grarrl as well, so he is also in the dragon family, although there really is hardly any resemblance!

Rock Grarrl
Appearing in one of the first levels of the Terror Mountain phase of NeoQuest II, this strong Rock Grarrl is sure to scare off many who try to oppose him!

Ice Krawk
A distant cousin of the Swamp Krawk.

Sleet Krawk
Brother of the Ice Krawk, but with a little more ice covering his pelt. BRRR!

Undead Paladin
In relation to the Scorchio, these creatures can be found in the Lost Desert level of NeoQuest II!

Desert Guardian
In relation to the Shoyru. These guys would be somewhat cute-looking, if it weren't for the large, sharp-looking sword that they wield! They definately do a good job of guarding the Desert, unless someone with an even bigger sword comes by.

Cloudbeast
Related to the Draik, the Cloudbeast is a feared yet pretty villain in the Faerieland level of NeoQuest II.

Scorchio Commander
Rough and tough, these Scorcho Commanders can be found in nearly the same level as the Cloudbeast.

Dark Lieutenant
These Krawk-like beings can be found in Cumulonimbus, and are very strong and brave...which isn't good, because they are on the dark side.

Dark General
Very distantly related to dragons, these creatures want to keep you out of the Faerie City! Hopefully, if good prevails, they won't have their way.

Skeith Titan
These creatures are in relation to the Skeith, but they are much more energetic and strong.

Gebarn II
The dastardly boss in the Lost Desert level of NeoQuest II, Gebarn is half-krawk/half-skeleton, it seems.

King Terask
One of the most powerful dragons in Neopia, King Terask is the second to last boss in the Faerieland level of NeoQuest II. He is all dragon; I believe he even possesses fire breath. (Which isn't a very good thing for those who have to oppose him!)

King Terask II
The most powerful dragon in Neopia, period. The size of his back claws alone would send some Neopians fleeing for their lives! Residing in Faerieland as the last and final boss of the Faerieland level of NeoQuest II, King Terask II is feared by all.

Guardian of Fire Magic
Residing in NeoQuest I, the Guardian of Fire Magic is related to the Grarrl. He has the fire-breath ability, and it almost seems like he used it on himself!

Jungle Zafara
Also in NeoQuest I, the Jungle Zafara is slightly related to the regular Zafara.

A huge skeith
These creatures are just barely related to the Skeith...so they don't really have much dragon in them at all.

Giant Cave Lizard
Their name doesn't quite fit them...in reality, these 'giant' cave lizards are only small cousins of the Huge Skeiths.

Ghastly Master
These skeith-like creatures are part skeith and part ghost, and have many magical powers.

Juvenile Drakonid
The distant cousin of the skeith. In reality, the only thing that makes them good battlers is their high amount of hit points.

Adult Drakonid
Distant cousin of the skeith, and older version of the Juvenile Drakonid, if not a little more battle experienced.

Hatchling Drakonid
Really, these things aren't very scary at all.

Rock Scorchio
In relation to the Scorchio and the Rock Grarrl.

Elder Drakonid
Not very good battlers at all.

Mature Drakonid
Probably the best battler of the bunch of Drakonids.

Morgus Rock Scorchio
Brother of the Rock Scorchio.

Fumit Rock Scorchio
Brother of the Rock Scorchio and the Morgus Rock Scorchio

Giant Drakonid
Very large, but not very smart.

Praetus Rock Scorchio
In the Rock Scorchio family.

Tolbas Rock Scorchio
In the Rock Scorchio family.

Two Rings Cavalier
Basically just a Zafara wearing a helmet.

Heroes and Villains

Some of Neopia's most popular and well-known dragons.

Galem Darkhand
A brute-like, strong, villain, related to the Grarrl. He had a major role in the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot that happened some time back.

Kayla
One of the heroes of Meridell (twice!) Kayla is a potions master; if she can't brew it, no one can! Kayla is a Zafara.

King Skarl
The noble king of the peaceful land of Meridell, King Skarl enjoys his days eating...and eating, and eating, and- well, you get the picture! He is a Skeith.

Galgarroth
Second-in-command to Lord Darigan, lord of the Darigan Citadel, Galgarroth was somethings looked at as a shady creature. But now, light has once again shone upon the Citadel, and he is recognized as a hero. He is a Grarrl.

Swordmaster Talek
Commander of King Kelpbeard's underwater army, Talek is a very good swordsman, and a Draik.

Lesson II

Writing, Dragon Style

Long ago, dragon's came up with a secret way to communicate over long distances, using Dragon Script. Even though there are more modern ways for us to commune now, we still use this script as it is very handy and very secret.

Lesson III

The Elements

All dragons are a part of a certain Element of Nature, due to thier Astrology sign. (Actually, all beings on Earth are!) Here is a simple chart:

Fire
Signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius Direction: South Time: Noon Season: Summer Colors: Red, orange, gold, crimson, white, peridot.

Water
Signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces Direction: West Time: Twilight Season: Autumn Colors: Blue, blue-green, grey, aquamarine, indigo, white.

Air
Signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius Direction: East Time: Dawn Season: Spring Colors: White, yellow, lavender, pale blue, grey.

Earth
Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn Direction: North Time: Midnight Season: Winter Colors: Black, brown, green, gold, mustard.

Lesson IV

Familiars

Every true dragonologist needs an animal familiar to keep them company, help them with certain things, and to just be a good companion. Animal familiars (or daemons) help broaden your mind and outlook on life, and help you with your dragonologist work.

Be Warned! When choosing a familiar, be very careful! It's not a smart idea to walk up to a mutant doglefox and try to pick it up, screaming 'Hi there familiar!' at it in a loud voice. All animals require time, patience, and respect if you want them to help you and become your familiar. Here is a short guide to choosing a familiar, and what to do once you've chosen:

Step 1: Choose a Familiar
First, you must think about what kind of furry (or scaly) companion you'd like to have. Remember that this creature will require a lot of care, and that a familiar isn't just a temporary thing; it's forever. Once you have your familiar, that's it, no going back; just like a pet is forever, you have to care for them for the rest of their life. A familiar is the same way. When choosing a species of animal you'd like for a familiar, keep in mind your housing situation, what kind of animals you like, if you're allergic to any kind of creature, and what kind of time you have to spend with this animal. Make sure you make the right decision.

Step 2: Bonding with your Familiar
Familiar bondings are simple, and consist of only one step: you must ask your chosen familiar if he or she is ok with being your familiar. (Well, it's only right to be polite, isn't it?) It could be as simple as just straight-forward asking the creature, such as 'Hey, wanna be my familiar?' or it could involve spells and books and all sorts of complicated things. Go with whichever method feels right for you.

Step 3: Working with a familiar
Once you have your familiar, you need to realize that, like any sane creature, they have limits. Say, you want your familiar to venture into the Snowager's lair to fetch you a negg (or possible a blast of ice in the face!) Before asking it to do so, think about it first; would YOU ever want to do such a thing? If the answer is no, don't make your familiar go through with it, simple as that. If you would, well...possibly consider the fact that maybe you're a lot braver (or more stupid) than your familiar.

Step 4: Dragonology with a familiar
Familiars are good friends, yes; but they can also be good helpers. Think about it like this; do you just stink terribly at Mathematics? What if you need to figure out a Math problem concerning Dragonology? This is the perfect task for your familiar to complete! Most familiars will strive hard to be as helpful as they can to you (such as tidying up the workroom, cleaning the potion bottles, or assisting in a spell, etc.). The only thing they ask in return, is that you take care of them (feed them, water them, give them a few Springy Mootix Toys and a Royal Petpet Bed or two) and remain their friend.

Lesson V

Herbology Basics

All Dragonologists must have a certain amount of knowledge regarding the things they will be working with- spellcasting, animals, dragon runes...and herbs. Herbs play an important part in a Dragonologist's work. Here is a list of common herbs and plants and their properties, and what kind of Dragonology spell you might care to use them with. (First the property is listed, then the herbs that contain that property.)

Protection
Acacia, Angelica, Aspen (wood), Bay (wood), Black pepper, Burdock, Carnation, Cedar, Clove, Clover, Cumin, Dill, Dragon's blood (it's a plant. :) Elderberry, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Galangal, Garlic, Geranium, Ginseng, Hawthorn, Holly, Hyacinth, Ivy, Juniper, Lilac, Lily, Lime, Lotus, Mandrake, Marigold, Mustard, Nasturtium, Nettle, Oak (wood), Parsley, Periwinkle, Pine, Primrose, Rose, Rose geranium, Rosemary, Rowan (wood), Sandalwood, Snapdragon, Spearmint, Valerian, Willow, Wormwood, Yarrow.

Good Luck
Allspice, Bayberry, Bluebell, Catnip, Ginseng, Irish moss, Nutmeg, Orange, Poppy, Rose, Strawberry, Vetivert.

WARNING!!! Let it be known that it is not wise to actually eat any of the herbs I've listed. They are not meant for it. They are only meant to be put in potions and such, not eaten. I've seen many a Meepit that turned into a Doglefox because they ate something they shouldn't have.

Lesson VI

Stones, like Herbs, have certain properties. Here is a list just like the herb one above, only, instead of listing the herbs that have a certain property, I will list the different types of gemstones and rocks. (Yes, this IS a lot of information- but a Dragonologist needs to know as much as they can about the world around them. So grab a pencil and paper and start writing this down! ;)

Protection
Agate, Beryl, Chrysoprase, Citrine, Diamond, Garnet, Jade, Lapis lazuli, Lepidolite, Malachite, Moonstone, Obsidian, Onyx, Peridot, Sapphire, Sunstone, Tiger's-eye, Topaz, Tourmaline, Zircon.

Happiness
Amethyst, Chrysoprase, Rose quartz, Turquoise.
Good Luck
Alexandrite, Aventurine, Chrysoprase, Lepidolite, Opal, Tiger's-eye, Turquoise.

Lesson VII

Potions

Every Dragonologist must learn how to mix together a proper potion, or else, who knows what could happen! (I've seen all sorts of things, such as a Royal pet turning into a mutant one, a Mortog morphing into a Snowbunny, and even, believe it or not, a Uni that chipped a hoof. The last one was the worst to witness, I assure you. *shivers*) Here are some of the different types of potions you may come across during your travels around Neopia:

First off, there is the Morphing Potion. These potions can be found in all sorts of places, and come in all sorts of colors and species types.
These potions are extremely hard to create; I even have trouble with them at times. The best maker of Morphing Potions is that magical Kau, Kauvara, who owns the magic shop in Neopia Central.
Morphing potions are extremely useful- therefore, they can be extremely expensive and sometimes very hard to obtain.

Next, we come across the Transmogrification Potion. *shudders* These things are SCARY! Who knows what your pet will look like if they drink one of these.
My sister, Golden, was actually a mutant aisha once...it was very unnerving when she drank the potion, but since she still kept her sweet, kind deposition, it was easy to get used to. And out of all the mutant pets, the mutant aisha, in my opinion, is one of the more...er...sane looking ones.
But anyways, these potions are vile concoctions that Dr. Sloth himself created, to try to morph pets into his mutant army to do his bidding.

Next on the list, are the Battle Potions. These potions are used for all sorts of things in the Battledome, and only in the Battledome. Some are very weak and nearly useless, while others are very potent and quite dangerous, so it's always a good idea to read up on the potion before purchasing it...or who knows what may happen.
