Welcome to the Painted Petpet Directory! This directory is trying to list EVERY petpet in Neopia! Not necessarily just the painted ones, unpainted are welcome too! If you're interested in having your petpet star on this page, or are just curious as to how this page came about, keep reading and I hope you enjoy ^_^ About PPD The Painted Petpet Directory was originally founded by Chantelle aka Merilea on her krawk Krawklette's petpage, to try and list every painted petpet in Neopia! Her directory followed the example of a directory that started around the same time, Painted and Proud run by Wistful_Saga, who thought the "little guys" deserved some recognition too! I personally used to ADORE her petpage, and I was always sending in my new updated petpets to have them star on there, and I used to LOVE clicking on all the petpets and seeing who their owners were and how they'd matched them. So when I noticed that the PPD was gone, I was really sad, I used to love this page! So when I offered to fix the code, de-list any removed/zapped petpets and generally update it, and Chan actually offered for me to continue the page in her stead, I was absolutely thrilled and ready to take on the challenge! I'm still very grateful to Chan to this day ^_^ So finally this directory is back in business! After several hours of updating (which is still constantly going on) PPD is now fit for service and waiting for YOU to send in your entries! Please see the bottom of the page for submitting details. Thank You To... Obviously the largest shout out goes to Chan(Merilea) for letting me take on this directory and being a great friend. Don't worry, I haven't ripped off the code, she's let me take the whole lot on! ;) I'd also like to thank Krista for the help with the graphics, Hamilton_Zoo, Bridget, Bluegirlblueworld and Jenn for sending me lists of all the petpets that needed removing, and Eths for finding me more petpets to add ^_~ And finally can't forget Melissa, Lindsay and Molly for helping Chan make this site what it is today! Submitting your Petpet If you'd like to have your petpet featured here, and there isn't already one of that combination here, please drop me a webmail with the following details: A link or name to the pet your petpet is attached to. Webmail submissions will get priority over neomails when an update is run. I'm afraid lab-exclusive colours and species are the only zapped petpets added. These include Gold, Strawberry, Jelly and Chocolate coloured petpets, plus petpets you cannot buy, like the Flurm for example. Petpets that have been zapped, changed or removed will be de-listed without warning. Please only submit your petpet if you are going to keep it permanently on your pet, as checking through these petpets and removing all the absent ones takes a lot of time! If you've decided to change your petpet, please drop me a line so I can remove it. Also, if you are looking through the directory and happen to come across a zapped or removed petpet, please feel free to tell me as well! I try to neomail everyone back once I've added their petpets, but it's been getting difficult to find time to neomail everyone back, but thank you everyone that neomails, and keep checking back to see when your petpet is added!
