I met him through Deemontai, who knew him through Piraktos, who was friends with Jadeyr. Jadeyr is his father. His name is Proctoru. I could tell at first glance that he wasn't all kyrii, even though he resembled his father quite a bit. I found out later his mother was a cybunny. At first he wouldn't speak to me... though I tried to get him to open up, he barely gave me a second glance. I didn't give up though. Through constant encouragement, praise, and just generally being there for him, he finally came to trust me, confide in me, and call me his first friend. Through all of this, I began to feel something towards him that I've been unable to tell him, even now. At first I felt simply a desire to help him. He was lost and pretty much alone, with no friends to talk to and no family that truly cared for him. His parents were unable to raise him properly... they were uneducated and therefore unsuccessful. They've admitted this. Over time, my desire to help became a desire to simply be by his side. His seldom smile made my heart skip a beat. My face flushed every time his fingers came close to touching mine. I found myself many times thinking of him when my mind should have been on other things. And yet... I know he is completely unaware of any of this. He trusts me with his secrets... why do I find it so difficult to tell him mine?
