It was along time ago.. My parents were very high in the chain of command in the Darigan Citadel, lord and lady of the court, good friends with Lord Darigan himself. I never cared for much things, the black arts of Mystery Island always interested me. I wound spend endless hours studying them, but never found any directions or anything like that... But one day Darigan had sent my parents on a diplomatic visit to Mystery Island, I tagged along being promised a tour of the jungle
It wasn't long after the tour started that I fell astray from the group of happy tourists, I wanted to see the dark side of the island, where the natives lived.. Where they practiced their spells. Eventually after trekking for hours on end I found myself in Geraptiku.
I was probably the first -living- Neopet there in years, I was excited. I had read about this city, how the inhabitance all disappeared mysteriously. So I looked around, finding... Many things... Powerful artifacts of dark magic and the like. But the most important thing I found was this...
The Krawk smirked again pulling a small book out and flipped the pages.
It's empty
Right, right, it's invisible ink, and once you get it to show it's written in a Neopian language not used in century's. So it's compleatly useless to most... But I had the Darigan Citadel's library's on my side.
For weeks I searched the library for a book to translate it, and found nothing until I snuck into the restricted section. I found a book on Geraptiku text, it took months but I learned their symbols and characters and started to read it.. It was wonderful... All the horrible things I could do to people... I tried them all, and they eventually caught me and banished me from the Citadel.
Soon I took up a real life of crime, stealing to survive, I made contacts, people like the pirates of Krawk Island. I become a member of The Thevies Guild.
Yaashi grabbed a tigersquash from a bowl and chomped in to it as he trailed off. Spitting some of the seeds into a spittoon and continued his story.
