Mother: Jennifer Rae Cayro (deceased) Father: Michael Arnold Cayro (deceased) Siblings: Older Sister; Sierra Faith Cayro (deceased) My father died when I was just a few weeks old. It's terrible to never have known your de ad father, but it's worse never to have known your alive mother. You see, my mother died when I was eight years old. I still remember her, the way she looked when she had been crying all night, the way she said things she didn't really mean, the way she never told us anything. I don't remember my father, though. I wish I could say I did. I never remember my mother ever being very happy. I grew up with an older sister, and after my father died, my mother mourned and weeped. I guess my sister reminded her of my father because she was favored between us two. I was left alone most of my childhood; my mother was always taking my sister somewhere, all kinds of contests. Sometimes I think that because my sister remembered my father, my mother tried to make her busy to stop her from thinking about him constantly as she did. Mum never wanted us to be like her, she often said that. My sister died later in a car wreck, she was on her way to an talent show with her friends. She truly was talented, I often envied her because I have no talent that I can recognize. After she died my mother wept for a few weeks, then she died. I found her in her room, sitting in her old rocking chair, head down and she was cold as a stone. I then moved in with my grandmother, and odd character, but I soon learned to love her very much. She was very dear to me. She had told me that she would teach me to sew. I remember how my heart raced and I couldn't sleep at all that night. The next morning I ran through the house looking for her. I called her name a few times. Then I saw the back of her head from the wind*w in the kitchen. I raced to the front porch and she appeared to be peeling potatoes, but she'd stopped and was looking to the horizon. I shook her, and said her name a few times. She dropped the potato in her hand. I knew then she was gone. I don't remember ever feeling so sad. That's when I began...well..." she rolls up her sleeve, revealing many scars on her arm. She looks to the ground. "I'll never experience something so terrible, ever again." Adopts coming!! |
