Welcome to our Adoption Agency! We have several pets in need of a good home.
There are a few rules to live by here at the agency, please read them carefully!

~ you may only submit an application ONE time per pet. Repeated applications will be considered as spam and your application will be ignored. If you don't hear back from the pet's owner you must exercise your patience. A lot of times these pets are on side accounts and the owners don't check in every day.

~ Your pet application MUST follow the application guidelines stated below. Applications submitted in any other form will be deleted.

~ BEFORE you submit your application you must ensure that you have not used up your receive transfer for the month. Neopets allows only one send and one receive per month.

~ Your account must be AT LEAST 4 months old before you can receive a pet. If your account is younger than 4 months old do NOT apply for one of our pets, if you do your application will be deleted.

~ Read the Neopian Pound FAQ's before you submit your application so that you completely understand how transfers work!

~ Be sure your application is in a clear, easy to understand fashion. Chatspeak is not understood by everyone, and if the pets owner does not understand you, your application will be deleted!

~ If the pets currently on your account are sad or hungry your application will be considered void.

~ And lastly, be sure you have a space to put your new pet should you be chosen. If the pets owner sees you already have 4 pets your application will be deleted.

The owner of the pet does NOT speak on behalf of Knockturn Alley's Guild Adoptions! Anything he/she states is that of their own mind, and Knockturn Alley's Guild Adoptions will not be held responsible for any wrong doings on the owners behalf!
The owner has the right to remove any petpet, petpetpet and clothing items from the pet before transfer. If these items are of importance to you we suggest that you contact the pets owner with any questions that you may have BEFORE you submit an application.

This is how to apply for a pet:
Applying for a pet could not be more simple! First, ensure that you are logged in to your Neopets account that you wish to adopt from. Just select and copy the following application form, then click on the 'Apply Now!' link located under the pet that you wish to adopt. You will be taken to your neomail with the pet owners username already in the 'To:' box. Paste the application form into the box and fill it out! Easy peasy! Be sure to write Pet Application or something similar in the subject box.
Owners will choose the application that really captures their attention! Try to be more specific than just 'because I'll be a great owner'. And remember, neomails can only be 1400 characters in length, so try not to get too long winded because your application will not go through!

Feel free to make a petpage application if you desire - applicants who clearly put a lot of time and thought into their application will outshine the rest by far!
