Full Name: Yaniih Ryou
Chapter 1-Faint memories
The only memory that I remember from my young days; was one when I was only a few months old. When Ryou clan Lupes are a few months old, they are big enough to walk on their own and use all five senses. One day, I wandered away from the pack and into the mountains I went.
At first I was amazed by the tall mountains I had never seen before. This felt nothing like the den I lived with my parents. I eventually spotted a trail that went up and around the mountain.
I slowly made my way up, step-by-step, careful not to make a wrong step. I wasn't able to make it to the top, but I was able to make it to a large flat area of the mountain.
Towards the edge of this area, I saw a tall rock with someone standing on it.
I quietly approached the rock and saw a very young desert Shoyru. He must have been at least six years older than me.
Who are you, mister?" I asked.
My sudden question seemed to startle the Shoyru, making him turn around and look at me with a worried look.
I closely looked at him and saw that he was holding a young yellow Kougra in his arms.
I took a step towards him and he, in response, took a step back.
I looked at his eyes that were filled with fear. I could smell the faint smell of blood on his clothes and skin.
What happened to you?" I ask.
He seemed to calm down a bit as I asked those questions.
I am fine," he replied.
He slowly turned away to go before I stopped him.
Wait! Do you need any help? I have help," I suggested.
He looked at me once again but this time with a worried look.
No, I am fine. If you'd like, I could get you down from here since it looks like you have lost your way," he uttered.
Oh, ok. I hope my parents don't know I'm gone," I muttered.
He walked up to me and grabbed me with one hand.
Lhoukas Bijou, pleased to meet you," he whispered.
Oh, I'm Yaniih Ryou! Pleased to meet you too!" I exclaimed.
The whole time he flew me down the mountain I stared at his face, which was straight the whole time. It seemed it was best if I didn't bring up what really happened to him.
Finally, he dropped me off at the entrance of my clan's territory and it seemed nobody noticed I had traveled up the mountain, yet.
Thanks a lot! If you ever need anything you can always come by here!" I offered.
Yes, that would be nice," he whispered.
Here, take this with you so you'll be able to find me again!"
I took out one of my wristbands and handed it to him.
It's got my scent on it so now you just need someone with a good sense of smell!" I exclaimed.
Thank you, Yaniih. Maybe fate will allow us to meet again," he muttered.
Fate? Ok! Bye Lhoukas, hope to see you soon!"
He turned around and gave a sad smile to me. I saw him fly off to the distance, towards the north. From that day, I had always wondered why someone from the Lost Desert with the smell of blood on them came all the way out here. From that day, I had never forgotten his or the Kougra's scent.
Chapter 2-To reminisce
My head felt heavy and hurt like someone had pounded it several times.
I slowly opened my eyes to see I had fallen down into a trench deep within the mountains.
I felt cold blood trickle down my forehead. I stood up on my four shaky legs and heard a small whimper coming from behind me. I turned around to see my Kepru, Miya, wagging her tail, waiting for me.
I wearily approached her and grabbed her with my mouth. I couldn't remember what had happened to me, or what has happened to me in the last 15 years. All I remember was this faint memory I had of a desert Shoyru and the knowledge of Miya being my hunting companion.
I tried to make my way out of the dark trench and into the sunny fields ahead. As I felt the soft grass upon my paw pads, I looked around to see it was still around noon. Something must've happened either during the night or morning that made me fall down that spooky trench.
I looked up at the sun and then ran to the nearest creek of fresh water my nose could find. I smelt the scent of the water slowly touch my nose. I was dying of thirst, something that I had never experienced before.
I approached the border of the creek I found and gulped down as much water as I could. Miya happily joined me, wagging her tail rhythmically.
I jogged in the fields for a couple of hours, exploring and smelling different scents. Even though I did all that, I still couldn't remember what had happened. It seemed as if my mind didn't want to remember what had happened or something was obstructing my memory. I felt so afraid and alone, not knowing what to do next. I knew who I was, who my petpet was, and I had one memory from when I was still very young.
As I continued to walk onto the grassy fields, my ears hear a faint sound.
I could smell someone but the scent seemed to come and go, like it was flying.
I looked up as the sun blinded my eyes that were looking for the strange new scent. I saw a silhouette of a four-legged Neopet with reptilian wings. Could it be a Draik?
I saw it was getting closer and closer until it met me face-to-face.
It seemed the stranger was a blue Shoyru with a bushy head of light-blue hair.
He landed right in front of me, on all his four legs. It seemed very strange to me that he walked on all four legs when Shoyrus only walk on two legs.
Are you from the Ryou clan? What are you doing out here?" he asked.
Ryou? What are you talking about?" I replied.
Hmm, so my predictions were right."
What do you mean?"
Judging by your markings, you're a hunter from the Ryou clan. I saw you unconscious this morning at the trench."
He curiously peered at my face, as if he was inspecting something interesting.
He gently put his right paw on my wound and sighed.
It's not very safe to wander around in these fields, especially during the night-time. Tell me, what was the last thing that went on in your mind?" he asked.
Uh, I don't remember. The last memory I had was when I was very little, of this desert Shoyru carrying a yellow Kougra. He brought me back to my home when I wandered away," I replied.
Wait, a desert Shoyru? Out here? The only one I've heard of coming here was."
I saw him pause and his eyes were surprised by something I had said.
This Shoyru you met, were there any special facial features on him?" he asked once again.
Well he- Wait! I don't feel safe telling you! Tell me your name first," I demanded.
Ah, forgive my rudeness. I'm Reoruu, of the Perse clan, and who are you?"
I'm Yaniih, from the Ryou clan I guess. The time I met that Shoyru, he was dressed in a very unique way, as if he were very important. Wait-he told me his name. It was Lhoukas Bijou."
I saw Reoruu's face -disallowed_word-color=white)">

I guess I have to be grateful to Suiqu for giving me a home. Since she's an artist-type person, she's always drawing pictures of me (I like it that she draws me though, unlike someone I know).
Reoruu can be very annoying at some occasions. He is everything that I hate, but then again, he can be very likeable.
Tavher is like a brother to me, there's even the coincidence that we were born on the same day, but we aren't related. I take that as a sign. Where he goes, I go.
