I was born in Terror Mountain and I got the blue fur of my mother. She was a very gentle, loving cloud Lupe, while my father was a proud fire Lupe. I got his dark brown eyes. They were everything to me and they loved me very much. They taught me about the Great Lupe Spirits and that they watch over every single Lupe. I wanted to become one of them and thus became my dream. I wanted to see the world outside the cave, but my parents forbid it, because they thought it was too dangerous. But one day, when my father went hunting, I followed him secretly, but he soon spotted me. He was infuriated with me, but when we returned to the cave, I saw my mother lying on the ground and another figure in the dark. He was carrying a large sword covered with blood. At the sight of this, my father charged at the figure, with his long fangs and eyes burning with hatred. I was startled, because I never saw my father this angry. The figure dodged the attack and fled into the night. Tears ran through my fur that very night, but my father said that mother was in a better place now and we should be happy for her. I didn't know why that shadowy figure was after my mother, but soon he will be brought to justice.

My mother was buried close to the cave. I placed a tiny flower on the grave, but sadly froze on contact. I walked solemnly back to the cave and my tears froze into ice as it hit the cold, hard ground. As I grew up, my light blue fur grew darker and my dream of becoming a Lupe Spirit did not change. In my heart, I knew my father was always there for me. But that was proven wrong during a cold night. A blizzard was roaring like it was never before. I was asleep but suddenly I heard my father growling. As I awoke, I saw two figures in the night. One of them was my father. The other was the same shadowy figure who killed my mother. I was frozen with fear, and was unable to move. "Zero, get out of here!" my father yelled. I couldn't sit here and watch my father, the Lupe who raised me, get killed! I roared, "NO!" and hurled myself toward the figure. He drew his sword and slashed my stomach and then I saw darkness.

When I came to, my stomach had a long scar and then I realized what happened. I got up on my feet and searched the cave for my father, but he was no where to be found. My emotions took over and I started crying but then a bright light shone in my eyes. As I rose my head, a beautiful faerie stood before me. She held out her hand, as if helping me. I was hesitant at first, but I gathered enough courage to approach her. She spoke in a gentle voice, "Come with me, young Lupe." I took her hand and the light surrounding the faerie grew brighter and almost blinding. I couldn't see and the next thing I knew, me and the faerie were on the top of Terror Mountain. I asked, "Why are we here?" but the faerie was gone. She vanished with the howling wind. The blizzard was stronger than ever and I was angered at the Great Lupe Spirits. "Are you really there?!" I yelled. "Or are you a lie made up by my parents?!" But in my anger, I saw something sparkling under the snow. When I dug it up, it was a cape, with a shining bright blue light. The light grew much brighter snd soon, it lit up the whole mountain top. When the ligt receded, the cape was around my shoulders, complete with a hood. A single snowflake was adorned, connecting the hood with the base of the cape. I then felt a painful shock in my body and fur changed color to camouflage and large wings of ice ripped out of my back. The sharp icicles were patterned to resemble feathers and didn't feel heavy, but felt weightless. But I began to question whether or not I could fly with it. I closed my eyes and jumped off the cliff and when I opened my eyes, I was high in the air. I simply couldn't believe it. The wings were functioning like bird wings, and I made a smooth landing. My body coursed with power and then my wings disapeared. I then decided to never believe in the so-called Lupe Spirits, for I knew they never existed. For now, I needed to find my parents killer.

I left Terror Mountain the next day, not to return. Within a few days, I ended up in Shenkuu. I wandered through the streets, looking for food, for I had no Neopoints. I got hungrier and hungrier by each passing day. One day, I was too hungry to walk and I collasped. I knew when I awoke, I would be in heaven, with my parents. But I felt something licking my face. When I woke, I was looking at a Juma. I got up and continued walking, but the Petpet followed me. "Don't follow me." I said to the fox. But it continued to follow me. I then decided I had nothing to lose, and I took the Juma with me. I named it Kurama, and it seemed fine with that name. So me and Kurama continued on our journey, to find my parent's killer.

As the two of us continued our journey, me and Kurama become closer. We crossed many lands, including the Lost Desert, Moltara, and Mystery Island. But I have yet to find my parent's murderer. After 3 years, I searched every part of Neopia. But I had no luck finding the murderer. I gave up and me and Kurama headed back to Terror Mountain. But when I returned, the whole mountain was destroyed. I had to find survivors to learn what happened. I found no survivors, but only remains of the Neopians. I then noticed a note that read, "I have returned."

At first glance, confusion swept over me. But then I realized only one person could have destroyed Terror Mountain, and that was my parent's killer. Hatred and rage took over my body and I roared a monstrous howl. I felt a sharp pain in my back and my large icicle wings ripped out. I also felt my fangs grow much sharper than normal. I thought to myself, "Why would the killer destroy Terror Mountain altogether? Was he looking for me?" Countless questions surged through my mind. "Maybe I have a special power, that the killer needs?" But that didn't matter right now, but what did was finding that merciless killer. But first, I had to do something about Kurama. I told him, "Kurama, you have to stay here." He seemed to understand and romped into a small cave. I jumped at least 30 feet in the air and flew at blinding speed. But while I was soaring, a loud explosion blew from behind. I decided to change plans and see what caused the explosion. As I landed on the ground, I instantly recognized this place. It was my home! But then a sudden explosion blasted me out and my icy wings receded. I barely made it, since I was hanging on the ledge in front of the cave. I managed to climb up and then saw a shadowy figure. It wielded a longsword and instantly I knew I had my parent's killer cornered.

As I moved closer, the figure was motionless. Flashbacks of my parent's deaths kept coming back to me. My hatred felt like it was going to burst out of my body. As I kept walking, the figure finally took a step out of the shadows. The figure was a white kyrii with blood red eyes. He wore a long cape with a hood, and ninja like armor. One of his ears was ripped on the top. The both of us continued walking towards each other, without saying anything. When we both stopped, we were a good distance away from one another. Then, without thinking, I yelled, "WHY?! WHY DID YOU KILL MY PARENTS?!" The kyrii first said nothing at first, but then replied, "You have the powers of Winter, inside your pathethic body. And by wearing that, the Winter Cape, it increases your powers even more. Ihave searched for years, searching with everything I had." I remained silent throughout the whole story, listening carefully. "But during my searching, I saw you had the power all along. And with that in mind, I killed your parents, so that your full power could come into full swing. And now I need to kill you, so that the power insode you will be mine. With Winter's powers at my disposal, I can first rule Terror Mountain, and then all of Neopia!" I couldn't possibly believe that I, a normal Lupe, possessed the power of Winter. I started growling louder than ever and the kyrii said, "You can never learn to control the endless power of Winter. A true wielder, such as me can harness the true power of Terror Mountain." I thought to myself, "I have to defeat this guy, at all costs! If I lose, he will misuse Winter's powers and rule Terror Mountain! I can't let that happen!" I yelled to the kyrii, "If you really want to have the power of Winter and rule Terror Mountain, you'll have to go through me!!" I lowered myself into my battle stance, ready for the battle of my life.
