Welcome:

Thanks lelye for this lovely layout!

Welcome guest to mariai's MS Paint Blog guide! In this guide the code is already made so don't worry. Thanks to my friend Joyce for making the coding. Thanks so much!

You will learn how to do blogs by using just MS Paint and MS Word. No you don't need the programs that you need to pay for. Usually MS Paint comes with every computer, to check if your computer has it go to Start, All Programs, Accessories and then click Paint. It will have a small cup and some tools and paintbrushes next to Paint. You can find MS word at Start, All Programs and then in all the Programs try to find "Word". Word has next to it a blue and white big W. Now let's go on with the guide 'shall we?

Before we start, please do not copy this guide, so you can make a MS Paint blog guide but don't make it exactly like mine. Meaning: The words are exactly the same as mine and the images are the same.

The Guide:

Step 1:

Ok first we have to open up 1 MS Paint window up and 1 MS Word up. Now we want to have a background image in our Blog background so go to the neopets backgrounds page by clicking here and pick any background you like from there making sure it is 360x300 or 358x300. Mostly all neopets backgrounds are 360x300. It will need to be one of those sizes. Click on the small image of the background you have chosen then a window will come up. I will use this image for example:

Step 2:

Copy the image you choose by clicking on the image on the backgrounds page, a new window will come up with the background you chose and then right click on your mouse and then click copy. Go to your Paint window and go to Edit then Paste the image.

Step 3:

Now you will see the image you chose. If you see white background in the back just go to a blue dot and minimise it so it's right where the image starts. Now Copy this image below and paste it in the paint program that you have your image in.

Make sure that on the toolbar it's the same as this or if the blue is on the other one the template will appear as it is shown above but we want it to be see through:

Now your image should look like this with the background you have chosen:

Step 4:

Now where it has that rectangle where we want to write in choose this tool and choose that rectangle and copy it. Now go to your MS Word window and Paste it there. Your image should look like this when you choose the rectangle, there should be some dotted lines around the rectangle and make sure it on the line or it will be messy if it isn't:

Step 5:

Here you want to make it so that you can see the writing in the blog so we are going to make a part of the photo fade. Right click on the picture and then click Picture Format.

Now just click the arrow down at color and you will see some options to choose from. Choose "washout" and now your image should look like this, a bit faded:

Step 6:

Now copy that image and put it back in your paint program. Your image should now look like this:

Go to File, Save As and name what you have done now and save it to .PNG or the image will look totally wrong. Go to imageshack.us and go to Browse. There find your blog, when you found it click it and click upload.

You should be given some codes. The one you need is the last one from all of the codes which has to say, "Direct link to image". Keep that page open and copy and paste this code below in your page that you want your blog to appear:

Now go back to where you uploaded your blog and copy the last code, go back to where you want your blog to appear and backspace "URL HERE" in the code and there you paste the URL. Now your blog is finished. It should look like this:

Write whatever you want here! I hope you like the blog! If you write lots of things you get a spiffy scrollbar!

Hope this guide helped! If you need help just neomail mariai.
