Welcome to my site, Mystique Graphix! Before we begin our journey, I would like to address one issue - the giant scrollbar you see to your right. I ask you to not be alarmed - you will mainly be getting around the site by using the navigation and mini-navigation. But don't be afraid to click the scrollbar to see more graphics in any section!

About the Site

Mystique Graphix started out as a tiny little graphics site that only did shields, avatars, and buttons. However, as I became more experienced at coding, this site grew into what it is today.


Who am I, you might ask? My name is Christine, I am 17 and a college student. I am going for a math major and an English minor - not someone you would expect to find making graphics in their free time, I'm sure. I try my best to make all my work come out perfectly, so rest assured I will have no trouble making your graphics.


Around the site, you'll see something called a "mini-navigation". This is the navigation for each section of the site, and will bring you to anything. You may have to scroll down to see more, depending on the section. At the bottom of each section there will be a link to go back to the mini-navigation.

Rules

1. Fill out the form if you are requesting a graphic. No form = no graphic, and I will only remind you once.

2. Don't ask me when I will be done with your request, I have a very busy life outside of Neopets and I will do it when I have time.

3. Don't be rude. This includes in your request, sending hate mail, etc. I don't tolerate rude behavior.

4. Please don't take other peoples codes for shops/galleries, user lookups, or petpages! Those are all custom requests. If you like them, you can request a similar one, but please don't take theirs.

5. If requests are closed, don't send in a request. If you do, I won't do that request. If you want me to tell you when requests are open again, I will.

6. Leave the credit on. I can't really force you to, but if I catch you without credit on (and I do check!), I won't make any more graphics for you.

Browser Check

This site has been proven to work in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. This site also works in Opera, but as Opera does not support anchor links you may wish to explore this site using a different browser.

Please note that this site has what I would consider to be a full screen layout, and if you have to scroll sideways on this page you just need to make your browser fill the whole screen. You can just hit that lovely box in between the "minimize" and "exit" buttons on your browser.

Tutorial

Shields are fairly easy to insert, but people find them to be very difficult. So, here are a few tips on how to place the shield on your userlookup.


If you had another custom shield previously, you need to take it off. Otherwise it will either hide the new shield, or neither one will be visible.


Since the shield has style tags of its own, you can't put it inside your style tags. For those of you who are not familiar with coding, please the code I give you either at the very beginning or the very end of your userlookup code.


Sometimes, codes just don't work, even if they're identical to ones that do. If you've done all of the above and are still having a problem, neomail me and I'll give you a new code for your shield.

Emergency Hiatus
An hour ago my mother grounded me and took away my computer permanently - although I will be 18 soon and may be able to get it back then. I only just managed to get my computer back to tell everyone what happened but there is no way I can sneak it back again, at least not until things have quieted down here. And, all you parents out there, don't ground your kid just because they have insomnia! It's just not fair! I'm sorry to everyone that is waiting for their request but if you all want me to be alive to finish your request then I'm sure you'll understand the delay.

Definitely having a problem with computer time - I can only work in the dead of night. Once school starts up I may be able to sign on more often, but that remains to be seen. For now, I'm just trying to get done with all my requests. Today I added a form for mall banners in the pictures section, as the regular form won't work for them.

I just got home from vacation...this marks the end of a ton of computer time! I will have to keep most requests closed at all times and only make a very few of them. Plus it will take me longer to get them done. I'm sorry, but life really is going to get in the way. I will make a few changes to the rules so the site will be manageable.

I have closed pet page layouts, user lookups, and shop/gallery layouts...if you are on the waiting list for one of them, I will still make it! I'm just not accepting more requests right now. My vacation is almost over, and not only can I not use the computer much at home, I will be jumping back into work and soon afterwards, school. The requests I left open are ones I can easily work on during the flight back, so feel free to send in requests!

I am having a crisis with my animation program - transparent images can no longer be animated! I am trying to find an online animator if possible, but for now I'll be taking a short break from the site. While I'm away, maybe I'll go shopping for a new layout...

So, didn't get much done in the way of requests today, but I'm working on them tonight and hopefully everything will be done tomorrow! I am thinking of adding a counter, but I'm really not sure where I could put it. Probably right under the updates...what do you think? I'll try to find a good design image for it.

Greetings from Boonville, New York! I am currently residing in my farmhouse in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Feels great to be back home again! I'll be taking requests, but I'll be a little slow on them. I only get here once every 3 years, after all!

So due to packing, I wasn't able to sign online at all. Something to do with an annoying parental rule that the computer stays in my suitcase while I'm making everything fit in there around it. I completed a few more requests, but I am saving the rest of them to do on the airplane tomorrow. Remember, I may sign on in the morning but after that I will have no internet connection until Saturday evening.

I have been very busy, and have managed to finish 6 shield requests! I am still working on the button requests, as they are very time-consuming. Shield requests are now back open, and I will resume advertising.

I have received so many requests today that I am temporarily closing both button and shield requests. Shield requests will probably open again soon, but I expect button requests to remain closed until I've cleared the waiting list.
